Hotel is nice. Location is great, quiet and only 10 minutes nice walk to public transportation. It takes roughky about 25 minutes to city center. There is a shopping center where you can buy affordable groceries to save some $$$ which is only 20 minutes easy walk. Rabbits and ducks along the route. A bit pricey, breakfast is good but expensive. Should be priced lower considering the room charge. Unable to use small refrigerator in the room as it smelled really bad. Shower was also broken but repaired the following day. Staff is very friendly. Offered free glass of Prosecco during new years celebration. Should have been more in my opinion as was surprised to see that room charges was doubled during 31 Dec and 1 Jan.

Great cheap hotel. For the price you pay, the quality of the room is pretty top notch. Shower seems to change temp at its own will which is a bit strange but not major. Walking distance to nearest tram to city centre is about 15 mins away. Recommended!

The rooms were very clean and modern, also I LOVED the heated bathroom floor. Only issue: I booked the room service online and it was never delivered. However, the staff was super nice about it and wouldn't take points off because of that.
I was at Artemis Hotel Amsterdam in May this year and did not find the time to write a review yet, but better now than never. I can even remember in those days too how angry we left this place.
It hardly was the worst experience from a hotel ever. His position is far away and after a certain hour you can not find transport from the Centrum to it.
The staff was so unprepared and not trained to receive customers, very crumpy and sad. Especially the black guy from the reception.
Alot of things are to say, but defnetly the most certain one is to recommand NOT to go there ever!
Room ok, needs a bit of tlc. A bit far out from Amsterdam centre if on a short break although tram no 2 is only short walk away and runs regularly
I am very disappointed with the hotel, unfortunately it ruined our trip to Amsterdam.
We were only offered another room, which we refused. The new room then turned out to be really disgusting.
Hair everywhere, dirty floors, walls and surfaces. A non-working and strange smelling air conditioning in both rooms in midsummer is very unpleasant.
The icing on the cake was the mattress and its protector. It looked so beautifully stained on both mattresses. Disgusting, I can't think of anything more.
We left after just one night and were reimbursed for the usual nights.
The location of the hotel is absolutely stupid, you walk 15 to 20 minutes to the train. Just annoying.
Solid hotel (room clean and modern furnished), but with an unfavorable location. You had to walk 10 minutes to the train, and then again 30 minutes to the center.
Staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. We had the do not disturb sign up for the duration of our stay so housekeeping left a bag a fresh towels at our door. Very considerate staff. Rooms were lovely. Very clean.

Great hotel little bit of outside of city center, but with quiet atmosphere. We really liked the big beds. The room was roomy. Not even 10 mins to bus or tram. The wifi was decent, but sometimes the speed was very slow.

We spent 4 days in this four-star hotel, unacceptable cleaning room service, garbage in the bag left in the room, bed pillows on the ground and bed very briefly redone, a dead insect found on the windowsill in the morning and left there, cups of the coffee left dirty in the room, the positive judgment I would say that it is impossible.
Just outside the city, but still well connected by bus and tram to the airport and city. The rooms are already a bit old, bathroom was unfortunately not clean cleaned. Reception staff very friendly. Breakfast is about 20 too expensive.

The team at the reception received us very friendly. The room was very dirty. Everywhere was dust, the tiles in the bathroom were not clean and in the shower long hair from the previous hotel guest! Breakfast was ok. The metro was a good 10 minutes and then 20 minutes by tram into the city. So it's not central.

Good size room, quiet and comfortable, very clean. The location is a little bit too far from the town center, though it is week served by public transport.
Stay'd here 1 night for a party in Amsterdam, Location was a little far from the centrum but overal the hotel looked nice and clean. Room was ok and fancy. Only the food service in the night (after the party) was poorly, ordered a hamburger but it looked like a prepacked microwave hamburger, with chips (not fries, chips... well bummer). Else everything was fine.

It seems they don't clean or change toiletries for your last night of stay. As we returned on Sunday evening from our last stroll of the city to find the bathroom as we left in the morning and wifi stopped working for us since the last night. Called the hotel counter to enquire, they told reluctantly before hanging up 'I see' ...

