Oh wow a month all ready. I’m already 3 visits 😂usually I’d be full of dread being in the vets 3 times in a month but the vets and all the staff at horizons are different and they love our pets as if they were there own and your not just another customer. The vibe is spot on and the building is beautiful ❤️So the waiting was very much worth it.

We were skeptical based on so many negative reviews. Been seeing Dr. Phlaum about 20 years. Decided to give them a chance before leaving. Talked to Meagen at the front desk and felt good about it so had our annual appointment today with Dr. Jackson. He was kind, so personable and professional, knowledgeable and spent all the time with us we needed. Yes they recommended new options /tests that Dr. Phlaum did not but that makes sense for curremt times. No pressure on us to accept . Our cost was comparable to any other office and we were glad we gave them a chance today and we will come back.
We have gone here since 2006, we will dearly miss Dr. Phaum, I don't think I have ever had a vet who cared as much as he did for our furry family and for us. But enjoy the retirement. This has been the very best place to go. The rest of the staff is excellent, when we lost our furry family a little over a year ago, some of the girls in the office kissed Buttons goodbye to on her journey to Rainbow Bridge.
Our little kitty was having some issues over the weekend. So we called and the office got us right in. Very impressed not only with the service but also with the professionalism of the entire office staff.
Took my adopted dog for teeth cleaning. It was not cheap. The office personnel were very friendly. The tech Destiny come in to the room and she was very nice and gentle with my dog. Then Dr. Edwards come in the room to examine the dog and he was very caring about the dog. Then we receive the estimate for dog teeth cleaning. Yes. It was expensive but this clinic does not up sell. We left the dog in clinic for the procedures. About an hour or so later we received a call from the clinic the seek authorization to treat another issue. We agreed. Our experience was wonderful. Two days later we received a lab slip detailing results, plus a more detailed description of what was done to our dog. We will take our dog back in the future. If you want caring and competent service for your dog, this is the place.
Terrible service. I call in the morning, confirmed a time to bring my pets in. I arrived after a 45 min drive and they told me they would not be able to see my pets because the Vet was in a surgery. Total waste of my time. They could have called me and canceled rather than me driving clear down there to find this out. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and will never go there again myself!! If zero stars were an option I would have rated them at ZERO!!
Their doctors are the best wouldn't take my pets anywhere else Unfortunately they do not accept new clients so I'm glad I've been with them for more than 20 years.
They allowed me to come in same day for my dog's exam and nail trim. She wound up needing updated shots. Prices were reasonable and the front desk and Dr was amazing. Friendly and made my dog completely comfortable. I will definitely be back.
Our Panda, McNab BorderCollie, had a growth on her rear haunch in July 2019, Dr Edwards and his girls took care of Panda 100%. Then our JackPot, ToyPoodle had to have his teeth removed in Dec2019..again the entire staff was there for our "kids". Thank you all so much.
I have been bringing my 3 dogs here for awhile, but when one of my dogs was diagnosed with heart failure it was very painful and he was put on medications..Well, the meds were not working and when he was VERY ill one day with his breathing and I felt he was extremely bad shape, I needed to come in right away..and they told me I couldn't get in for 3 more days. 3 MORE DAYS, he would have died if I didn't get him to another vet right away, thank god....I know he is not well, but our pets are our family and as long as he isn't suffering (and he isn't) we want as much time as we can with our boy..Needless to say I was so disappointed with Horizon but so very happy with the Vet I have now, he saved our boys life...
Unprofessional people answering phones. Called to make an appointment the girl was laughing when she answered the phone. Put me on hold came back on starting laughing again put me on hold for the second time. They have lost my business.
Outrageous approach to care. Literally threw every possible charge possible ($1600), and i had to question every item one and eliminate over half their "recommended" services that were obviously not necessary. Then they failed at simply cleaning my dogs ears out for her ear infection they charged almost $200 for, had to return a few days later since they were a wreck still. To top it off, they push their political beliefs in your face. Go anywhere else, terrible business, poor ownership.
BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. PRICES HAVE DOUBLED AND TRIPLED. USED TO PAY $15 for dog exam it is now $50. Be nice if they told you their prices have changed before seeing you. But of course they wont because you will walk out. SHAME ON THEM! In it for the money not for their love of animals. That is very clear and obvious! Again SHAME ON THEM! $1000 for teeth cleaning highway robbery at its finest. $600 to draw blood and take xrays GET OUT OF HERE! BEWARE PEOPLE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Dr. Jackson is an outstanding doctor. He did didn t extractions on our Yorky Pooh Coco. He s a kind and understanding man that he has reasonable prices and the staff is completely at your disposal to have you anyway they can with your sick animal guide with Dr. Jackson and his dad Linda Fowler , Howell Arnold and Coco
I can give Horizon Veterinary Clinic a 5 they're great vets I've had them and been using them for more than 15 years for all my pets, I can write them a five but unfortunately they do not take new clients. Maybe that will change in the future.
Forget the good reviews from the past. Since Dr. Phlaum retired (September.2018) and sold to some other, this place is totally unprofessional. The new vet is straight out of school and from my perspective is only interested in making/charging for unnecessary services and refusing to provide those necessary. For me, my dog is suffering. She actually urinated blood while in the office. He refused to collect the fresh urine stating he wanted to extract it with a needle and then also wanted $1000 to run tests. After that shock he proceeded to tell me my dog had bladder stones and she also needed bladder surgery for another $1295. I freaked. He refused any options other than to have me sign paperwork saying I refused service, which I didn't. I actually requested blood tests to determine what was wrong. But, that wasn't available for less than $1000. So, instead of racking up a bill I can't afford, I was given a couple hundred dollars worth of expensive urinary prescription dog food to dissolve the stones. My dog is in pain, so I asked for Rimadyl and that was refused because that $1000 worth of other tests needed to be performed first. How disgusting. Other vets prescribe Rimadyl for pain. Bladder stones are painful. Why weren't pain pills offered during my expensive visit at this clinic? How disgusting. I am taking my dogs to another clinic. This place is a now a big scam. Greed, incompetence, unprofessional, and uncaring is the new owner's methodology I experienced. Animal owners BEWARE!
I have been taking all of my pets here from the time I arrived in Vegas 18 years ago. Words can't begin to describe how much I appreciate the exceptional care my pets have received every time. I always trust that my pets will receive the best care, and that means the world to me.
The woman vet (Dr. Katrina I think?) is amazing. Thoughtful, caring and kind... it's obvious that she truly loves animals and respects their families. Dr. Pflaum on the other hand... each time we've been in when he was working I've found myself increasingly bemused by his behavior and comments. I'm not sure if he hates cats and wants them to die or if he is just utterly confused about what to do when a cat gets sick. He's like the WebMD of veterinarians, where exchanges like this happen:
"Hey Doc, my cat, she's not acting right. She sneezes all the time and has runny goop in her eyes. What is it?"
"Cancer."
"Couldn't it be a cold or something?"
"Nope. Cancer."
"Oh no! So what can I do?"
"Well, is she allergic to anything?"
"I'm not sure, but she always gets sick when she has fish."
"Interesting. I'm going to write you a prescription for fish."
Maybe he was once an incredible veterinarian, from what I know he's been there for ages, but at some point it seems he went a little barmy. Take what I say with a grain of salt... I always encourage people to form their own opinions. If you want my opinion, though, make sure you see the woman vet when you go to this place. Especially if you have a cat.
Took my dog to have shots then asked vet Dudley t. Pflaum if he could remove a pimple that he has on his eyelid. He looked at it and said sure we can do this just come back and pick him up later that afternoon. So when I go pick him up they give me medication to put on his eye. The vet didn't do anything the pimple was still on his eyelid, he tells me he removed a pimple that I couldn't see, total rip off. I told him he should have called to let me know what was going on. NOTHING was done. $200.00 for NOTHING!
New ownership and management does not seem to have the same care for animals or customer service. They've seemed to double/ triple prices on services and medications. All while lowering customer service. The ladies up front have always been kind but recently there have been some unfriendly new faces added. I asked if I could please have my dogs medical records, once over the phone and once in person. Both times they said no , it would have to be approved and took my name and phone number. They have yet to contact me. Im not the type of person to hound a company or even write a bad review for that matter but I'm starting to feel like they're holding my dogs records hostage so I cannot seek a more competitive place of business. That or they just consider my request a nuisance. Ether way ive been a customer for many years and have always treated the business with respect. This is very discouraging. Im glad this area of Henderson has so many new options. *update went in and asked again, THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $50 FOR MY DOGS MEDICAL RECORDS, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL THEY ARE A SCAM*
Lovely, knowledgable staff! I was only a client for a short month before I had to transfer since I lived 35 minutes away and to make it easier for my puppy. However, in that short time we always had an amazing experience with this clinic. Everyone from the front desk staff, technicians and doctors were extremely helpful, pleasant and answered all of our questions. The facility is always kept clean and sanitized to prevent the spread of bacteria/germs. They have water available for your pets and offer additional services during your visit if you ask about them. Thank you Dr. Owens and Dr. Edwards for giving Tucker the best treatment during our short time with your team.
