Great hotel with very friendly and very competent staff. The rooms are bright and friendly and very quiet. Breakfast buffet was very rich and delicious. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked on my last visit to Hamburg. I can only recommend the Old Guard.

I went last October

for the first time in the old watch. I am completely satisfied. The location is ideal for the main train station. Reception is manned 24 hours. The single room was a bit small, but sufficient and very clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Booked here again for May.
