Such an outstanding place! Old English style bar and restaurant. It's even a romantic place. Very gay friendly in the heart of Portland. Parallel parking for free after 7pm. But careful, towing each Fri and Sat night from 10pm on!

We ate dinner here. The staff was great, especially Chad. We loved the atmosphere, and the food was very good for the price. We had the nacho. Its the best nacho we have ever had. We live in McMinnville, but will definitely eat here again soon.

Waiststaff was a bit distracted for there to not be many people there, but friendly. I arrived at about 7:30pm, but by 9:30pm a do arrived and it has Moe of a lounge feel. Music was a mix of Weekend, and other current r&b singers. I'd definitely return!

This bar has a mellow feel, is welcoming to all colors of the rainbow, has awsome happy hour food specials, great drink selection, and 2 pool tables.

Cain (hope that's right) was alone tonight 10/2 when normally their's 2 bartender-servers. He ran his tooshy off while maintaining composure to be able to continue offering pleasant and efficient customer service. Hats off to you young man! If I ran a restaurant I'd want to poach you.

Didn't spend much time here. We were meeting for the tunnel tour Sunday evening. Bartender was quick but also laid out several loud f bombs while conversing with patrons. The place was empty except for tunnel tour folks so his loudness carried easily and people did have their kids too.

Free pool during the week except Mondays a league tournament meets. Great social event space in an historic and haunted location...Huge vaulted ceilings, two dining rooms over looking the main floor, fireplace, piano bar and DJ on the weekends. Great mixologists! No cover ever. Wonderfully creative holiday brunch and dinner menus. Video Poker Machines that seem to hit big and there is always a machine available. I live this place, my favorite week day hang out and my favorite weekend Mixologists.

Our server was incredibly impatient and rude. Literally was storming away from our table with a huff mid our sentences and ordering. Ignoring us completely and then making jokes when he felt like talking to us. But when he talked to us he had no concern of asking how our food was, filling up our waters, or grabbing the tarter sauce we asked for five times. Really only to make jokes that might have been funny had he not been being so unkind. Then he kept touching me every time he came over, and I gave no indication that that was okay. I will say he was very attentive to my food allergies and that was nice. I've worked in the food industry for a long time, and I'm the first to be understand that serving is really challenging. Customers are really challenging. Esoe silly if you've been doing it a long time like I sense that he has. We were very nice even though he yelled at us 10 mins after we sat down. No joke. Yelled /raised his voice/ snapped at us, because he was having a hard time hearing. Food was blanned, drinks were meh. Not bad but not worth the price. The server we had was an older, bald, angry man who rolled his eyes a whole lot. We went there last night, Saturday the 25th. Hobos, this server is losing you business.

While enjoying a drag show and cocktails at CC Slaughters around the corner, I felt hungry. I used my YELP app to see what food was nearby. I stumbled upon HOBO's and they offered YELP cash back 7% (which didn't credit) so we left, walked the two minutes and to Hobo's we go!

Walking in, the ambiance is classy, dark, and quiet. There was one other couple in the back and a group of fellas came in toward the end. The food wasn't what I was looking for late night drunk food and pretty pricey for being in a state of mind that wouldn't truly appreciate the craft. The bartender was the only employee that I saw the entire time I was there. He was the bartender, waiter, and hostess.

We did order two cocktails, I ordered a hot toddy and the other one, I have no idea because it wasn't mine and well, let's face it, it was pretty good that I even remember what I ordered! The drinks were enjoyable, and this place allowed us to recoup, warm up, and prepare for the next round of Portland fun!

Hobo's, I promise you that I will come back again-- pre-night out and eat your food!
