If it isn't one thing, it's another. On two occasions my water has been disconnected - the first time it was AFTER I PAID the bill, the second time was the DAY MY BILL came to the house. To sovle the issue they demand I pay an additional $75 because they had someone come out to my house to correct the issue.
Most backwards technologically delayed, unhelpful customer service. Hopkinsville fitting!

Pay my bill on time for years. Wife transferred all the money out of the payment account accidentally causing our water bill check to bounce. Next day I get a call threatening to cut off my water if the bill isnt paid along with a 50 dollar additional fee. I imagine they deal with a lot of garbage people but treating people like criminals for a simple error is just bad. Doesnt matter though cause it's a freaking monopoly so its not like you can chang providers
The worst water company I've ever HAD to use. I don't use much water at all, in fact, for several months the water had been turned OFF at the main valve since last winter, to repair broken water lines. My bill for those months was still at least $50. They said it was the minimum they could charge me. ...that's a bit too much for trash pick up once a week.
My bill is over $100 some months, and only have the shower n washing machine hooked up. Most screwball system I've ever had to deal with.
I had my water shut off yesterday for a $30 bill I forgot about during Christmas. My water was shut off with NO notice and charged $50 to turn water back on. When I call to complain all I get is that's our policy with NO compassion at all! Not ONE I'm sorry. No we are keeping your $50. What a scam! I have never been treated like this from any utility company in all my 60 years! Is humanity dead?
It's ok but it can do better about letting public know about certain fees before just adding them once system is up fixed an running correctly.
1 star only because zero stars is not an option. Do not expect any customer service from this place. No self serve options. Must call into non caring, emotionally robotic employees for service. They are there for one reason - to take your money. Too bad there is not a choice of water companies so this one could die off like the rest of the dinosaurs.

Not going to go into all the bull we went through with this company, just know the customer service is absolute trash (aside from one woman named Sandy) they violently overcharge for late fees and turn on fees, and if you don't bring them a voided check for auto pay they will shut your water off with no warning and then send a notice afterwards.
I don't really like the way I was treated the first time I applied for Hopkinsville water they told me when I first applied that I didn't have to be homewhen the guy was coming to cut the water on it was only supposed to been transferred over in my name and due to the fact I was not at home from being told that I didn't have to be home they charge me another fee and I didn't like that and for that reason I can't really rate them as far as I'm concerned they have a very very poor rating when I confronted them about being told that I didn't have to be home they acted as if no one told me that I didn't have to be home and for that reason I really don't care for them
Very fast (must go through drive through window) GPS will take you to wrong side of building ull just need to circle the block the entrance is on the backside
They require a ID to pay a bill how rediculous, who cares who pays the bill.
I had a great experience here! The ladies were very accommodating because of my work schedule.
Their offices could use technological updating, though.

So my mom died and it's been an absolutely nightmare getting the water turned back on in my name. I've been living in the same house since high school, but if it isnt one thing its another about proving I live in said house and have been without water for several days now. Also dont email anything to them, because they wont get it.

Rating it one star since that s the lowest you can go. They can t figure out how to send bills yet expect you to get them an unknown amount to an unknown account. They don t offer email notifications that your bill is ready instead they call the day after Christmas as a courtesy call to let you know if it s not paid it ll be turned off. You pay it with a $50 fee for???? A phone call I never asked for. They are unprofessional and it s a loosing battle with them. If we could have a different water service you bet you a$$ we would. If at all possible stay away from this joke of a business. After the last stunt we still don t have a bill for January and it s due in 4 days so we are dealing with a monthly headache of their unprofessionalism.
