Hollywood Casino Joliet Review

Free parking and the hotel was welcoming. Front desk attendants were accommodating and service oriented. Clean rooms were provided and they have a delicious breakfast meals.

I normally don't do this but here we are ...nice and clean , yes friendly staff as I walked in .. far as casino wise this is by far the worse not paying out casino I've been to in years , and most likely won't be back for a long time . I drive trucks and have visited many casino's across the U.S. ... Hollywood get it together not to mention it is a smoke free with smoking patio at lease tho

Not a bad casino. Machines are pretty tight especially since the state has given a gaming license to so many different places now. I'm sure they feel the loss pretty good since that has happened but they were the only gaming place around for a long time and they weren't complaining then for all them years.

Loved it!!! Won lots, nice, clean atmosphere, only complaint is the buffet needs to improve. Had lunch, pizza was burnt on bottom and raw on top, Caesar dressing tasted odd, alot of veggies were overcooked. Best thing was fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Would've been 5 stars if the food was good. And employees were awesome.

Stain on floor of our room, I have seen soup kitchens serve better food and I haven't even started gambling yet

Brought friends from out of town, buffet was just ok. Had some fun int he casino though haha!

The slots are very tight. The personnel aren't very inviting as they walk right past with not so much as a nod when you greet them.

Soundtracks Of A Generation played there, and it was fantastic! Great show, great place! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Terrible, way better when it was Empress. Very institutional like without the mirage of decor.

We like to play on certain machines a lady got off the machine and they're saving it for her they shut the machine down it's been off for over an hour ago I thought the machines are meant to be played on not to be saved.

Used to be good. The machines are tight. They cut back on the quality of food in the VIP Lounge. Room filled with dirty tables with food left from previous guest.

Enjoyed. Good variety of games, eateries and services.

We ate at the restaurant they have, skip the buffet. I paid $11 for a salad, left part of it there, & I was full. The buffet was $15.45, I would have left full, but, when I go out to eat, I want it to relax. The machines were clean, & I won. LoL

Needs to do some updating, roadways and parking pads, no sewers, electrical, no cable, poor wifi, $10 per night resort fee, nice bathrooms.

Very disappointed. I felt like they haven't allowed more people to win jackpot, even they've been going there over 4 yrs now. Nothing!

Smoke free and lots of fun. New games all the time

It's a one drink at a time place. Each person has to get their own drink. Live music, good food. Never hit it big here.

Stayed in rv park, concrete level pads, w &e, easy dump access. $48.00. 38 for camping 10 for resort fee

Slots are very, very tight, food is mediocre.
Didn't have fun because the slots won't let you. points slow to build even when Max betting. .Won't be back Ever, other Hollywood's are not this Tight! !

Clean and friendly. Some were disappointed about not having certain things available for buffet. Although they made up with the games as well as newest look

The food at the steak house was very good and the waitress and the others were amazing. I had a lot of fun playing the Flintstone game.

Nice weekend fun. Staff is very friendly, tables get packed on weekends. If new to games, staff will help you if it s not too busy. Learned how to play a few card games on a weekday.

The slots are very tight, however it's not busy so you get your choice of stingy slots. Ate at the upstairs restaurant. Food was very good, however our server was much to busy chitchatting with her friend to take care of us. Very disappointed.

This place is worth visiting. They have large portions for affordable prices. Consistently neat and with good ambience. Highly recommended.

I had my Dad's 80th birthday celebration at the Hollywood Casino.

Casino was okay Final Cut restaurant was phenomenal try the crab cakes

We visited Hops99. The staff was very friendly. The food & drinks were delicious. The live band was very entertaining.

We were there on a Saturday night, not too busy, food was good, truck parking was great, and Casino was not smokey at all.

The casino was a lot of fun, had a good variety of games, and a nice service staff that served drinks.

Dueling pianos was great. They have bands on weekends. Slot machines and table games are fun to play. The staff is friendly. Buffets and steak houses are here as well.

This casino is absolutely beautiful. I gave it 2 Stars because of the buffet. They didn't have a very good selection at all and you had to pay extra if you wanted a lobster tail. Also when I called before hand the lady said they no longer serve any kind of seafood they stopped 2 years ago but their was shrimp and oysters and that lobster tail. Their dessert was the only good selection. Disappointed for the price.

Business trip one night stay. Wallpaper and drywall seams peeling from wall all over hotel including the room. Holes in ceiling of shower area, previous guests garbage in trash receptacle, "old" smells throughout. Out dated to the tune of 1980s decor and amenities. Casino wasn't much better. Smells like a typical hotel with highly chlorinated pool, except there was no pool. No exercise equipment. And "breakfast" was mediocre at best. Cold after being microwarmed, and yogurt served in an open community bowl with serving spoon, no lid, on ice. Never again will I set foot in here.

Very rich all in the Buffet ,,, and for those who like to play without doubt find fun.

Very dissapponted.Rooms are very old and need repair. Very deceiving,Hotel is not connected to Casino.

Heard from the casino about the RV park but nothing about the poor quality and "not hot" food. Don't know why as I would think that if something is not right with something being paid for and a potential health problem, that would be a primary concern.

I have good time when I'm there win some time but I have fun

Tons of free truck parking! The Casino has three food options; Buffet, Steakhouse, or the Bar.
I ate the California Club at the Bar. Pricey as with most Casinos but very good. I'll return again anytime I'm in the area.

Lost some, won some, simple as that!! There were a few snobby waitresses, but it was easy to ignore them. Our suite was beautiful, and the bed was really comfortable.

Ok for 1 night but really needs a good clean. Food very basic and cold - shame really. Staff nice and friendly in the casino only if you chat first. They looked very bored

A group of us went to Final Cut for dinner. I got the prime rib, and it was great. After we went to gamble, and it was a fun time.

Nice selection today, a bit heavy on chicken with bbq wings, buffalo chicken, fried chicken, and bbq chicken all being offered. But, everything we ate was good.

Its a nice place, never really crowded. Have only eaten a burger there, can't really rate the food. Not a whole lot of table games there, but plenty of slots....easy to get on games there, not like at harrah's. Slots are a little tight if you bet minimum, slightly larger to max bets seem to pay the most. There's always good parking, the crowd is never bad, even on the weekends, compared to other casinos in the area....overall its ok, obviously much better when you're winning just like anywhere else. If you want a little more laid back experience without feeling crowded in then this is your place. Update: we had the buffet here, was one of the worst I've been to by a landslide. There was hardly any food out on display and what was out was absolutely old and visually not safe to eat. I highly advise this place to take example from hollywood auroras buffet. Joliet Epic was absolutely terrible, if it wasn't a free offer I would have complained to someone.

It's a decent casino but the machines are way too loud and the patrons are rude. I find that playing machines at the bar lasts a little longer and more fun.

Top class hotel! Modern rooms and the guys are very friendly. Don t hesitate to book it!

Great buffet, customer service is the best and its clean! Had a great time
