Absolutely okay hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Located a little outside the city center. 10 minutes walk to the Metro.
Absolutely okay hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Located a little outside the city center. 10 minutes walk to the Metro.
To reach Amsterdam you need to take a short walk, just under a kilometer, then take tram number 2 or 18. In any case, the hotel offers a shuttle service for 5 each way and rental bikes. Nice and clean room, the beds are made every day without needing to request it explicitly. water and ice dispenser on the floor. In reception, possibility to buy snacks and drinks.
Beautiful ... helpful staff, great breakfast, loved ....
A hotel I would come back again. If you have a meeting in the dostrict - go for it. Rooms are big and clean with clean bathroom. If you are thinking about visiting the city - go for something closer to the center or Zuid.
This Ceasar Salad was very tasty. Good service at the restaurant.
Clean good length to city centre comfortable beds and plenty of hot water
I had lunch, good food, friendly staff, okay prices
Wonderful: service, facilities, breakfast, I don't know a better place to stay in Amsterdam
Overall this huge hotel has potential, has a good location and access to public transport, but have to say that for us it was disappointing in terms of cleanliness. We have stayed in 4 star hotels in other countries (Czech Republic and Malta) and we were expecting a similar if not a better experience in terms of hotel conditions. The room had a nice design but it was dirty from day one. Dust flying all around every time you touched sheets or towels. The bed was done daily, but the floors (wooden, no carpet) looked and felt dirty. Found one bug on the curtain midway through our 5 night stay, which died and fell on the floor. We left it there while out in the city, just to see if the room cleaners do anything about it. To our surprise it was still there when we came back which proved that there was no hoovering or mopping the floors. We eventually decided to leave a "Clean my room please" sign in our door knob (which they provide in every room), but the floors remained untouched. We did not have breakfast included in our package so cannot speak to that. There is smart facility though at reception/ground level where one can buy coffee/tea, snacks, drinks 24/7 by self-service card payment. Unfortunately, should we go back to Amsterdam, we will not stay in this hotel anymore
Friendly personnel and nice ambiance! Parking lots are found under the hotel.
Nice room, very good food, and above all a very welcoming and friendly staff, they were more than adorable with our 2 year old. The center is easily accessible thanks to a fairly close tram (8 min walk).
You can stay overnight in this beautiful hotel. Location is very suitable in connection with a working visit and it is also easy to get from the hotel in Amsterdam (both center and HMH / Arena). Rooms are very nicely decorated, feel very luxurious and are well maintained and hygienic. Service at the counter and in the bar / restaurant section are very good, very friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast are delicious. Dinner card contains, so far, always a number of special dishes that can be called a taste experience. The 'normal' dishes are also very tasty. Breakfast is full and delicious. Decorating the hotel is also a plus, regularly changing art in the hotel and always nice to look at.
We have been going there for years they suit us perfectly and the prices are reasonable
super nice room fully equipped very friendly and helpful staff on reception great restaurant nice service we felt welcome
Outside the city. To the train about 10 minutes walk. In good weather no problem. Should it be dark on the way back, I would not recommend women to walk alone. the hotel is quite modern and the rooms are ok. The breakfast was ok.
Hotel very good. Great food and breakfast. Far from the center and the train station.
We were very happy with the hotel. Staff was nice and helpful, rooms clean and nicely decorated, with the room service everything was good and the volume was great.
The Wi-Fi is for a hotel that is mostly visited by managers very bad
Located close to the IBM office, easy parking, stylish rooms
The hotel is nice from the exterior but it fails to live up to its rating. Little things about the hotel make it seem cheap and for a place called, "Dutch Design" it doesn't seem like functional design was in it's consideration. The furniture is of poor quality, feeling light and hallow. There are knicks and scuffs all over the built-ins. The bathroom door and shower door are incredibly frustrating. The bathroom door did not close completely, staying ajar constantly, and the shower door did not block the water from leaking out. After every shower the floor was completely covered in water. The TVs are very old and made the rooms feel cheap and the curtains did the same. This place was very disappointing.
Profesional staff and good service.
The rooms are spacious, clean and well managed.
Located at quite and peacefull area.
Train at walking distance.
Fortunately I have had a businesstrip to Amsterdam and the hotel of choice was The Dutch Design Hotel Artemis. Lovely clean rooms with all the luxury you need. Breakfast in the morning is really good and the staff is amazing. The only disadvantage was the 'fitness room', it could have been much better but, the Dutch Design Hotel Artemis in Amsterdam deserves all the four starts they have.
Wonderful hotel. Good facilities. Just in business district so need to take the tram to get into central Amsterdam
Nice hotel with easy access to the city center. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Dust is probably not too often wiped, the milky bathroom door had on our arrival very many clearly visible fingerprints and the like, and also in general the bathroom was not very well cleaned. The bed had a strange grease stain, which was not removed during our stay. The breakfast was ok, there is a very nice terrace available. At the time of departure I and my wife were charged 2 times breakfast too much, but this was corrected again. In addition, I was charged 2.50 for parking, although at the time we were told that the parking is included. It was a pity that this fact could not be explained to me, but good, is not tragic. All in all, I would not necessarily stay here again for the normal price, unless you get a very good deal (as I did).