I have been coming here for years and the service is outstanding. I have 3 large dogs and wouldn't let any vet other than Dr. Pflaum go near them. My German Shorthair recently had a cancer scare and was lethargic and not acting like himself at all. He's normally very hyper and can't get out of his own way. Dr Pflaum examined him, pinpointed that the cancer was in his spleen and recommended surgery immediately. I picked him up the very next day and it was like he never had anything wrong with him at all. I've had my dogs go through surgery before but I have never seen a recovery like this. Very highly recommended!!
I've gone to Horizon Vet for over 8 years for both my dog's and cat's healthcare. It seems with each visit the customer service and care diminishes more and more. After what I dealt with today, I will no longer be going to this establishment. Although the reason for my visit today was minor (dogs only needed their booster/rabies shots), the staff was extremely unprofessional. I called in advance for an appointment to make it as painless and less stressful for my dogs and yet I was still sitting there well over a half an hour from my scheduled appointment time. Other customers that showed up after me were taken back to see the vet immediately (they did not have emergency situations). My dogs became increasingly more stressed. Even though my experience wasn't 'life threatening' to my dogs health, I still feel the staff was completely unprofessional. I do not recommend this Vet if you care about your animals and the service you would like to receive.
DON T TAKE YOUR PETS HERE.....This USED to be a great clinic. Now under new management and they are very unorganized and difficult to deal with. Not to mention they nearly doubled my pet s medication price and didn t tell me until AFTER THEY GAVE IT TO HIM. No one should go here. Bad customer service, crooked practices.....DON T TAKE YOUR PETS HERE.
This vet is right down the street from my house so I decided to give them a chance. When I first walked in I was greeted as if we were old friends. After a short wait I was put in a room to see the doctor. When Dr. Edwards walked in he spent a good 2 or 3 minutes saying hello to my dog before saying hi to me. I thought this was awesome, it made me fee like he really cared about my dog, and being that he is a vet, that is super important to me. Since that first time, every time I show up, they know exactly who I am and they greet my dog with affection and greet me as an old friend. All the front staff are super friendly and helpful. Dr. Edwards is literally amazing. Dr. Jackson is also extremely fantastic. I truly couldn't ask for a better vet and I will be a customer for life. Thank you Horizon Vet!
wonderful staff, very well informed, drPflaum is exceptional, very meticulous and extremely proficient vet, probably the best in las vegas! pet care and happiness is their first concern!
Not sure where to begin here. But I suppose I'll try to keep it brief. Had a cherry eye surgery done for my dog here. After a few days with no improvement after the surgery, we scheduled a recheck.
They told us a stitch was bothering her and that they removed it, and that she would be better soon. After a few more days without improvement we decided to schedule somewhere else.
As it turns out, my dog has developed an eye ulcer (and the ointment they've had us use could possibly make worse.) And, if this ulcer is bad enough, it can literally burst her eye.
I am so angry I don't have words. There were a number of other, smaller issues we had while there (no information given, rude doctor, dismissive tone) but all of that pales in comparison to potentially blinding my dog in one eye.
My pets have gone here several years and I am morally and financially outraged right now. My poodle has SEVERE ortho issues right now and we had been in several times to Dr. Pflaum and crew and their take on his bad breath is "oh its the breed". We kept up on the shots and exams and I ASKED every time I came in about his breath and they said his teeth were FINE. The last time THEY cleaned his teeth, he lost 13 of them -- they tried to charge me for extractions when the tech people said they just fell out!
NOW the new vet I have had to extract the majority of the rest of his teeth due to severe dental issues. HUGE bill due to the fact most were his molars. AND hope he does not have a secondary infection to boot. I HATE THIS. I am kicking myself for not taking a more active role in my pet's health and I hope my poodle forgives me.
Oh and I don't know why it is posting as Gregory Nelson because that is my son....but It's his dog too.
the new people running this place are terrible! Took my dog in just for shots and they did a fecal examination when nothing was wrong with her and tried giving my 7 week old puppy pills that said do not give to dogs less than 6 months! Miss dr flaun a lot! Will not be going here anymore.
