Hollywood Casino @ Charles Town Races Review

Fun place. Not always a winner but today Charlestown was good to me. Thank you

The food bar was good the machine spend 2 fast taking all ur money even on a penny one

Compared to any other casino in the area, the Hollywood Casino in Charlestown, West Virginia is the best. All of the staff, from the pit bosses, to the dealers, to the cocktail servers, and everyone else is much friendlier and more accommodating thang place else I've been. The only criticism that I have to say, is the lack of full tables in the poker room. That's not their fault however, as they offer high hand bonuses and a bad beat jackpot. In other words, they are doing what they can but there's still only 5 or 6 full tables on a week day. They still deserve 5 stars!

If you want to go make money then go cause the way they running this gig right now they only care about taking your money. I was trying to go and have some fun but every single table was $50 minimum. With stakes that high they had the nerve to leave tables empty with no one working them. So most people can only hang around tables and watch while a few play. I understand they just opened up but man...at lease put up a front and act like you care whether or not people are having a good time. I will not be coming back for a while.

Sucks, don't even let you play. Run $40 in a slot, dont hit anything.

Yuck smoke fest. Never win here, then need to launder clothes from every cigarette smoke piled on. I'll stick to Maryland live.

Sports book could use an app, lines are crazy long on Sunday for football.
You can go to PA and bet online.

Heather, manager, just nasty. They were having issues with register. Told her I am diabetic and needed my drink. She sent me to another location and it took me 15 min to get my personal pizza and then it was cold

This place is always fun to visit! They have an awesome varied slot machines and table games. They also have several decent food options. Definitely try your luck here!

Needs better smoke eaters if you are going to allow smoking indoors.

If you like gambling go to Rocky Gap instead. I have been here several times and guarantee you will regret coming here. If you happen to find a reasonably priced table, the price will go up after a few people join the table. Very poor management and worth the extra mileage to go somewhere else.

Best poker room east of the Mississippi river Mr. Kim, Justin, and Jen are just 3 of the wonderful people in the poker room who make you feel like you are at your own home game.

Big casino with excellent variety of shots and table games. Fair payouts.

Bartenders and counter staff rude and very much into "rules". Seemed scared to lose their jobs if they didn't follow and enforce rules. Dealers were nice. Drinks expensive and not plentiful. Will not return.

Great place they will take all the money you want to leave. It is very nice place.

Great place to spend a couple hours. Fully equipped for all types of casino fun including poker rooms, horse racing and shows with national known acts.

Was there with friends for New Years Eve. Very busy live band lots to do.

STAYED THERE FOR MY BIRTHDAY APRIL 19TH. Really impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. Great pillows and really quiet. Breakfast????......would have liked some bacon and sausage. Overall, great stay and shuttling to the casino.

Nope I do not hated this place,it is a place for relaxation,a lots of machine to choose to play,they have a reward for your card,they have good courts also that you can choose to eat,I still like the Epic Buffet..

They have this "Tuesday Madness" program which starts at noon and ends at 10 pm. You swipe your card and you could get free slot play. Here it is 12:30 and the kiosk is still not working. It's not the first time!

Best place to spend a few hours and have a good time.

A fun way to spend the night if you're only going to spend a couple dollars. I'd recommend the horse races to anybody.

Food quality at the buffet has dropped watching the ponies. Still super fun and friendly.

The casino I will never visit again I want to know if they dont believe that second hand smoke is dangerous the hold concept is a disrespect to the health of the non smoking patrons. The best machines are at the smoking area which is filty. The cleaners my praise to them try their best four stars to them but if you want the old time bar feeling with people spitting throwing their cigerette butts on the floor. This is for you

The buffet has gone down so much it is not worth the price. 30 dollars for hardly any food that has not been setting for some time. The chicken looked like it was from the day before. A very disappointing trip. thanks

The Inn at Charles Town Races was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and well capable for their jobs.