The hotel is 7.5km away from the city center. The ceiling of the room we stayed in had a champagne trail and a heavy spice smell. Room heating is also a prk.
Not recommended. Really tricky to get along with no value for money
Very nice hotel set outside of the main center of Amsterdam
Easy access to and from the airport and Amsterdam by bus with a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram and bus stop.
The rooms are good, we stayed in a queen superior and the bed was very spacious and the room also had a fridge to use.
Downstairs in the lobby there's a fridge with a selection of sandwiches and drinks (soft and alcoholic) and tuck shop with a self serve kiosk for purchases.
They also offer cycle and scooter hire, room service and free wifi.
The local shopping precinct is a 20 minute walk or 2 stops by tram.
Located in the business area of the town, next to the B2 offices building. Big and clean rooms with nice lights. The matress was very ok. Breakfast included a lot of options, so you can definitely find something that you like. The food was tasty.
HAVE TAKEN THE TIME DA, INDEPENDENT BEAUTIFUL WOULD ALWAYS ARRIVE AGAIN. :)
The hotel looks nice, but the room wasn't. Stains on the ground, chairs with torn lining, a lot of dust everywhere (dustballs really). There were hairs in the shower and in the toilet (not mine, needless to say), nothing felt really clean.
The shower didn't have a constant temperature, going from warm to cold to warm all the time. The WiFi wasn't any good, connection dropped all the time.
Maybe you have better luck, but I don't recommend this hotel.
Very stylish and cool hotel, but far out from the city centre so wasn't easy to reach
Hotel of good quality but which tends to overcharge its services.
The business room is large but good apart from that I do not really see the difference with the standard room, the bedding is already very comfortable, the bathroom as for it brings nothing more.
The most annoying is the price charged for breakfast (30 ), firstly we wonder if there is not a mistake but we are told that it is the price ... So at this level of tariff I I am waiting for an exceptional day, and far from it! Certainly there is choice but nothing that justifies 30 .
Excelent customer service, impresive facilities, everything was perfect!
Modern hotel but unfortunately the police leave a lot to be desired the beds are not remade, the bathrooms are dirty in a week have not been cleaned
Hotel located in the suburbs but in the same time easy to reach, and enough to get on the tram n. 2 and enjoy the view for about twenty minutes, and get off at the Louwesweg stop. There are two ways to reach the Hotel: follow the road, or shortening in the middle of a park passing through the neighborhood. Friendly receptionist, various common areas and restaurant service with an outdoor terrace. Spacious room, overlooking the greenery. Too bad that it is not allowed to open the window wide, this prevents to ventilate the room.
The cleaning leaves a little to be desired. The floor is dirty, but today we have forgotten the sign of not disturbing in just two days the sole of my shoes are black
Nice contemporary room. Breakfast excellent. I went to tourism by the CVC that lamentably puts its clients in hotels hidden away from tourist points which makes it difficult for locomotion for who is a tourist. No advice for those who go to tourism. Nothing close. Isolated.
Very good. Away from the center but the rest makes up for the hosting.
Nice and tidy hotel. Very well cared for. Very good breakfast. 1 min point. The hotel was very far from the bus station.
It was just awesome experience staying there.. comfortable and excellent.. 6 star service
Great rooms, friendly staff and modern decor. Overall, really recommendable, if you have no problem with the walk (about 800 meters) to the tram ....
Ordered superior room which was standard. Wallpaper peeling and furniture requires maintenance . Tram stop 8 min walk away. No local shops .
Lunch here is horrible. Price far too high, service nowhere to be seen, 45 minutes to make a simple sandwich. It just wasn't dirty. You are crazy if you eat here.
It is a good hotel but I had problems connecting to the internet.
Nice hotel, good service but for the price I had surely expected more
Located at the middle of the business centre. Very convenient and good place to stay specially you are on business tour.
Since we booked through a provider platform, we had some extras. The service was great. The rooms, however, already worn and partly the furniture is damaged. Breakfast is the Dutch call to be a no breakfast country. Otherwise, but there was everything you need and you will be full. Check in / check out was great, service at the front desk was also accommodating.
Atmospheric but sleek hip design hotel, good for doing business.
We stay in this hotel for 3 days with my family. Two rooms. What is incredible is that our room #432 was not cleaned for two days .... The first time we say nothing, a mistake can occour, but the second day also the bed was not made. It is incredible considering the cost of the rooms: we spent 800 for this service. Under the puff we have found medicine probably of the previous client !!!
I'm really hurted about it. I'll never retourn.
Good hotel with welcome to the height! The breakfast may seem a little expensive but the quality is satisfactory. Beautiful & modern standing.