The new vets there are very pleasant and knowledgeable. I had to wait about 30 minutes for lab results. Dr. Williams explained the results to me and included me in deciding my pet's treatment.
In 2013 I took my ferrets in for vaccines. They had an examination too. I mentioned itchy ears on one of my ferrets and I was told that I just need to clean his ears more often. Recently I found out he has ear mites!!!! This is awful. He's finally treated, years later!
I will NEVER go here again. Took my 6 year old shihtu here because he had diarrhea. They wanted $1,600, they claimed in order to find out anything wrong with him they needed to do X-Rays, blood work and fecal tests. I'm sorry but it was just DIARRHEA. No blood in the stool, no vomitng... $1,600!!! Finally after just getting an injection with some fluids, his ears cleaned out and some "prescription" dog food I spent nearly $500. This place only cares about nickel and dining people to get as much money as they can out of people, it's not the animals they care about. Shame on this place.
I have been taking my dog here for over seven years. This clinic has provided annual shots, emergency care for a rattlesnake bite, surgery for a small growth, all the considerations that occur with an active, traveling with us pet. Both Dr. Pflaum and Dr. Katrina have been caring, professional, and realistic when examining my friend. She is now a senior dog - a large dog, and the advice has always been pertinent to her stages of life. I appreciate them. I appreciate that they are not part of a chain of clinics. I appreciate that when I ask questions, I get straight answers. I appreciate the fact that their recommendations appear to be in the best interests of my dog's welfare and the related costs are reasonable.
In my opinion and experience this office uses every emotional tactic to increase their point of sale. They know that when you take your pet in for an issue, the pet parent is emotionally linked to the health of the animal and they will recommend a course of action whether it is medically necessary or not. This may be unethical, but emotional. The process is very simple. You have a suspected issue with your pet, and have an initial examination with the vet assistant, she disappears and the vet comes along and performs his exam, I guess based upon your conversation with the assistant. He then disappears and then the assistant reappears with the 'quote'. Which takes the 'do you want fries with that' to a new level, to 'you need fries with that', or your furry friend may have problems. This is the emotional sell and choice. It has happened to us several times. We now look at the quote, ask the question 'is this medically needed?', and if 'No', reject the additional fries. We have been doing this for a year now with every visit, with no adverse effects to our pets. For example our pet has had the same medical condition for several years, we called the vet for a repeat prescription (History on File). They said that we had to bring our pet into the office before they could refill the medication, which by the way is $20 from Chewy. Since we had no option, we brought our pet to the office. The diagnosis was as we predicted and the ongoing condition, however our bill was $490, before we could get the $20 prescription. That was the first and last time we got taken. We have calculated that if we had gone with the recommendations of the high pressure selling approach, then our last years vet bill at this location would have increased by over $2000. Shameful. One has to wonder about the pet parent who takes their animal to this location who does not have the means, but are subjected to the sales technique used here, and find themselves making financial choices and the supposed welfare of their pet. We have changed vets for our pets and have found a location that still cares about the animal and balances their business model with actual care required and the cost of such service to their customer. In future, if using this location, don't be emotionally conned, question the 'quote', and pay what is necessary not what they require for their lifestyle. Get your medication from Chewy and work within the needs of your budget and pet. Good Luck and Beware
New owner's all about the money.called to see if they could work with me on the bill, was told no way,by the receptionist...since when do they have the final say-so?never offered to get the Dr.to talk about a solution.very very unprofessional.
My dog Payton had to update her shots and get special tests done for our trip to Hawaii. The State of Hawaii is very strict to bring over any animals of anytime. Dr. Boggs was very kind, professional, helpful not to miss any steps. Payton Girl was a bit nervous and Dr. Boggs took his time for her to warm up to him. She was happy throughout her entire examination and playful when she left. A great place to bring your animals. There is a great groomer right next door! Great receptionist and staff. Reasonably priced and would highly recommend Horizon Veterinary and Dr. Boggs!!
Staff is normally helpful and always understanding, the new vets are knowledgeable and take care of the pets well, the exception or trend is that you receive a quote at appointment time and the cost always increases by roughly 1/3, my only disagreement with this vet.
The original vet has retired and while the new owners seem to be knowledgeable, they also are quick to recommend unnecessary procedures and tests, adding significantly to the bill.
