The room was fantastic! Our pup loves his doggie bed and the treat that was left for him. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The on site restaurants had great drinks and great eats! Pet friendly and very accommodating.
Stayed in a historic room for two nights. Beautiful room lots of cute touches. Had a great stay. Friendly staff. Breakfast at Spruce was delicious. Great coffee. The bath robes are awesome. Within walking distance to many shops and food.
Very nice hotel, but it can be difficult to navigate for disabled people like me.
Good pillows, but the bed was definitely too firm. And I can't understand why such a nice hotel would have cheap plastic toilet seats.
The night lady at the bar was great. She was very friendly and helpful
The breakfast was mediocre at best.
The potatoes were definitely under a heat lamp too long. I was glad that the serving size was very tiny. Simply because they were NOT very good.
I didn't really care for the sausages. They were more like itty bitty bratwursts than breakfast sausages.
And there was only 1 slice of toast.
And 2 eggs that were not much bigger than quail eggs.
Had to wait way too long for a refill on my coffee.
Nice catering for a wedding rehearsal dinner. All outdoors so masking not an issue. Hard to find the event area when entering from the restaurant, but other than that a beautiful historic setting. Attentive staff.
Historical. Well maintained. Clean. House keeping top notch. Valet excellent. Really well run. Ride the elevator. Bartenders Downstairs are professionals. Prices are very strong, worth the experience though.
Last minute reservation for us turned out to be a happy accident. What a lovely hotel. Location is fantastic. The staff is superb. The historic building is grand. The rooms are clean, comfy and well appointed. The corner bar has late hours and a good menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A++. Best hotel of my trip.
This was my first time in Boulder but hopefully not the last - our experience was amazing and my friends in the city confirmed that this hotel is the place to stay if I want to get an authentic experience.
Special thanks to Laurel from the staff - she reminded me that there are still some good people among us that do kind things. I left my beautiful earings at the hotel by accident and she managed to find them, beautifully package them and have these sent to my home within a week. I was very impressed, grateful and will try to pay her kindness forward in my daily life.
Beautiful hotel, helpful staff and wonderful rooms. I stayed for a work trip and it was fun to stay somewhere with such a rich history, great food on premise and incredible craftsmanship and details in building design.
We also booked out a conference room for a three day meeting and had an great experience with fast wifi, good coffee, food, and service.
Cool place. Lots of history. We didn't stay here, but we ate brunch at the restaurant, then explored the hotel. I would stay there next time we were in Boulder overnight.
The service at this location is atrocious. From the check in all the way to the check out, I had nothing but a terrible experience and a strong attitude towards all and any requests. The hotel is nice and at a great location. However I failed to come across one encounter that I can count as positive. I will never stay here again and I have made sure that our company policy is updated to remove this establishment from our list of preferred places.
