They were all friendly and helpful. I told them what I was needing and what I was able to spend and they were able to give me many options and it was very easy to pay and pick up. Very thankful for homemakers making it so easy!
Great customer service. No high pressure sales. Bought a beautiful area rug that will look fantastic in our new home, we picked it out and told the salesman we were doing more shopping, he had the rug down and rolled ready for us when we finished buying a dining table and entertainment center. Both of our salespersons went all out helping us find what we were looking for. Great selections to choose from. Next shopping trip will be for accent pillows and a side table. Would highly recommend Homemakers!
Ended up back here 3 days in a row for various things I needed throughout the house. I found great deals for furniture, as well as a comforter set which was initially $250, and I bought it for $20 in the clearance center. Absolutely love this place.
Very pleased with shopping trip to Homemakers. Such a great store. There was a question about the price of an area rug we were looking at and they made us an incredible deal. Went around to their pick up area which was very well marked and efficient.
Love homemakers. Always find what I need. Out shopping for a couple recliners because we made the mistake of ordering a couple chairs through wayfair (I m sorry homey baby, she didn t mean anything to me, I ll never let anyone but you furnish our house again) Was in there tonight and found awesome leather recliners. So many options to choose from for recliners and really any home furniture you need. We always shop there. Bryan helped us and he was terrific to work with.
After encountering some issues placing an order online, I called customer service and spoke with Johnny. He was so friendly and extremely helpful and was able to get my order placed and scheduled for delivery just as I d hoped. Exceptional customer service, thank you Johnny!

So many people were around for any questions you may have had. It was nice to be able to check stock, get updated information on everything we had looked at. We were able to make the best decision for us based off of the help of your employees
We recently moved to Des Moines and were looking for a king size bed and mattress for our master bedroom. Greg at Homemakers was so warm and welcoming. He discussed all the available options in detail encouraging us not to rush into picking up something just because it is readily available and pick what we would enjoy having for a long time. He walked us through all the bed options and also helped us find a really comfortable mattress for a good night sleep. I cannot recommend Homemakers and Greg enough for a wonderful customer service and will be buying a lot more from this store.
Terrible customer service. Went in to the Urbandale, Iowa store today hoping to leave with a couch or futon (or at least order one for delivery)...
Instead, all 4 options I asked about were out of stock in store. Floor person didn't even try to offer anything for delivery - nor did they try to sell me anything else in the store.
I even asked if they would sell me a floor model sine they don't have anything in stock. Got a very uninterested "we don't do that" as a response.
Absolutely 0 customer service skills. Absolutely 0 desire to sell anything. Not only was the person "helping" me useless - there were also multiple employees just sitting on furniture relaxing throughout the store.
Frustrating experience. You don't want my money clearly - so why bother even trying to shop with you.
Love this place! We recently purchased a bed in a box and living room sectional. Took the bed home that day and had the sectional delivered. Delivery went so smoothly and the driver was great. Highly recommend this place !