This place was AMAZING until Dr. Pflaum retired. The new owner refused to sell me my dogs dog food without seeing her even though we had just seen Dr. Plaum right before he retired. It seems like the new owner is out for money more than the animals or clients
Have taken my dog to several vets for ear infection. They all told me the problem was bacterial infection and all prescribed "Otomax" for treatment. The infection always got better after a week of application. Yet, the problem always came back three to six months later. I took my dog to Horizon Veterinary Clinic where Dr. Pflaum took a swab of the ear canal, smelled the sample, and told us it was a yeast infection. He prescribed Zymox and 3-5 days of treatments solved the issue. My dog never had an ear infection again.
This facility is very caring and loving with our pets. I have been going to this place for years. I trust them and they have always taken excellent care of our pets.
We LOVE Horizon Veterinary Clinic!! My wife and I have been going to Dr. Pflaum for years, and before that my parents used him. They are always very personable and professional. Dr. Pflaum cares more about your animal then any other vet I have ever met. We've used other vets when we needed something on a Sunday or when we lived in San Diego, and we always feel like these other vets are taking advantage of us or our situation. The staff at Horizon Veterinary Clinic are just so nice and concerned for our pets and our sanity. My wife and I love animals and the staff here are always looking out for us. They've taken care of our dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, guinea pigs, bearded dragon, and our sugar gliders. I could not recommend a vet more than this place. We board dogs and sugar gliders here when we take trips. They are just plain awesome.
We absolutely LOVE Dr Koster! She has been amazing with our kitties. Our oldest has had multiple issues with his diabetes and Koster has guided us through every time and even followed up to check on our baby. She is a godsend!
MISDIAGNOSED MY DOG!!! I took my dog in for just a boarding. We were to be gone for 5 days. They have a piece of paper you need to sign that allows the staff to administer and provide any care needed in case of an emergency. It also states that they need to contact the owner about emergency care when provided. I came to pick my dog up and found out they had been treating him for diabetes! He didn't have diabetes when I dropped him off!! Where was my call??? They said he was showing signs for diabetes, so the treatment was just a precaution. I NEVER received a phone call before treatment was given. This happened 3 days prior to me picking him up. My dog was perfectly fine and energetic as crazy at time of boarding. When I came to pick him up, after hearing the news about the treatment, they offered to test him for diabetes. I agreed, and the test came back NEGATIVE! I brought him home. After about a week, he started showing some weird signs. Lethargy, drinking lots of water, major swelling and sensitivity in the abdomen. My mistake, I took him back to the WRONG hospital. I should have learned my lesson. Anyways, the doc checked him out. Told me it was all normal after being boarded. WRONG! Iv'e boarded my dog many times and he's never acted like this! I ordered some tests to see what was going on. All of a sudden, he had Cushings Disease!! We went from Diabetes to Cushing's Disease? Please. So not only did they give my dog treatment for the Diabetes he never had, there is nothing they can do for Cushing's Disease, because its "just something that happens to older dogs" and can't be treated. My pup passed away about 6 months after. This hospital is terrible.
I took my dog there, he had been sick for 2 days. After 40$ they wanted me to get x-ray and blood work 300$ and never one time checked his heart beat, gum color, or looked in his eyes, or even checked his temperature. There biggest problem with him is that I gave him some ibuprofen, only one and he's 70 lbs. My dog feels better however I will be looking for a new vet.
We have taken all of our pets to Horizon Vet Clinic since moving here in 2003. The staff is professional and courteous. They are all very caring to our pets. We have never had any issues and I would recommend their services to everyone.
I cannot speak highly enough about every single person who works at this location. Dr. Owens compassionate nature regarding my beloved dogs euthanasia was priceless and made the decision easier to make.
Dr. Pflaum here is excellent. Sometimes the other vets aren't as great, so I always ask for Dr. Pflaum. He's very caring about my pets, and is always very thorough when doing check ups. The support staff are very nice and professional as well.
This has been one of the most positive experiences I've ever had, dealing with a new veterinarian. (Just as a side note, the emergency hospital, up the street by the CVS, ripped my family off using scare tactics and hard selling techniques. At that time, I vowed all veterinarians were thieves, who were interested in only padding a bill, vs providing compassionate, honest care. )
This location was purchased from the doctors who used to run the vet center, years ago. They were wonderful people. When the vet retired, my family didn't think anyone bought the place. We thought it just closed. So, when our departed canine reached his last few, living hours, we were relieved to not be required to go to the thieving hospital up the road. Immediately, the moment the nurse picked up the phone, I could tell this location was different. The nurses and admin staff are so kind, genuinely invested in your concerns. The veterinarians, there are two of them, are energetic and promptly available to handle emergencies. They stopped what they were doing to assess and treat my dying dog, a gentle giant breed. These doctors are very knowledgeable about nutrition, without pandering products they might get a kickback from, like that hospital does. Here's the MOST essential detail-
There were NO surprise charges. NONE. They honor their upfront estimates, for care, and detail every possibility for expenses. You know, before they do anything, if you can afford it or not.