A modern, nice and clean hotel. Stayed there on a businesstrip. Personal ist very friendly and always willing to help.
Good location, price okay, a bit worn / slightly worn rooms, breakfast was very good but the cleaning staff did not like it in terms of cleanliness of the room (strange hair in the bed, in relation to the room). Reception multilingual and friendly / helpful.
Excellent room, receptionists available and speak fluent English, convenient to line 2 10 minutes from the hotel
Stay was ok. The name promises great things. However, when you go into the room, you notice that a lot is already a little "worn out".
Negative here:
- stains on the wooden floor
- Severe dent in the wooden floor
- a purple chair with an otherwise brown-beige interior
- many corners and edges already chipped
- The duvet cover is only stretched over the thick mattress protector and therefore easily slips
- The shower lacks seals, without which the water can escape a little
- The temperature of the water in the shower changes constantly
- No shelf in the shower for soap
- Toilet brush does not fit into the holder, so it splatters a lot when you pull it out
- Toilet paper is very hard and a little thin
- Lamps by the bed are too dazzling
- Clothes rail without hangers
- Stains and streaks on the walls
- Due to Corona no breakfast buffet, but 1 of 3 selectable, already completed breakfast sets. Limits the selection a little.
- unfortunately no mask requirement in the hotel
- Unsuitable because too large a floor lamp between the armchairs in the room
- Table lamp too big too
- Windows have to be cleaned again

Great place for relaxing, working from you room far away from the busy city center which can be within reach if you take a cab or metro to bus! Enjoy the stay! Good food as well!
Pleasant ambience, not the newest interior, but quite acceptable. Reception is friendly and informative. A bit away from the center, about 850m to the tram stop. Restaurant in the hotel is ok, but from a restaurant in the 4 star hotel I expect a bit more style and better food, which certainly varies from dish to dish. Negatively noticed are actually only a few younger guests, who once barefoot and noisy in the outdoor area lounged on a lounge and put up their feet. Is just unfavorable, if you want to enjoy dinner next door and somehow youth hostel atmosphere comes up ...
4 stars for the hotel itself, the location deserves only 2-3.
Hotel is very clean, Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner sufficient and tasty. The price for meals in the restaurant are slightly above average for hotels and thus quite expensive in relation to a normal restaurant (Burger 15 Euros).
Travel into the city is about 30-40 minutes (10 minutes walk to the next tram station + 20 minutes (at least) travel into the outer regions of the inner city).
The quarter surrounding the hotel is pretty boring. No shops, no restaurants, no "anything" actually.

Very reasonably priced, artistic and contemporary hotel. Rooms are spacious and have air conditioning, and bathrooms have underfloor heating. Bit of a walk from the tram connections to the hotel, but they have a shuttle bus every 20 minutes that you can book a spot on that takes you directly to Dam Square. Restaurant has a nice menu, available on their website.
Located in an industrial area, very quiet. There are no bars open during the weekend around the hotel. large rooms, modern style, very comfortable mattresses, helpful and courteous staff. Bathroom ok. Breakfast is not very varied, continental, not included with the room. Excellent cleaning. Good and tidy room for the money. However, it is way outside of Amsterdam, not easy to get around. You need to walk 10 minutes to the closest public transport stop and then 30 minutes to the center.

The hotel room was very nice, quiet and very good price when book through booking. Only thing that the hotel is a bit far from the center, the shower water flows very small and the wifi is very weak. I would love to have breakfast here. Very very good. But I do not like vending machines. Because I was charged 4 times in the card. And the room key is also quite annoying. It is best to leave the reception before going out, but do not hold on.

All summed up its a very comfortable, well designed, clean and not too expensive hotel with friendly staff, nice rooms, as well as a silent environment. In the park nearby the hotel you can even see some wild rabbits. For some people it might be a disadvantage, that this hotel is not directly at the citys center. Personally I enjoy that. You need about half an hour by tram to reach citys center. So its not too far away. Tram station by the way is about ten walking minutes away.
