UN.BE.LIEVABLE. Allow me a few minutes to tell you about this company.
I noticed the jacket the first time it was introduced, but I was hesitant because I wasn't sure about spending money on a jacket for myself. But a short time ago, I signed up for their newsletter and I was gifted a discount code! Then something magical happened, the coat was back in stock and I didn't hesitate (and did NOT regret it).
First of all, their customer service is top-notch. Soon after I ordered the Alchemical in herringbone, it was shipped. They automatically include a tracking number, which sounds obvious but not all companies do this.
Secondly, the packaging is exactly as it should be. The outer layer is a recyclable thick paper to protect the goods! Once opened, I found a really sharp looking cream tote, packaged delicately with gold tissue.
Now the star of the show; the Italian wool coat is well-structured and the expert craftsmanship is obvious. The lining is the most luxurious grey, I feel this isn't highlighted enough on their site as it's one of my favourite parts of the piece.
You will feel like some queen wearing this.
On top of all of this, how amazing to support a local business that is locally sewing these pieces together. You're supporting so many people! Yes, this is the most I've put towards clothing. However, this is a life long item and not some mass-produced piece of fast fashion. And comparatively, go check out other Canadian made coats similar to this, I suspect you'll find this is actually a great deal.
