Busy when I went in. Couple customers had been waiting and got each other's orders but the staff took care of it right away. Food is great and staff is awesome.

Love their homemade fries with skin still on and malt vinegar! I crave them and their root beer always tastes creamier here for some reason which I crave too. Whenever we go into Amherst we have to stop at Hot Dog Heaven! I only put 1 less star because their hamburgers are dry and very processed patties, but that's not their specialty. Their hotdogs look and smell good, but i can't eat them so I can't really comment.

Great hotdogs in a vintage house, Ice cream desserts, they do have out door seating. Should be on everyone's bucket list

Food was OK. Order made fast. Cashier was lifeless and when asked what's good to eat she acted like nothing was....

This is a childhood classic! Love their hotdogs and fries! The chocolate crunch coat soft serve ice cream cones are my favorite :)

I have been going to Hot Dog Heaven since I was a girl in high school. I love this place. It was a great little spot to stop on the way home from school since the high school was just down the street, and I had to walk past it with my friends every school day anyway. It has a small town homey feel to it, and I believe that it has always had the same owner. I may be a bit nostalgic about the place, but there is a reason for that. The owner has always greeted customers with a nice smile, and the kitchen workers move fast and get your food out to you quickly. They have different options for the sizes of meals you are looking for, like a partner pack, family pack, etc., and the prices can't really be beat. The only downfall to this place is that it is a bit on the small side, but they do offer a small dining area outside in front. The chairs inside are not the most comfortable (I think that they may even be the same ones I sat on when I was 14 years old, such a long time ago)! The parking lot is a bit small and I've seen people struggle to get in and out of it when it is really busy. It is a great little hot dog place though, and they have fresh cut fries! I would definitely recommend it! Just make sure there is a table available before you unload everyone if you want to sit inside and have a large group.

Somehow, even with a major change in management, over all the years, it's still that amazing place to go, and take the family along. Granted, there isn't the largest seating arrangement. But, it's nearly impossible not to like, if not love, being there. Even when busy.

Great place for a Coney, or a delicious dessert. There is a full menu, and though it all looks good, I go there for Coneys and Fries. Haven't tried anything else.

Carry out take too long I waited 30 mins for a takeout order. I got back in line to ask what was taking so long they helped the guy behind me first. Terrible Customer Service

I've been going to the place since I was a young girl with my family. Now that I have a family of my own I take my daughter there on our date nights. We go there as a family. Definitely a huge part of my life.

Good place for lunch, but expensive for a regular sized hotdog. Fries are the best around though. If you want a really good hotdog, go see the vendor who stands outside of Metro Hospital by the ER. He has the best hotdog stand, but you can't rate him on Google.

Excellent we make a special trip for the cheese dogs and fries with malt vinegar a few times a year.

The young lady taking the order was nice, but her listening skills needed work. She was told by the manager and another employee to clarify whether or not the orders were. In house, or take out. She never listened. Her not listening back up a line of orders. The food was nice...next time i will say light onions

This is a cute little place. I can remember going to this place when I was doing my driving classes with my instructor. WOW! That was so many years ago. It still has the same vibe as it did before. It's a cheerful lil spot where you get fresh hot dogs and some good fries and just sit back and hang out.

Been going there since they opened in 1976, and they are still the same today.

I have mixed feelings about this place because I do like the food and I respect what they do, but they charge way too much for some hot dogs and they don't even do anything special to them. Nice spot for a quick lunch.

First time there, the chicken tenders and fries were good! The fries are fresh cut and crispy! I also had the pleasure of having the hot fudge brownie sundae, and it was delicious! It is small brownie bites with frozen yogurt topped with fudge. The bites were delicious and different than your ordinary sundae! Recommend going there!

Love to grab a jumbo kraut dog and a root beer. Chili cheese dog is really good too.

The employees appear very unhappy. They are short-handed and it is wearing on them which is obvious when you see how tired and harried they are. The food isn't as good as a few years ago but still decent. The employees love the place itself and at one time I'm sure they loved working there. It's a shame that sometimes changes are insisted on even when nothing's broken.

This place is a treasure for all of the visiting high school sports teams. The staff is always super friendly and patient with us. The prices are very reasonable and the food is solid. I would suggest just a plain old dog with chili, cheese, and bacon smothered all over.
