We loved our Home Creations home. We were very happy with the value of the home compared to comps and felt that it was built much better than many others we looked at. We lived there for almost 4 years and never had any serious issues. When we sold it, nothing came up on the inspection report. Great home for us as first-time home buyers!

I purchased a new home in Farmington in Newcastle and absolutely love the home, loved the easy process I went through and Brittany Yerby was great to work with! She walked me through every step of the way. I've had some outside service companies tell me that my home in particular was really nice and that the builder has really stepped up their game and I agree!
There is a manhole in my front yard and it caused foundation problems 2 years after we moved in, home creations said the city was responsible and the city said it was home creation responsibility. In the end I had to have piers installed for the foundation. Hoa dues does not do anything to fix the pond in our neighborhood which I was told would happen
I bought my house in March of 2020 well I bought a market home in 2020. They messed up my custom build, so I had to settle for a different house. We ve had nothing but issues including standing water in your back yard. On multiple occasions, 23 days was the longest, mold grew on it. My husband and I have spent about 1,800 so far trying to fix it and we re going to have to add on to our patio to completely eliminate the issue(another 2-3k). When I called the office about flooding issues(three times) all Joan(it s Joe-Ann don t you DARE say that wrong either) will email the owners and that s it, don t expect anything else from her. She had me in tears I was so upset, hurt, and scared that it could cause me to get sick while I was 4 months pregnant. Once I mentioned calling code enforcement magically Ryan was reaching out to me the next day. And then less than 24 hours later, they were replacing the water rotted fence boards, but they still never fulling fixed the actual standing water issue they caused building the house next door to me. But apparently it s 10 ft away from my foundation(it s not 10 ft away) so it doesn t void a warranty. I never once mentioned my foundation. I also was only worried about my family be exposed to the mold growth they had caused. The carpet is separating at every seam and you can feel the tack strip walking through every single doorway. The bathroom towel racks are not anchored to the wall so if you put two regular size towels it will rip out of your wall on it s own. They use cheap plastic mail boxes so your mail will get soaked every time is rains. The crews they hire drink beer on the job and leave their glass bottles and cans all over the ground. Along with their lunch trash. The HOA doesn t pay the water bill at the club house, so it s been shut off two years in a row with a 2,000+ balance. They landscapers do a piss poor job as well. But yesterday I m finally done being silent. The HOA(that s based in Florida) is a joke. Our neighborhood has called and emailed dozens of times over a very very neglected and abused animal living in trash and an overgrown yard. HomeCreations and their lackluster HOA should be ashamed of themselves. You are just as guilty as the previous owners. There s been multiple complaints made by my neighbors in regards to to the 4ft tall weeds, broken fence, and absolute complete disrespect for every single house surrounding them. I was disgusted when I walked over to help save her.
Do not buy a HomeCreations home unless you want to put 5-10k into it within the first two years just fixing what they skimped on.
We bought a home with Home Creations in January. The home building process was overall pretty painless and went well. There were some delays due to COVID-19, I wish they had been a bit more proactive with communicating these delays and issues.
However we have been trying since February to get in touch with our home warranty manager with no luck. We have emailed, called the main office several times, and submitted forms via the website. I feel like we are just getting the run around and I'm highly frustrated. For this reason my review is rated lower.
UPDATED - After posting this review, we were able to get in touch with our warranty manager. Everything has since been fixed and we are good to go.
I can't think of a positive aspect throughout the whole procedure. Mike the sales guy was nice. That's about it. Richard is in the wrong line of work. His customer service skills are non existent. All of my neighbors and I had the same experience with him. Things were not even finished inside at time of closing that had to be on an addendum. That's fine I guess, until it takes months to get a simple sliding door replaced because the wrong size was ordered and had sitting there in the house for weeks before closing. Not hung up mind you. Just leaning against the wall. It couldn't have been checked in that entire time? Now I'm dealing with their refusal to do an 11 month inspection. Apparently a little work done 8 months after we moved in (which finally dealt with items we had from day 1), with a heading on the paper that says "60 DAY INSPECTION" is supposed to suffice as an 11 month inspection. The grading of the land between us and the neighbors on both sides causes a huge runoff even in the most average rainfall we get. It's a river between our houses during a storm. A dryer vent that is on the roof. Who knew? Apparently it's the worst place to put one, and our neighborhood is full of them. It became clogged after 7 months of use. In my previous house of 5 years, never 1 time did I have to clean a dryer vent. As my neighbor said, we just feel like we were duped with a good sales pitch solely to get our $, and after the fact have become useless, or a problem to them. It's like we are just supposed to accept it all as being ok. Would the owner of HC put up with these issues and not want to contact someone to have them fixed? Would you put up with it in your home? Especially a home that you saved and saved and saved up for and saw that large chunk of $ leave your bank account for this level of service after the fact. I think most people that put so much of their $ into a home have a level of pride gratitude to have something so nice that they want to keep it as nice as possible for as long as possible. They just want the people that they did business with to live up the standards that we were sold on. It isn't a lot to ask for, but not everyone can live up to their word I guess.
We bought a Home Creations home for our first house and lived there for three years. The quality build for the price of the home was a great investment and wonderful choice as first-time home buyers. The home had everything we needed and appreciated significantly by the time we had to move because of the quality of the build and market demand for our size home. We moved due to location, but sold our house in a quick two weeks in early 2020. We are now in a different home, which we love, but the flaws of our new home make us realize the quality operation of Home Creations. I've known many friends and family to buy from Home Creations who also love their homes.
Aaron Harris was great to work with, he was very communicative. I feel that Ryan has too many projects which create time management issues. Tom the inspector, was dismissive of my construction knowledge. I have not heard back from Tom regarding the hairline crash in the granite on the kitchen island. He told me I signed off on it at closing so it s not covered. I insisted he speak to the builder because the crack was only made noticeable when I wiped the counter and the wipe snagged on the crack in the granite. The cabinet floor under the sink and the facing next to the dishwasher both have/had issues I believe they dropped the sink putting it in and cracked the granite and broke a 6-8 inch hole in the cabinet floor. In a rush to cover it up they did not attach the facing properly by the dishwasher. Until these issues are resolved completely I cannot give Home Creations a 10 rating. Thanks!
Home Creations was a great company to work with and the sales person was extremely knowledgeable and helped me in every step of the way. Great company in my opinion.
Home creations is awesome! Great quality homes at affordable prices. Our builder Mo was definitely the best in the business. If you are thinking of buying, make sure you check out everything home creations has to offer, because I can guarantee you they have something in your price range!
