Not without reason in the rankings up front!

Not without reason in the rankings up front!

Whether the food in the cafeteria is good or bad, let's face it. For me it is important that you can learn from good people. The HTW is a comparatively young university and has nevertheless managed to play in the lead at the top. Of course you can also do a bad study here if you do not come and do not feel like it.

Very good alternative to the SRH in Berlin. HTW offers a free bachelor's degree in business administration and a free master's degree in business administration. I can only warmly recommend her. The contact with employees was also very friendly, so that I would be very happy to study here. A change to a higher semester is also possible. The connection with the U5 is also very good, so that you can reach the university from almost all of Berlin in half an hour. The modules offered are also very suitable for studying business administration. Do not study at a private one in Berlin, because the quality that is conveyed is insultingly low. In addition, the HTW campus is very modern and student-friendly. The HTW is an excellent alternative.

The campus is developing very nicely - the old industrial architecture looks great. The old crane house was also converted into a cafe. The teachers are relaxed, despite the huge stress.
Thank you for the nice experience!

Don t waste your time and money on such a place. I have sent an inquiry followed by all my certificates and transcripts asking if I fulfill their MIDE masters program s requirements and they responded saying yes, so I prepared all my documents, spent a lot of effort, time and money, made sure that everything is as they requested, sent my certificates by mail, and applied online. Just to receive an email saying that I don t fulfill the program s requirements and the employe who told me that I can apply was wrong. Just like that!!

I could not stand it for more than 1 semester. The lecturers and professors were from very very good to rather moderately suitable. The campus is small, gray and not very nice. The level of fellow students (BWL) was more than mixed. When it comes to organizing for (new) students, it is relatively easy to deal with as long as you have no questions about the extremely good, automated processes. As far as the service is concerned, however, you will not find words anymore. Never to reach and if you have someone on it, you realize that you could have saved the effort and should have contacted the university in writing. I just wanted to get a copy of my Ex- and Imatrikulationsbescheinigung (at the University of Cologne with 50,000 students, for example, no problem) and have me for two weeks with pure incompetence rumbled around, for a simple, already existing document 6-7 (!) pay what I had to pick up personally (other institutions send it to you by mail per e-mail within hours) before it was in the meantime 3 (!) Weeks and way too late in the mailbox.

The service is grotty bad, no one ever answers the phone, and if it does, it is an incompetent service member who has not the slightest idea what it is talking about.
Wrong information and long waiting times are just the beginning of a long list of detoxes awaiting you here.

At the HTW I was a lecturer in fashion design with two class leaders for a few years, it was a really great time for me. The professors, lecturers and students were very nice. I am happy to make a recommendation!

Pure disappointment! Not recommended! Incompetent!

During the office hours for applications, which can only be reached by phone on Thursday, nobody answers.

I applied to the HTW. I met all the requirements and had a very good certificate from the FOS + training that was relevant for the course. However, I set a wrong check mark when registering. Changes were not possible via the Internet browser, so I added a note when I submitted the documents. However, it was not accepted on the grounds that my certificate is not attached. Unfortunately, this justification does not apply.
Changes should only be possible on site.

When I was at the university to clarify the matter, I was 1. received in an unfriendly manner 2. badly advised.

I was told to register next year. However, this is not necessary as I already have 4 other commitments.

Conclusion:
I absolutely cannot agree with the good reputation that the HTW represents. On the contrary, due to the unprofessional nature and what happened, I would even advise against it.

In the reviews here, I notice that only a few write what they study. I think that is very important because the HTW consists of different campuses offering different study programs. I'm studying Communication Design at the Wilhelminenhof Campus and that's great.
The following points reflect my personal experience.

1. Rooms are new and well equipped. There are many laboratories where equipment can be used e.g. Printing studio, photo studio, analogue photo studio, Mac computer studios (with, for example, graphics tablets) etc.

2. You can be introduced to many devices / for many rooms and use for projects. Also, rooms by the industrial designers and fashion designers (e.g., laser engraver, 3D printer, printing studio, photo studio, sewing studio).

3. There are interesting courses to choose whose topics change every semester. Courses are usually between 15-20 people. (Except courses with basic knowledge transfer in the first two semesters).

