Rooms were large, location is a bit out but just walk 7 mins to trams and take a 45 min tram into city centre, but its also closer to the airport than staying in the centre. Theres a bus direct to the airport.

Absolutely loved this place. It's a bit outside of main city and action, but I welcomed the peace and quiet and beautiful walk to the Tram stop after a long busy trip in Europe. Rooms are updated with nice bathrooms, heated floors and plenty of space. Hotel itself is very hip, well decorated and has a great breakfast, outdoor and indoor dining area and restaurant on site (a little expensive). The walk to the tram gives you a real feel of Amsterdam sans the partying and tourists. Tram was so easy to use, very affordable and fun to look at the city everyday from stop to stop. Plus the location is super close to the airport! But you could take the tram to the Centraal Station, too.

I grew to appreciate this hotel, although my initial thoughts of it weren't great.

The interior of the hotel is fantastic - as imagined, it being a design hotel etc. they have quite quirky stuff to look at throughout.

I enjoyed the 24/7 grab & go service in the lobby where you can pay via self service and they offer a range of drinks and snacks - chocomel too!!

The staff are all polite, friendly and professional.

Location of the hotel isn't amazing - but we were just a 20-30 min ride away from centraal station. This was easy to reach and we bought a 3-4 day tram card from the hotel at 24.50 which was super useful. I recommend these 3-4 day tram cards for anyone staying slightly out of the central area of Amsterdam.

The bathroom is nice - the floor is heated and they also provide very little complimentary toiletries which at first I was annoyed at (I prefer having both separate shampoo and conditioner), but realised this is an environmentally friendly approach and I appreciate the fact that they also provide less towels and minimal extras (which most times aren't necessary anyway).

My only advice would be to get new pillows. The pillow's are awful - these really should be changed.

For the price I paid I expected not to pay the city tax. Rooms were adequate if your travelling on business. It s a hotel in the middle of nowhere. If you are not good with map reading you might even struggle to find this one, we arrived in s snow blizzard at just after 4pm and had to get a taxi from the tram stop (thankfully) There are very few close amenities and nearest public transport is at least 0.7km so if your not good on your legs I d give this one a wide berth.

The public spaces of the Artemis hotel are rather interesting and pleasant, but the rooms are a bit dated and need some maintenance. I had some dirty bedcover sheets (fortunately not the real sheets) and also the mattress was rather poor. If you travel by car it is convenient they have a parking garage of their own.

Cheap hotel (HRS-Deal) outside the city, easy to reach by tram. Modern design, big rooms, a bit worn. Friendly service, upscale bar and restaurant prices.
Should 10 / hr. pay for a late check out - that's not even, especially since the hotel was underutilized.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed, I say this because I am Roman and we only speak badly of my city well then it is time to say that the metropolises are all dirty it is a demonstration of the room in which we stayed in this hotel for 5 nights me and mine husband. Oak never got the bed redone, much less changed the sheets. Bathroom always dirty. We tried to dispute but they justified themselves by saying that cleaning pollutes !!! With this I think I said all PS obviously not breakfast. was included and the price was inaccessible 21 euros ahhhhhh I went to dinner for 3 nights in a row in the restaurants with that amount. Being away from the center we had breakfast with lunch

At first glance the place is nice, but it hides less pleasant surprises.
We took a double room with two separate bed sticking together with only one mattress when we arrived.
Poor wall insulation you can hear the neighbor very well.
No water pressure in the shower so you should not be in a hurry, breakfast at more than 19E the choice is not there!
For 460th the stay without breakfast I would not go back.

Stayed here for four days whilst visiting Amsterdam. Room was a good size and well furnished. Breakfast was also good. A short walk to catch a tram into the centre. This is a nice quiet location.

Nice but worn hotel away from the city. Effortless staff! Approximately 25 minutes by tram line 2 and 10 minutes on foot.
The decor corresponds to current hotels in Europe, not too nice but functional. Breakfast (until 11 o'clock) good and adequate. Dinner possible. Bar closes at 10pm.
Room worn ... partly in need of repair ....

Fine! My husband and I stayed for a whole week. We were met on the threshold of Christmas, the girl at the reception was very polite, she asked what number we wanted. We chose a bathroom and a large bed. The room had a mini fridge hairdryer TV kettle tea coffee sugar and cream! Minus just had no slippers. There was a small shop in the lobby where you could buy something for snacking (urgently). There is silence near the hotel, everything is very quiet and only ducks bathed at the lake near the hotel. We went to the center by tram number 2 and the 18th bus. Pass can be bought at the reception. Will definitely be back!

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!*** THE HOSTELS ARE MUCH BETTER!!! Hotel is very far away from the city centre so expect to be out all day and come back very late because you won't be able to just pop in should you need to. It's a good 20 mins on the tram and not the easiest to find as the directions they offer on the website is not only wrong but completely unhelpful. We had to get a bus from the airport and even just finding the bus took a good 20 mins because the directions offered on the website are wrong!!! Not self explanatory at all.

