We ordered carpet through Home Depot and HOM Solutions installed it for us. The techs were super friendly, fast and clean! The carpet looks awesome, they hauled away all of the old carpet and debris. We couldn t be happier!
I ordered carpet through the Home Depot and this is who is contracted out for the project. The installers were super unprofessional: left cigarette butts in my driveway, did not call to let us know the job was done so we did not get a chance to walk through and approve everything. After installation, we discovered that the bottom half of our corded blinds was missing, so we told our service rep and sent pictures. Michelle in Customer Service called me one evening about 5 minutes before leaving for the night, so I called her right back and left a voicemail...then didn't hear back for at least a month. At this point she said she needed to file a report to her superior, who would either accept or deny our claim. Well, just found out today that our claim was denied because "the cord was already broken"-- BUT IT WAS NOT BROKEN WHEN THE JOB STARTED!!! I just cannot understand how this company would be willing to deny this claim, why not make the customer happy?? Now I need to take the time to call Levolor and try to get a replacement, when it wasn't my fault to begin with. I guess when you contract through the Home Depot, you don't need to have good customer service because most customers don't look into the contractors before ordering. What a disappointment.
We ordered carpet through Home Depot and HOM solutions did the install. They are a local family operated establishment and they did a great job. Clean up was efficient and they helped me move furniture my 9mo pregnant body would not have allowed me to move on my own. We had some issues initially with the install date (it was further out than I expected or anticipated) but they were able to move it up for me and get it done quicker than originally scheduled. Dominique coordinated things beautifully. Grateful for clean new carpet just in time for the new arrival
They installed a floor from Home Depot, they never finished the project and re- installed the toilet incorrectly. I m still waiting for them to finish this project over a month later and now they re not taking responsibility for the damaged floor and subfloor from the toilet. They tell me they re working on it but haven t heard from them or Home Depot in over a week.
What a terrible company. They call the Friday before a Monday installation and said we had to reschedule because the carpet never arrived and they didn't have any information on when it would arrive. I called Home Depot's great customer service support and he actually had proof of delivery that it was delivered and signed by the warehouse manager 1.5 weeks prior.
I called hom solutions with this information and Dominique got very defensive and loud about the fact that what home depot sent them wasn't enough proof that they received it. What.
That's ridiculous. Called back home depot and they were astonished at how this was being handled. Will find out tomorrow if Hom solutions lost the carpet!
After booking I read multiple reviews online and my stomach dropped. I was very nervous about my project being done on time and well. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The scheduler was friendly and responsive when booking the install. The installer was on time, friendly, communicative, and efficient. My stairs look great! I'm a very happy customer.
Juan with Hom Solutuons was amazing! He and his counterpart were very thorough and explained everything they were doing throughout the carpet installation process. They were tidy, respectful and talented. I would highly recommend Juan!
Ordered carpet through Home Depot and HOM Solutions was the vendor for the install. The first sub-contractor they sent was ridiculous. No call the day before to confirm the appointment, no call the day of install to say he was on the way. Sub-contractor wasn t prepared, didn t have a thermometer to check ambient air temp but said it was too cold to stretch the carpet and he wouldn t warranty the work, wasn t wearing a mask. We called HOM solutions, fired this sub-contractor and re-scheduled.
HOM Solutions sent a different sub-contractor on the second date. Mr. Edgar Herrera of Beep Beep flooring & more was awesome. We got the call to confirm the appointment, and Edgar called to say we would be his first stop the day of install. He was on time, wore a mask, and did amazing work. His efforts were five-star and took this review for HOM Solutions from a 1 to a 4. The only reason it s not a 5-star review, they need to do a better job of vetting their sub-contractors. Give Edgar the jobs, he clearly values the work more than the other sub-contractor.
Our whole house carpet install was cancelled 12 hours prior to the day of installation. Broken down truck...aren't able to make it? What??? Home Depot rents trucks, don't they?
Computers disassembled, TV's taken to the basement, furniture taken apart etc, utter disarray that will all be put back once installation is done. What? You can't get us back on the schedule for 2 weeks? Back of the line. What? You are the only installers Home Depot uses in a tri state area? Wow. There is no one, in all the installers you must have ,that can make it before 2 weeks from now?
I never would have thought to read reviews about carpet installers for Home Depot. Sure wish we did!!!!!
We purchased carpet through Home Depot and Hom Solutions was the contracted installer. Jose and his team did a fantastic job, they were professional, maintained COVID-19 protocols, and the carpet looks great. They communicated with us every step of the way, offered us earlier appointment times, and were great to work with. All around awesome experience.
