Bahia Logde do Pestana is simply a dream, everything very clean and organized, a wonderful environment to relax, with a beautiful restaurant with panoramic sea view, in a great neighborhood. Loved it!

The hotel is clearly decadent, with poor maintenance. The breakfast and excellent. The lodges are huge! The views and pools are great.

I stayed at the hotel for a short time, but I could see two terrible situations. The first was an elderly couple who were checking in and were warned that they were in the wrong eyelash, and that their reservations were at Pestana do Carmo, in the historic center. In other words, even tired, they had to wear an extra half hour until they reached the exact place.
And the second situation was even worse, put involved police. It was a young girl who had been waiting for her position for more than three hours, the problem being that there were no more places in the hotel.

Lousy service, old infrastructure in need of major renovations, super expensive gourmet style lunch and dinner. The only thing that saves is the pool. Poor cost benefit. Wouldn't go back!

The place is nice but conservation is neglected. From painting to furniture and flooring, they are often broken, peeled or showing time marks.

It has a pool but I did not use it, old elevator, restaurant a disaster, minibar stocked, water 8 reais, check out with queue, reasonably priced breakfast, amazing view, white water in the bathroom, dirty bedding and trays, some staffs to be desired. I don't think I'll ever go to a hotel to have such an amazing room, spacious room, huge and very comfortable bed, bathtub, balcony overlooking the pool and sea ... wonderful infinity pool ... unparalleled employee service. Excellent breakfast. Chocolate and Regiane are very helpful and attentive.

Possibly the best located hotel in Salvador. But the state of conservation of the common areas is bad. Dirty walls with plaster falling, dirty glass, broken plinths, swimming pool with several tiles missing, no shop operating in the area intended for stores, water leaks, in short, the list is long. It may be pricy, but I think a hotel of that category should pay more attention to those details. The state of conservation of the rooms is more or less, but not excellent. I had a water leak in the bathroom in my room at 4 in the morning, which was an inconvenience. The staff are attentive and helpful. For lack of care and maintenance, it looks like the hotel will close for demolition in the coming weeks.

Very pleasant experience to take a break from day to day. The accommodation was good as was the breakfast and the outdoor areas (pool, gym, jacuzzi). It fails to communicate with guests and often in the professionalism of the staff that a space of these, we mean Pestana, has accustomed us to having. As for example, they deny the customer a phone call to the kitchen two minutes from closing (already early enough, 8pm) because of a hotel party (February 2) which by the way was the purpose of many people there.

Great hotel, in a privileged location, the view is wonderful and the service is impeccable, the hotel is a little old, but has some renovated categories and the suites are beautiful. It is also worth visiting the Pestana Bahia Lodge, which is next to the Pestana Bahia, an urban resort with an incredible infinity pool, I certainly recommend it.

The cabins are great, very spacious and amazing view, the cleanliness could be better and the structure also so needs repairs but overall we had a good stay.

Look, my husband and I were at the hotel looking for comfort and sophistication.
Good 5 stars he called in my point of view the infrastructure for 5 stars should be better. I didn't like the bathroom.
Another thing very expensive things a canned beer costs 12 reais.
a real 5 rsrs water and so on.
But the rest is an excellent hotel, let's say 4 stars 5 is still far from it.
The location is great. Since in Salvador the beach is complicated for swimming. we have to leave the city.

Wonderful hotel! Impeccable service. We were very well received. The room very cozy, clean and organized. The bed is super comfortable and spacious, two bathrooms, one with bath. Air-conditioned room. The whole structure of the hotel is great, an infinity pool with incredible sea views, excellent breakfast with many choices and for all tastes. Well located with restaurant, banks, laundromat close by. Besides being close to the Mariquita square where you can find lots of fun and cool places for a happy hour. Excellent exceeded our expectations! I recommend
