Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto is must visit place...

Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto is must visit place if you are a hockey fan. Especially when I lived in Edmonton during the 80s and seeing a team like Edmonton Oilers, featuring the legendary no. 99 Wayne Gretzky, breaking all kinds of record and eventually led the team to lift the Stanley Cup right at Northland Colisum in 1984, their fifth year in the NHL. Gretzky, together with star players like Mark Messier, Glenn Anderson, Jarri Kurri, Paul Coffey, Grant Fuhr, Kevin Lowe when they formed the nucleus of Edmonton Dynasty, winning 5 Stanley Cups in 7 years. This is indeed one of the best team, if not the best team ever, that had played in the NHL. It is so exciting to see Gretzky, Messier, Kurri, Coffey being inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The other team that I like, of course, is the 1972 Team Canada, when they won the Summit Series over the powerful Soviet hockey team, and winning the last game in Moscow, scoring THE GOAL by Paul Henderson in the last moment of the game to win it 6:5. Although I never got a chance to watch the series live in Canada, I was still so excited watching the documentary of the Summit Series after so many years later. Paul Henderson is still not a member of the Hall of Fame, but his goal --- probably the most important goal ever scored in the hockey history, will forever remembered by all Canadians.

such a cool place for a hockey fan. Lots of things to see including equipment and jerseys worn by your favourite players. They have a really cool goalie helmet room, a huge trophy room where the original Stanley is and so much more. Go check it out. It's located underneath the "Spirit of hockey" store...I only say that because it isn't super clear where it is located when you walk into the area.

Nice display of past and present players from all across the country. A bit disappointed with the lack of display and presentations. There was a small section of goalie masks. But, nothing to elaborate on the position. In fact, there was barely anything for goalies. There was a huge focus on Howe, Gretzky and the dynasty of the Canadiens. The theatre was less than entertaining. The games for both adults and kids was a great idea ... unfortunately, the level of play was so far advanced that it really wasn't fun for the kids. The goalie section shots were light speed that you can barely make a save unless you study the shots, which takes away from the fun. The shooting screen were just as bad as the system was not very accurate. Overall, it was a good experience ... I, at least visited it once. Disappointed with the lack of display and the history of the game. I found the baseball HOF more entertaining. Plus, the hassle of it being in downtown Toronto did not make life any easier.

We absolutely loved this place one of us on a 1st visit the camera was out pretty fast and we both loved getting to see the Stanley Cup. We both took a ton of pictures. It was getting a little too busy but it was luckily when we were leaving and some of it closed off due to an event but There was still so much to see and do... So much history it is really an amazing place. The staff were also fantastic and very helpful to making sure I got around alright in my chair and did not need anything. The 3D movie was absolutely amazing. I wish it was longer!

Great place for those who like hockey. 3D theatre was very cool. Make sure to bring coins with you because the vending machines are coins only. It can get extremely hot there. Huge lineups on the interactive games. The Cam clips can sometimes have email broken links.

Get past that the entry is in a food court in the bottom. This is an awesome visit for any hockey fan. So many relics of the past - jerseys, locker room set ups, interactives for the kids. The goalie mask exhibit also made me cry. And its the hockey hall of fame, so you get international stories, famous womens hockey games. But then you get to the trophy room. Vezina trophy. The Hart trophy. The cup. What an amazing gem of a museum and worth every penny.

We visited the Hockey Hall of Fame while on vacation in Toronto and had a great experience. We visited on a weekday at the end of October and the place only had a few people - not crowded at all. I d read mixed reviews about the size of the museum so I didn t know what to expect but I was really impressed with the collection! It was a really fun experience and I learned a lot. Plus the simulator game was a lot of fun! Definitely worth the visit.

I expected this place to be bigger as it is a hall of fame when actually it's a basement of stuff. They have some really cool stuff in here but more interactive displays would help immensely. They said the tour takes about an hour and a half but we were about 45 mins.

Lots to see here. Could definitely spend a day. Lots of interactive things to do. Was hard to find at first as it's on the bottom floor. Spent quite a bit on souvenirs upstairs after, which are surprisingly not outrageously priced.

It was cool to see but admission is way over priced and the museum was kinda small. I was there on a Monday and felt like 5:00 was too early to close especially with it being located in a big tourist spot.

This was the highlight of an amazing trip to Toronto. I could've spent 2 days at the hall of fame. Tons of cool exhibits with many that were interactive. Loads of information and history. Every though there were lots of people there, it didn't feel crowded, and you could move freely. If you're a hockey fan this is a must see! It's located in the heart of downtown, near many other great attractions.