Literature through out the hotel has been written by someone who does not speak English, so do yourself a favour and ask to clarify. Upon check in they tried charging me twice for City tax though I had already paid it via credit card. Had a few drinks at the downstairs bar and the staff were incredibly rude and insulating!!! They wanted to charge me extra for taking my drinks to my room! Couldn't believe it!! Worst hotel experience in Amsterdam. Not pleased with it at all. Too far out, not easy to find, literally NO shops around the hotel so utterly I'm convenient. Again, the bar staff especially were absolutely horrific, wouldn't recommend. Bite your lip and book a proper hotel or a hostel. You are 100% wasting your money coming here.

This hotel is modern and beautiful with wonderful staff. Very comfortable rooms with heated bathroom floors and glass bathroom door ( very chic). The hotel staff was nice enough to make me a smoothie with the frozen fruit that I brought from the grocery store after my personal travel blender suddenly stopped working. The gentleman kindly handed me my smoothie and said, "here you go, ma'am. So you don't waste your money " :) I was really impressed. I would highly recommend this hotel for its service but I will say it is a bit of a ways away from City Center but that could be a good thing because it is quiet outdoors which makes for a peaceful sleep! :) We had just come from Paris and it was the opposite...Paris never sleeps so with the windows open in our hotel room THERE, our sleep was disturbed often, but NOT at this hotel. It was pleasant and quiet.

If you like design, service and quality, then this is the place for you; the lobby alone is already worth your while.
The welcome was very inviting and the room was extremely well cared for.
The hotel has all facilities including parking, which we were allowed to use on the day of the check-out.
The location is not central, but you can walk to the heart of Amsterdam by public transport; the desk staff is happy to help you with this.
Finally, the breakfast buffet that I could enjoy intensely: diverse, generous, tasteful, etc.

Nice hotel room, although location is miles from anywhere. Only half the lights in the room worked, & not the ones needed. Late at night it took 45 minutes to get me back into my room when staff inadvertently electronically locked me out, despite me having paid in full, in advance. Evidence was, however, in my room. No manager on duty to help or explain, everything, literally everything was too much trouble. Extras (bike hire, breakfast etc were expensive & provided in a charmless indefinite fashion). This was not a relaxing place to stay. All services were unnecessarily difficult. I will avoid in future. I wouldn t stay here for half the money & twice the assistance. For an upmarket hotel, this was a truly dreadful experience.

Really nice hotel. Staff are fantastic. I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Just be aware that a taxi into the city takes 15 to 20 min. Public transport is available close by. Also there are no shops or anything close by.

1. When we moved in, the Room was not clean - we found dust on the TV table and some gravel on the floor. When we asked for the staff to do room cleaning - the dust was removed, but gravel - never was
2. Our floor was not ever washed in 6 days that we've stayed - so the gravel remained in the room for this whole time
3. Cleaning staff pulled out the garbage to the TV stand from the garbage bin, where we've put it to be thrown out. We were just shocked

Booked a superior room through travel circus. It's a joke! The word super doesn't mean anything. When asked, it became clear that the travel circus was asking too high a price. It should be mentioned that the was reduced from 120 to 89. Here the room costs 78 (far from 120). I've just arrived and for now I'm full. Will continue to write after departure.
The breakfast was a joke! A hard egg, 1 small roll, 1 toast, 1 wholemeal bread, 2 fillies, 1 glass of juice, 1 coffee (you will be asked what you want), 3 slices of sausage, 2 cheese, 2 jam bowls (one for half of the small A bread roll is enough, a yoghurt and a bowl of fruit. Sounds like a lot, but it isn't. If you want to order extras, your requests are only reluctantly understood and, if at all, only very little is brought. So, if you can order at all. For one day We didn't see any except for the delivery. Due to Corona there is no buffet, but I know several hotels that have done this much better and more customer-friendly and you get full.
The toilet door is a glass door, not lockable and n centimeters of air around it. So the toilet tolerance has to be clarified with his partner.
ATTENTION: For all additional costs, the receptionist tried to deduct more than was booked. E.g .: parking lot. And we wanted to rent a bike at 8 o'clock in the evening so that we could set off the next day. He wanted to charge us for the whole day. We're back there in the morning.
For the price, the rooms were too small and not enough, so no table, etc.
It is very clean and the art objects are very interesting and beautiful.

Decent hotel with pretty standard rooms, Wouldn't say its 4 star. There is a few extra's that you wouldn't find in a normal hotel but nothing to fancy. Staff where quite plain and didn't have much too say. Probably wouldn't stay here again as location is poor. Surround by business's and no shops. But that said i felt like i had alot of privacy and apart from the main road i didn't hear any other sounds.

The hotel is not cooperative. My credit card did not work at night and they asked me to leave my documents downstairs so I would not "run away not paying". One does not book design hotels to run away next morning... When I offered to send an invoice to my company, they declined as they do not trust their corporate guests. It is a pity that the trust and service are valued so low here. But the hotel itself is nice - anyway I am not coming again.

A modern, great hotel. We recommend!
Unfortunately, you have to walk a short distance to get to a train station or a supermarket. But it is also possible to rent a bike directly at the hotel, which makes it more comfortable.

Beautiful and very comfortable structure located about ten minutes from the airport.
It is a pity that to go to the center of Amsterdam it is necessary to have 30 min by tram (line 2) and to use it you need to walk 10 minutes from the hotel.
Not very comfortable.
