Home Delivery Link cancelled a Home Depot delivery...

Home Delivery Link cancelled a Home Depot delivery due to snow. Fine, but they waited until half the day was over to do it, and UPS and USPS both made deliveries. Then they told me I had to wait three more weeks for delivery. I got them to agree to let me pick it up at their warehouse. When I arrived, no one knew anything about my delivery, and half of the workers walked away from me when I tried to talk to them. Finally one worker helped me out, found my stuff and helped me load it in my truck. That one guy was awesome. Everyone else was surly and unhelpful.

ZERO STARS. The negative rating for this company sounds right. This company sent a delivery man to our house, who instructed us to "break the brick" so he could "slide" our washer out to replace it with a new one. He insisted that if we didn't, the new washer could not be replaced. So we called a handyman and did exactly that. Turns out the the brick covered a part of our house and this was not needed AT ALL. The second delivery man who came lifted our washer up HALF AN INCH and replaced it. So now we have damages to our house - I called the company and they took NO responsibility AT ALL. Said we shouldn't have taken the driver's advice. I am so disappointed and upset. Not only did we lose money unnecessarily destroying a part of our house, now we have to pay again to get it fixed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I am only leaving a 1 star review to be able to warn others. We paid for the expert delivery of our couch and chair from Ashley furniture through this delivery company.

They are unprofessional and ruined our new flooring. After seeing them scratch out doorway on their way in sliding the box I informed the two men then were damaging our new bamboo floor. We re in the process of selling and that s going to impact our value. They then proceeded to continue to scratch our floor installing the couch and put the chair on top of the scratch and not say a word. As if we wouldn't notice a scratch over a foot long!

I asked the delivery team TWICE to plug the units directly into the wall outlets and not a power strip that was there for other items. They ignored my request both times and proceeded to plug them directly into the power strip not the two specified outlets. They put the couch so close to the wall it could not open. So we had to move the couch when we paid them to.

They had time to try and make the scratches less visible but not time to clean up their mess on our patio.

The delivery team tried to convince me not to report it and their friend would fix our floors and to deal with them directly. I insisted it was reported. When the driver made the call to the center to confirm delivery he tried to say delivery was completed without issue. I chimed in and said no in fact they damaged our floors. I was told that customer service would contact me to file a report. No contact. Two weeks later we escalate to a better business bureau complaint and now they are claiming they didn t damage our floors because the driver said they didn t.

Females be warned: they will try and imitate you to not file a report and completely ignore your requests. The men refused to leave until I said my faincee would deal with it.

Save your money and don't deal with the hassle of an unprofessional and disrespectful company.

Wish I could give negative stars. I ordered a brand new refrigerator through the Base Exchange in August for our new home, (it didn't come with one) and this company is who hired the contractor that delivered it. After delaying my delivery 2 weeks and leaving my family without a fridge it was finally delivered but in the process, the delivery people managed to cause multiple points of damage to my home, ruining my entryway and punching a hole in my wall after removing my front door to bring it in. They installed the refrigerator and left in a hurry which I believe was them trying to leave before I saw the big deep scratch across the front of the fridge. I immediately called the Base Exchange letting them know and they were kind enough to send a couple of their employees to come pick the damaged refrigerator up. Upon their arrival they also saw the damage, but were unable to take the fridge because they are not authorized to remove the door to get it out of my house so they had the same delivery company come and pick it up. I even showed them the damage and they apologized and gave me supervision number. I called them and got no answer so I called the Exchange and they gave me multiple numbers but i was never able to get ahold of anyone after filing the initial complaint with pictures as proof of the damage they caused to my home and the refrigerator. I have been trying to get ahold of someone since the beginning of August, it is now the end of October and I just received a letter letting me know my claim was denied because "the delivery team said they didnt do it and there was no damage to the refrigerator ". Um hello?! I SENT PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE AND OBVIOUSLY THE PEOPLE WHOS JOB DEPENDS ON IT ARE GOING TO LIE. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered and I hope you dont ever have to.

I was a contractor of this company, please, for nothing in the world, use this company to look for work apart from the fact that they are super demanding with the insurance, they charge administration fee for everything and they also do not want the contractors to fight their rights, they have bosses who do not know anything just using the charges to collect money apart they have people who do not treat the contractors well I will not put names why I am ashamed NEVER LOOK FOR WORK WITH HDL THEY STEAL THE BOND WITH ABSURD EXCUSES THAT YOU HAVE BIG DAMAGES THING THAT IS NOT TRUE DO NOT TRUST THIS TYPE OF COMPANIES

They used to deliver for Morris Home Furniture, but they recently severed the relationship because of all the issues, which probably include many like I experienced: Did not arrive on time and scratched up the floors during assembly. But the real kicker is that the delivery drivers DID NOT TELL ME! I discovered the extent of the damages and filed a claim, at which point I was told they'd compare my images to those the drivers took. What? They knew they damaged the floor, took pics, and decided to leave without telling me? I asked Customer Service if they instruct drivers to do this and...no response. Super shady (and illegal maybe?) way to minimize risk on their end.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. After spending about $7K for a sectional couch and some other items, I scheduled my delivery. The delivery showed up and they began to put it together. While struggling to connect the sections they finally got it "looking good". I was happy. Then I sat down on the couch and the 2 delivery guys who put it in had found out that the bracket put on before delivery was 1/2" off and could never connect the sections. Instead of actually fixing it they put the front corner of one section and the back corner of another together and pushed it all together and left. The couch is a joke when not connected! I pulled out a tape measure and confirmed that the bracket was installed incorrectly and the guys who put it together have no way humanely possible to connect. I happen to be an engineer and though not needed it was pretty simple to see that it was put together incorrectly. During the delivery they struggled on this piece and at some point pushed all of it together and insulted us by leaving claiming that all is good. I called Meagan (asst mgr) she claimed that she spoke with the drivers and they claimed that because 4 of us were there and never said anything all was good. Well this was a flat out lie either by Meagan or the delivery drivers. My options given were to sit tight for a few days while their service dept. would call me. I asked to speak with a manager but the manager was on vacation. (of course) She was rude and acted like I did something wrong by admitting that it "looked" good before they left. This company did this knowingly and without any regards for safety or comfort left my house and went on. During the delivery they had to fix a table that was incorrectly built as well and made the comments "we don't get paid hourly, we get paid by the job and the install people don't care". This is a joke of a company with all 1 star ratings and I can't believe that Lazy Boy @lazyboy would ever have them as a contractor. On top of it all . we had to wait about 2 months to get the furniture only to have a company with no regard for quality deliver to us.

DRiver wrecked into our gate and rock fence, causing over $21,000 in damages. DRiver misrepresented himself as a Living Spaces employee. Home Delivery Link contracts out trucks from another company, and then that company contracts out the drivers. Owner of truck and driver will not provide insurance. We are now having to deal with HDL for damages, and @livingspaces #livingspaces is off the hook with no liability, and will not assist with a claim to HDL. Oh... furniture was damaged from wreck, since the driver had nothing tied down in truck.
