Anytime I'm near my hometown it's a necessity to stop

Tastes the same as when my mom and dad took us here which was about 20 years ago. It was and still is so yummy!

Love the food but everyone that works there seems miserable

Still one of my favorite guilty pleasures close to home. The fry portions are hit or miss, sometimes you get a mountain, other times half of one. I'd take a chili cheese coney from HDH over just about any other place.

Nice variety of hot dog toppings/combinations. Tasty fries. Popular with the school teams.

Hot Dog Heaven is a Amherst staple. For many years, people of all ages have been stopping in for their delicious hot dogs and fresh cut french fries. With a variety of toppings you can customize your hot dog any way you like it. Ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, cheese, chili and more will make sure each bite is satisfying. Their fries are absolutely amazing and are cut fresh daily. I personally love to dip them in their malt vinigar. Not in the mood for hotdogs? They offer burgers, salads, and chicken items as well. Got a sweet tooth? They have you covered with a variety of dessert options to satisfy your cravings. My only wish, is that there was more room for seating inside. Due to the building formerly being a house, the dining room can be cramped or even full during peak hours. Other than that, I have been coming to Hot Dog Heaven since I was a small child and I will be coming back for many more years to come.

Kitchen is filthy. Employees are extremely rude. Foul mouth. Not a friendly environment. not sure what happened to this place but I will encourage people to eat elsewhere.

First time ever visiting this hot dog shop. I was really amazed at what all options they could present with the simple hot dog. The staff was very friendly and service was fast. They have a nice dining area that offers a wholesome and family environment. I had the chili dog combo and loved it. The prices are very affordable as well.

Fries are to die for and the dogs come anyway you like em...best thing in Amherst

The food is always great. I've been a few time and always get a rushed vibe when I walk in. The space is a bit cramped but it is a very clean place.

The kids working we're rude. Food tasted horrible. They refused to make food for the people we we're meeting there. Will not be going back.
*Update* Because the food was not cooked properly, we all had the screaming s#*&@!! The workers (teenagers) we're in such a hurry to close shop that our food was not cooked properly. It's a shame. We use to love that place.

I love the family feeling that this place gives and they have a fun and cheerful atmosphere between customers and employees. A great place for family or a fun time with anyone, the food is delicious and filling.

If I can give this 0 I would! Since the change of ownership, the place has gone downhill. The owner doesn't care about the people. He is all about money and business....They also own Hastee and Brew Kettle..The food quality has gone down too...

Good little place. Has more then just hotdogs, it has all kinds of fair like foods. It s like a mini fair than you can go to anytime!

Nice cozy place, bought a partner pack brings enough food for 2 people, 4 hotdogs, fries and 2 sodas. Only thing Hotdogs were too small for the buns , I also purchased a Jumbo hotdog that was excellent, the fries were too greasy. Will come again.