Just as essential is the beside manner of this entire staff. Whether it's a checkup or a merciful medical goodbye, they really make you feel like they care. They talk to you and answer all of your questions, engage in conversation to bring cheer or comfort. No matter how routine or final the event, you leave their presence feeling like you just left mom and dad's house. You feel a little less terrible about a tragic occasion.
My loving canine, Colonel Simba, passed away three weeks ago, today. As sad as the day was, my family was so calmed and comforted, we transferred our other dog to their care. He's getting a dental checkup today.
Thank you, for your decency and kindness. Your compassionate knowledge took the distrust we had for veterinarians, and, changed it into a hopeful connection between our pets, our family, and your clinic.
Found a lost chihuahua brought it there, thought they would hold her or at least call the pound for us, But No, very unhelpful, wanted us to pay for her toe nails to be cut. Couldn't careless about a lost animal,or help us.They just wanted you to spend money. After leaving we drove the area again where we found the dog and found the owner looking for her. So at least we found the owner and reunited her with her dog. I will never take my animals there ever.... SAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.
I first want to say there is nothing wrong with the facility that I saw, and there is one lady at reception who is particularly nice and made our visit a good one. I give them one star only because the doctor (never caught his name, he did not introduce himself, however he is older) was very rude and condescending. This is not the first time he has been this way towards me, but this time he was more rude then in the past which is now causing me to look elsewhere for a new vet.
Very unhappy that they would not give me an idea of what spaying my dog was going to cost without an exam. It was way over priced and of course I declined and had to pay an office visit even though they would not give me a price without one. Every other vet was able to give me their fees. I will not be going back to the thieves at Horizon Veterinary Clinic.
I love the doctors and staff here, they are so kind to our animals. Dr Koster helped save my old kitty when he was really sick and she called to check on him on her off day. We're so thankful for all the staff there, thank you for all you do! :)
So made an appointment for my dog to get her annual shots. Reason for the 3 stars, they charged me for a pet exam when I didnt want it. They should have asked if I wanted one rather than assuming myself and everyone else does.
Had my aussie litters tails docked and the doctor never introduced himself. He cut them all wrong and didnt put sutures in the tails. The puppys screamed in pain for an entire day until i took them to a different vet who docked them properly and told me they werent cut in the right place, there were no sutures, and the bones were exposed and were infected. Not only that but i paid 180 dollars to have the tails docked improperly and unprofessionally at the place that did them right it was 100 dollars cheaper. Then i tried to let the doctor know he had done them improperly and he said he would do research on the subject and call me back. I never recieved a phone call first off, and second your a vet the research should have been done at school the fact he had to do research lets me know he went ahead with a procedure he didnt know how to do. I will never bring my animals back there. Aside from that the staff that works there are great people just an awful very unprofessional doctor. I also had a puppy who wasnt doing very well and asked the doctor to look at him and tell me what was wrong he told the receptionist to tell me he doesnt know and to keep bottle feeding him and that he has a 50/50 chance to survive. Come to find out the vet that did the tails properly doctor flannery at first glance looked and told me he had a cleft palate. This doctor at horizon is a sad pathetic rude excuse of a vet
Dr.flaum is the best vet I've ever been to, I have many pets, and been through many vets I drive from Las Vegas to Henderson because no one comes close to him and his staff, and very reasonable prices I would match the care against any pet hospital any time, he also comes from Henderson to Jones feed in Las Vegas for a shot clinic I give him
Don't tell you prices have changed until after service is provided. Raised prices on life sustaining medicine without notice. Charged over 1,000 dollars for teeth cleaning, called while my dog was under anistethia to let me know price would double. We said to not pull the teeth and we would get a second oppinion the dr said he could not do that and bullied my 80 year old grandmother over the phone to continue the teeth pulling. Charges money to obtain copies of proceedures performed.
Not sure about the new owner ship, seems to be all about money now. I've been going there for 10 years now, the staff was always nice and caring. We will see about the new owners, will update wether I keep going there or not
We've been taking our dogs to Horizon Vet for about 15 years. The staff is so wonderful and caring. Pricing is very reasonable! We would highly recommend taking your dogs there!