4. There is no compulsory attendance.

5. Profs and lecturers are committed, professional, very nice, personally approach everyone and know you. They leave a lot of freedom in creative processes and take each idea for a positive first, but always give very helpful reviews.
Course of the courses is usually like this: The students introduce each week their processes and ideas and then jointly questioned, criticized and it is determined what you work until the next week. That is not mandatory. Who has nothing, does not introduce. If you do not want to come, do not come - but learn nothing.
The courses are after the basic study (first two semesters) mostly exercises instead of readings. Profs and lecturers show and then rather briefly in between things to frequently occurring problems, core questions, etc. instead of the whole course long presentations down to loud. Or they set up the course so that at the beginning of the semester (or at the beginning of each course date) theoretical things are treated more briefly.

6. Students are nice and helpful. Class-like associations arise. You know his people. But you can also just come in contact with people from other semesters.

From the point of view of media informatics everything is top. Great campus (Wilhelminenhof), fast on a beer on the Spree, dedicated lecturers, never had problems with the administration or similar. had, interesting and favorable sport offer e.g. Sword fight: D. The best thing about studying: You can simply take optional elective courses from applied computer science and this will be credited automatically without any paperwork. That simply doubles the specialization possibilities. And in the courses you come from my experience also pure. Master finished soon and can not really report something negative. At most, that the VL rooms are partly furnished somewhat Spartan.

I studied at HTW and was very happy with the education. Teachers are sometimes not great to be honest, but that pales in comparison to the teachers at a private college in Berlin. In contrast some of the teachers are very good and run great lectures.

I can fully recommend studying business administration at the HTW Berlin. Above all, the deepening in the area of taxes gave me an irreplaceable basic knowledge in this area thanks to exceptionally competent lecturers. You decide how much you take with you during your studies. If you wish, you can learn a portfolio of tools here that will later make life easier in many areas of the economy. However, the basic requirement is an interest in the subject rather than just looking at future salaries. I enjoyed every day.

It's like kindergarten. The lecturers oblige the students to attend and, to everyone's disgrace, have no idea how to give lectures. Here even whole laws are read to the "audience" as in a reading lesson. They rest on their professorship and see no need to change anything. So I pull my master through, but it is recommended only the Mensaessen.

Literally trash, I went there to get information about the international students, first I checked out at what times can I get a personal talk then I went there to the room number 151 at the the time which was given to me, the woman who works there didn't give me any single information, as I explained to her that I speak German fluently, instead she sent me to the room number 038 and I had to wait one hour to talk to the person there, the woman who works there has the bitchest face I've ever seen, she even didn't talk to me face to face but she was working on the computer while I was explaining my situation then she told me to open the website and I will find the informations.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time by going there.
By the way, on the next day I went to The "BEUTH Hochschule " without any appointment and I got all the informations I need as the staff there are so friendly.

Some female lecturers award the grades extremely unfairly based on sympathy and mood. There is racism in some subjects and you don't want professional success for students. You let some students fail to feel powerful. One on "Either you are afraid of me and do what I say or I give you a 5.0".
And yes 5.0 is often given to students here. Many fellow students were often threatened with 5.0 or simply given.
When hiring lecturers - one should first extremely check them for tolerance and respect for the students. If lecturers love a job, then they only want the best for their students and not that someone fails or that they argue with you.
I'm studying here and that's the truth. Many of my fellow students are afraid to write it here, but since I cannot keep this hate secret - one should expect that before applying here.

Little appealing university, unfortunately both visually and personally.
Partly very disorganized. Ex .: There is only one (+ UG) overpriced cafeteria on the campus, no cafeteria. In terms of taste, in my opinion, the prices hardly worth it. This leads to long waiting times and additionally students occupy a nearby school seating.
The staff is partly friendly, but you often enough on demotivated staff, the students hardly willing to help, although this would be part of their job.
The lecturers work either on sleeping pills or on coke. A mediocre is looking for here usually in vain. The semester fees are relatively high.

Dedicated teachers, to some extent technology. Media teaching methods should be worked on, apps missing, for example, which is sad for a university of technology and business. There should also be more opportunities for business contacts. Student self-representation and courses are very good and there is constant work on expanding and converting.
