We had a great stay at this hotel. It's so conveniently located and priced we could not of been happier. It's a little dated but I couldn't care less if the thermostat is from the 80s. It's about a 4 minute walk to the metro and 10 minute walk to Georgetown across the bridge. The view from outside our room was nice. The breakfast was okay, not the best not the worst. Everyone was extremely friendly and accomidating. We loved being able to park at the hotel before we checked in so we could roam the city for a while. It is $20 a day but compared to hotels closer to the city this is cheap. We will be back!

The hotel is very business like and not a leisure hotel as the name suggests. However, they do have an awesome view of the Potomac from the 13th level bar. Prices are not outrageous but you may get a sticker shock on some all time favorite snacks, so read the menu carefully.

Front desk service was great. My only complaint is the layout of the building is quite confusing and the elevator situation. Everytime we went to use the elevator, it took about 5 minutes to get one to us. The restaurant is on the 17th floor (top) and when we left breakfast around 9am there was a crowd of around 25 people waiting on the elevators. There's 4 elevators but it's slow. The stairs were also hidden behind an Employees Only sign.

The place is quaint and hence also needs a little rework. The equipment is old and doesn't function well. The AC/ Heater has the oldest thermostat. The beds were supposed to be Queen sized but in reality they're a little wider than a single sized bed. No quilts on the beds, just simple bed sheets during a cold winter. The water from the water fountain wasn't purified, causing throat infection.

They need an overhaul in every aspect.

My wife and daughter are staying there now. Horrible customer service. Water was shut off during the night from 11:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Then only cold water from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. With no offer of a refund?????

Very pleasant stay. Polite and knowledgable staff. The bellman, Norman was invaluable as my husband is disabled, and the 17th Fl Dining room Manager was very gracious and hospitable. The food was delicious! Older facility but an excellent choice. I recommend it.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to the Metro for easy access to DC and the sights. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. The room itself was adequate, could have used a fridge for our beer and refreshments but there was plenty of ice to do the job.Could use more water pressure and the air conditioning was a little loud.Overall I would recommend this hotel, the price is good and free parking and great staff made for a pleasant experience. Also if you like watching airplanes this is the place to be

I liked staying at Rosslyn, it's clean, the team was pretty friendly (we arrived a few hours before the check in time, but they let us park the car at hotel parking so we can do some sightseeing), close to the airport, if you don't want to walk downtown, a public shuttle bus stops on the street close to the hotel.

Would never stay here again. Made reservation 6 weeks ago. Paid for room with 2 beds. 2 women traveling. Arrived after 13 hour drive, very uncaring man at front desk says, your reservation doesn't say you get 2 beds we are booked and no rooms with 2 beds are available. Show the man that we did have a booking with 2 beds and made it 6 weeks ago. He didn't care. We ended up in a room with 1 bed and a roll a way. Not what we paid for at all. The room is not big enough for roll a way bed. Very tight fit. 2 very unhappy woman.

This place is better than I thought, but it is a place where you have to wait for a long time to get in touch and ask for a deposit back. It is still about a month, but I can not get it back. I am weary of consuming precious time for role as a relay between this hotel and my credit card company.

It s one of the more reasonably priced hotels in the area but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Room: We stayed in two rooms. Beds for both were comfy but bathrooms were small and dated. It s disappointing when you re on holiday and your own apartment s bathroom is nicer than your hotel s.

I also don t like the sight of a bible when I open the bedside table. Last I checked, this is not a religious institution.

Wi-Fi: Complimentary but connection is slow and frequently interrupted. I had to log back in several times over the course of two hours.

Service: No complaints during check-in and checkout but room transfer was a real pain. The staff we talked to initially confirmed that we can transfer the next day. When we called first thing the next morning, the staff on duty was the least bit helpful. She wouldn t confirm anything and insisted we call back by noon while we were out and about. We did but we didn t get the confirmation until we made another call two hours later.

Location: Within walking distance of a subway station.

Parking and breakfast: Not included in the room rate. Parking was $20 per 24-hour periods.

Booked this hotel online and came with free buffet breakfast in the restaurant. Staff was extremely friendly and spoke to each of our kids at the table to see if they wanted something in specific. The beakfast was excellent quality & had a vast variety to pick from including a granola/yogurt bar. Children eat free at dinner with paying adults. The dinner quality was not as great as breakfast. Cafe inside, Indoor pool with lounge chairs and tables. I was very happy there was a full time life guard of duty. Very close to the Metro station so you can quickly travel to the National Mall. Will definitely stay here again.

1 block from Metro. Our room was never cleaned adequately. A peanut was on the floor from the time we checked in until we checked out. Pool was nice. Planes fly overhead-great white noise.