A little off center of the city center but absolutely not embarrassing with the possession of a bike.
The bike rentals offered by the hotel are nevertheless of poor quality price (16 euros / day) when you can find 10 euros / day.
I recommend !
I ve seen reviews stating it s not clean or the doors bang ( well close them properly! ) I can not see any justification in those reviews, we had a lovely quite large room clean fresh towels and the bedding was also clean ( we like to check don t want to be laying in anyone s filth ) under floor heating in the bathroom which we turned off as the room was warm enough as it was . We had a day out when we got back there was some (dried) mud off my trainers on the floor so we put the please clean our room label on the door and when we came back in our room it was spotless clean towels floors hoovered and mopped , great room service . Anyway when first arrived we were greeted very pleasantly at the front desk given our key cards then we had a look around the ground floor, very impressive clean and airy, modern . The hotel is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of central but we liked that ! A few minutes walk (8) and you can pick up a tram number 2 takes you right into central station , it goes through some of the more up market areas on the way , or at the same stop you can get a bus that takes you through the more local areas ( nice to see ) . Anyway the bar area is great , good selection of cocktails , wine and spirits ( I had a few dark storm cocktails and each one was on point !) and the restaurant in the evening (a la carte) was fantastic do try it . The staff were more than helpful (as my partner has an apple allergy) to check all the ingredients and preparation would not affect her . As for breakfast well the selection was vast , you can have boiled eggs , scrambled ( if you asked probably fried ) bacon , sausages , beans ( a little bit different to what we have in England but ok ) then the continental selection cheeses , hams , beef and smoked salmon, a wide variety of breads , rolls and croissants, fruit juices , smoothies and cereals , great start to the day . We will be coming back here as it suits our every need ! Some great deals to be had if booking early online , and in my opinion worth every penny !
Lovely hotel. Rooms are clean and contemporary with nice facilities. Breakfast was great with a wide selection available. Restaurant was also great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
At the reception one was very friendly and answered all questions in English. The lobby is really about art and there are many things to admire. There is an underground car park. We tried the breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. So many different dishes, typically Dutch, fruit, cheese, sausage, jam, bread and rolls. Juices u.v.m. The room view made a worn impression. In the Tisvh were many quirks, the ceiling showed strange spots, the glass partition in the shower had black marks in the silicone. From the room I was disappointed.
some of the staff(front desk) are not professional in dealing with guests..and some basic services are not available..also toilt paper is not soft, be careful ...and next time i will go to another hotel
Great hotel. The east side has the quieter rooms. Breakfast international in buffet form. In the evening, a small menu with delicious dishes.
Location is about 30 Mina out of central Amsterdam. Rooms are nice
The rooms are nice and good customer service. A very nice breakfast
My wife and I stayed here during a recent trip around Europe. The hotel was clean and grounds well maintained. The bed was comfy and bathroom had all reasonable accommodations. The hotel also has a restaurant/bar on site and servers a complimentary breakfast that was really quite good. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's about a 20 minute ride via nearby tram or metro to get to centraal station which is perfect for anyone that wants to have a quiet night sleep but stop be close enough to easily and quickly reach the city center. Would recommend to anyone traveling the area.
Very nice hotel. The rooms meet the standards. A bonus is floor heating in the bathroom. The internet is also fast enough
Close to metro, helpful staff, clean and big rooms.
Good place if you work anywhere close since there is nothing otherwise for you to do.. Being a vegetarian, I didn't find many options for dining, though the breakfast was good with plenty of vegetarian choices.. The famous Tram Route No. 2 is a short walk away from the hotel that can talked you to the other attractions of Amsterdam.. staff is generally courteous but slow.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location is nice, clean and quiet near the city center. The city center is 15 mins with public transer wich is 5 mins fron the hotel on foot. Some parks are around the hotel if you want to relax. The hotel is modern with all conveniences. The reception is helpfull. The rooms are clean, modern with medium sound monosis.the breakfast was plentyfull and tasty.Wifi signal was really bad.the prices were fare.I might rebook.
Nice and quiet location. Takes about half an hour in tram to get to central station.
Nice hotel. People from all over the world and friendly reception. But you should be able to speak English
Gerade zu Zeiten von Covid-19 kann man deutlich mehr Sauberkeit erwarten. Nicht zu empfehlen.
Positiv:
Negativ:
Modern hotel in a great location not so far from schipol
Nice hotel but poor service for the price that you pay then you have to pay 20 euros parking per day. Had problems with the hot water tap. Reported several times but received no response. Fresh towels requested but never received and this is not a cheap hotel at Schiphol.
Parking is not too expensive for Amsterdam, and you can charge your car for free there.
The location is not so good. It is 10 minutes walk to the station. Otherwise, the hotel is good
Loved this hotel, very intimate and quiet. Beautiful decor, helpful staff . Little bit of a journey to the centre but you only need 1 tram it just takes about 35minutes to get there
