Hood River County Library Reviews

It's a wonderful library. Several public computers for use and they have a beautiful patio which overlooks Downton Hood River and The Columbia River.

I came in today to study and take a test online. There was so much noise from the people setting next to me with their cell phones ringing. The man had his volume so loud and all his calls he took on speaker. Needless to say I had to leave because I couldn't concentrate on my studies. I always thought a library was supposed to be quiet. Very disappointing!

Great library. The staff really care about you and the view from the reading area is incredible.

What a nice children's space! The combined storytime today was excellent! Loved the incorporation of the ukelele during songs! Two fun stories were read and they were so engaging and interactive with kiddos! Love that they let the kids play freely with toys afterwards and make a craft. Good job HRCL!

Great place, wonderful people, and great collection.

While I did not go inside (due to covid-19 restrictions) the staff here are very accommodating through their "curbside" services.
