I ordered carpet through the Home Depot and this is who is contracted out for the project. The installers were super unprofessional: left cigarette butts in my driveway, did not call to let us know the job was done so we did not get a chance to walk through and approve everything. After installation, we discovered that the bottom half of our corded blinds was missing, so we told our service rep and sent pictures. Michelle in Customer Service called me one evening about 5 minutes before leaving for the night, so I called her right back and left a voicemail...then didn't hear back for at least a month. At this point she said she needed to file a report to her superior, who would either accept or deny our claim. Well, just found out today that our claim was denied because "the cord was already broken"-- BUT IT WAS NOT BROKEN WHEN THE JOB STARTED!!! I just cannot understand how this company would be willing to deny this claim, why not make the customer happy?? Now I need to take the time to call Levolor and try to get a replacement, when it wasn't my fault to begin with. I guess when you contract through the Home Depot, you don't need to have good customer service because most customers don't look into the contractors before ordering. What a disappointment.
