Hollywood Casino Joliet Review

Casino was ok. Buffet looked awesome everything looked fresh and the cooks stayed on top of things that were just sitting. Casino had many slot machines poker tables and at least one black jack table. I wish the gift store actually had something cool for purchase. Plenty of parking and I think they offered a shuttle bus. I did not check out the hotel but the casino is okay.

I've been to Rivers, Harrahs, Horseshoe, and Hollywood Casino. Hollywood is easily my favorite and not because I'm only two miles away. Very reasonable prices on alcohol. Minimum bet at the tables is also reasonable. They usually have a decent band playing I never play the slots, but my dad does and he wins more there than anywhere else. Dealers are always very nice. And as for you guys who are stating that blackjack is not available must've either missed the table predictions reason they just didn't have it there that night. Two reasons I didn't give it a full five stars is because whenever there is a major UFC or Boxing event they are too cheap to order it. Manager told me it cost too much money to order (bullshit). Second is because Texas Hold 'Em table always takes always takes hours to get on Friday and Saturday. I'd like to say the worst casino is River's Casino. So expensive you might as well go to Vegas, bar has no where to sit, club is dead, and it's so packed with slot machines you can barely move around.

Stayed at the RV Park while house being worked on. Great place to stay. Hit the Casino once and doubled my money - $5 in and pulled $10 out.
Visited the restaurants almost daily, and food was great, with friendly staff.

Great place. Great live bands. Casino was comfortable. Alot of obnoxious people, but overall our party had a blast! We all were happy to leave with our winnings.

Dinner at Final Cut was ok. Though I can not figure out why a reasonable restaurant would only give you 1 tiny piece if a miserable vegetable. Now the miserable vegetable was good, but really 1 tiny piece, ridiculous.

You all are getting 5 stars because I had fun winning $300 on Roulette.

Was charged for a room that I already had paid for. All I was told was sorry, it was a mistake and the charge will go back on your card.

Will return loved everything except no pool or gym.

Nice clean buffet good food choices. From salads to deserts you can enjoy lots of goodies something for everyone. Always greeted at entrance with a smile and a good luck. I like that the club membership is located at the entrance so easy to swip and go for all your player's perks.forgot your card no problem get one right ther at the desk. Check points on way out who knows the buffet might be free. Go have fun and enjoy your day.

Went to have dinner there with my company. I ordered a prime rib. It was easily the most tender steak I have eaten. The flavor was superb and the service was equally great. I would definitely recommend The Final Cut steakhouse here for a nice dinner.

Wi-Fi is poor. May as well have been non existent. No microwave in rooms.

In addition to the huge lot to park your semi truck and trailer the Casino is beautifully decorated feels like old time Vegas...great food, staff and almost always come out with more $$$$ then what we went in with. Love this place and we've been all over the United States

The Hotel also has an alleged RV Park attached to it. We put our unit in the Rv Park. Check in was at the hotel front desk and was unfriendly to say the least. They also don't follow ADA, so if you're disabled, expect to have a walk to get in the hotel to check in.

The Rv park has no onsite waste dumps and no cable. General site conditions were poor. They have a shuttle with a singular interest of getting you to the casino. Internet was fair.

Without major improvements, this campgrounds a scratch.

What a great RV park, touring America and Canada one RV park at a time

We stopped in for the lunch buffet on a Thursday and were pleasantly surprised. I would compare the food to that of a wedding ( one where you didnt complain about the food). The dessert wasnt all that great but I ate my weight in mashed potatoes prior to so it wasnt such a loss....

The one in Aurora is bigger and way better. Not a good selection of slot machines. The tables were empty.

We stayed at the hotel for a night and enjoyed a safe evening in the casino.

The Blackjack dealer was awful! No eye contact...no interaction...no encouragement...Gives you every reason not to come back!

It alright to go and sat for a couple hours. But some of the machines need to pay out. Dang spent two hundred dollars and won back &30.:00 come get real. Give a person something to play back on.

It's ok. Not many wheel of fortune slot machines which I love (also a fave of many other people I know) and the layout is sort of odd in the casino area. Otherwise plenty of parking, has always been very clean, and staff is polite. Also wish there were a couple more blackjack tables on the lower end scale there's only 1 during the week and none on the weekends lowering than 15$/bet. Overall fairly nice casino compared to the riverboat in Peoria, IL.

I called the police and told them they robbed me they said I shouldn't hang out and bad neighborhoods

Was fun. Machine I was on was keeping it just above the amount I put in. Played for hour and a half on same machine.

Great place with plenty of truck parking. I love trucker friendly places. The comps are awesome too!

This place is a wast of time and energy. It used to be fun ,but now they just take your money.

The machines are not updated and don't pay out. It was very slow

I have been to the Hollywood Casino many times and played the slots. The machines very rarely payout anything at all over $50 and you're lucky if you get that. The alcoholic beverages are very expensive and the waitresses don't come around very often. I'm not impressed at all. I say don't waste your money there. I'm going to try Harrah's Casino and see what it offers.

No smoking have great coffee but the machines are too tight

Buffet sucks food is not prepared well. The only thing that made it ok was the price. Not alot of options either.

Wonderful rv park in close to all the action. Woods surround rv park you almost forget you in industrial area. If your rig is big or small you fit in at this place.Easy place to get into with big rig, if you can't get a pull through any outer loop site that has 50 amp looked like it could take a 45 foot coach. The outside loop sites the concrete was short but since it was dry no problem back off the edge and lots of rv's doing it. You are in a busy area but with all the trees surrounding this place it almost felt like the country, I was surprised. Most of the sites good for sat but of course the one we had blocked 129 but no problem missing the HD. Oh if you are into water parks at the back is a trail that takes you to Splash Station. We stayed a couple of days for business in area it was convenient and enjoyable. Plenty open area for the dog. All the outside loop had trees at back of space so the campers with smaller rigs felt at home. We'll go back some day.

Nice place but employs a dirty tactic. I'm a professional gambler and they play the sucker game. If you get past one or two thousand some random idiot follows you from table to table wrecking the cards on purpose. Other than that this place is very legit. Don't display a stack of chips in order to walk out with plus ten thousand or more

The worst and most thirsty casino I've ever been to!! Will never go back and would never recommend it to anyone!!

Very clean, quiet RV park. Nice level paved parking pads. Water and electric at the site. Have to use dump station for empty tanks.

Wife and I always have a good time here. We are not the biggest gamblers, but play a few slots. We really enjoy the steakhouse here (reasonable and very good). The casino is reminiscent of those in Vegas, it is huge with plenty of free parking. They also have a nice hotel in walking/driving distance (they also have a shuttle from the hotel to casino). Again, rooms are clean and reasonably priced. They used to have Valentine s Day weekend packages, wish they would bring those deals back. Other than that, I have no issues. Great place!
