Great place to get your honey! Lots of variety of different types of honey as well as candies made with honey, and a variety of honey mustards.
They also have a bee museum (free) admission and other things for sale in the gift shop.
Friendly staff, incredibly helpful, and the best honey I've ever had. Thank you Honey Acres!
We went here on a family vacation when I was a little girl and went back again last year. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was like stepping back in time - everything was as I'd remembered it!
The museum includes displays on the history of beekeeping, as well as how the processes were and are still done around the world. There's even a live "bee tree" with an up close view of real bees!
They also have a gift shop loaded with honey treats, including (my favorite): dark chocolate honey mints!
Omgoodness.. this place was great.. and of course lots of choices to take some honey products home..
Very cool place to visit with kids, the nature walk was nice, and the museum and store was great.
This was an interesting place. Watch the movie about bees before you go through the museum. Their honey is great.
You can actually see the inside of the bee hive
The museum was very interesting.
Stopped to get some honey candies, didn't know there was a bee museum there. The museum was free and I really enjoyed it!
Yummy honey. All kinds and accessories. Nice parking lot. Easy to find. They have a little tour on bees in the back as well.
Neat ho eye factory, with an interesting honey bee museum.
This is a treasure of a Shoppe to go to.
It was a beautiful drive out there from Ozaukee County.
I saw a segment on TV Fox6 and was happy to have seen it on the news.
The Museum was very nice and well laid out, learned a lot actually!!
Found many items to try at home and also as gifting ideas.
The staff were helpful and extremely friendly! I will be back for more honey items.
I love this place! Fun displays, treats, and safe bee viewing for kids and the museum atmosphere is quite enough that my parents seemed to have fun even when I asked to go there every time, ha ha. My favorite is the clear beehive where you can watch them flying in and out and busy building. My favorite item is the buckwheat honey. It's a sustainable, and important part of the Wisconsin community!
This Bee the worst place to get your honey. Walmart has better honey. Some foreign people own this place. Run like it's a different country. Very poor quality of products. They rig everything to just get it to pass so stupid people buy their products. They buy honey from out of state and country. Bee warned!!!!
Take the kids. Buy some natural honey. Learn a little bit about bees.
Great products and really good people to work with. I highly recommend Honey Acres for your corporate gifting.
This was a really cool museum! Definitely worth the trip from Milwaukee.
We are so lucky to have this gem locally! The museum is very nicely done and quick so Littles don t get bored. We ve been coming for many years and look forward to it every time.
Honey acres was the perfect spot to learn more about how bees prosper. Perfect for kids ages 5-10. They also have a cute retail shop to purchase their honey as well as other honey products.
As a premier corporate gift basket company in Wisconsin, we are always looking for quality products made in Wisconsin. Honey Acres Truffles are a must to enjoy!!! Certified gluten free and dairy free with only 3 ingredients, you truly need to enjoy these healthy, decadent treats. Customer service is exceptional!
Although a basic museum, it was very educational with respect to learning about European honey bees and the production of honey in the US. Personalized attention to go beyond the prepared materials and answer our questions. Working bee hive for observation in its natural setting. Highly recommended for all ages.
Smaller museum, but updated. I learned a lot about bees that I didn't know. Free honey samples.
Great small family owned Honey Farm with a quaint small museum on the history of honey. Very friendly and informative. An amazing amount of information to read throughout the museum. Delicious product's, I can't get enough of their buckwheat honey, rich and robust sweet earthy honey. I never realized how honey could be so complex and varied until visiting here.
Just right now my company and my guys are psinting this place , is beautiful
Family owned and operated for many generations. Very informative. Has a great small gift shop.
Honey Acre's Wildflower Honey is just delicious. I love its strong flavor. Hope to see more product range here in Canada.
I have been going here for 15 years for what I think is the world's finest honey! Also recommend the small but excellent museum of honey attached to the store - admission is free.
Very interesting little museum about bee keeping in Wisconsin. Tasty honey products in the store.
What a great idea nicely executed, they have created a "destination " with a museum that is small but very well done highlighted by a young friendly and knowledgeable woman to answer questions and provide additional insights. Then there is the store. All top notch, reasonably priced and delicious varieties of honey and honey products, i highly recommend this place
1/2 hr. Is plenty. Very educational after a nice drive NW of Milwaukee.
We were impressed with the tour and purchased honey at the end. A few weeks later we were at the Piggly Wiggly in Mayville and I noticed the Honey Acres honey was priced FAR LESS than what we paid for it at Honey Acres. It was the exact product in the same size. My husband contacted them via email to ask them why. Honey Acres declined to comment as to why there was a large price discrepancy. Considering that Honesty is a big deal to me when dealing with a business, not answering the question was as good as lying to a customer. So if you would like some honey Acres honey I suggest you buy it at the Piggly Wiggly and avoid the factory. And if you have a problem with it they don't care. Way to represent business in Wisconsin honey Acres
As always staff was amazing! And the honey is second to none!!!!!
Great place to visit, very informative and amazing products to purchase!!
Interesting place. All sorts of honey flavors. Nice place to show kids where honey comes from. Wish they still had the honey dispenser. Store prices are competitive.
The owner is a great man,he turned this place to a huge success.
Amazing little museum. Lots to learn and great honey!!!!!
Great little museum and honey store! Very educational. We only wish there was a little more to it, but it's a perfect activity for a rainy day.
Great honey and even better people, always friendly and welcoming anytime I visit.
Great museum, great products...But very rude, poorly organized, highly dismissive people "behind the scenes"...
A quaint little store and honey museum. There are free samples to try the different products that are made with honey. My favorite part is the sneak peak in a functioning wild beehive inside the museum. Do not expect to spend more than an hour or so, but it is a interesting insight into the importance of bees in our society.
It was a very informative spot. I really enjoyed it. It didn't cost anything to view the museum. I did purchase some honey though. I highly recommend this place.
