I love coming here. There are really no BAD seats. If having a partially obstructed view bothers you, then do not pick seats labeled as partially obstructed (but these do tend to be cheaper). However, the theater is small enough that even the top of the gallery feels close enough to the stage. Tip- The bathrooms on the upper levels have smaller lines than the ones on the ground floor. Oh, and be sure to check for shooting stars on the ceiling whole you wait.

This is the nicest venue in Houston for Live Theater unfortunately the management of TUTS gets to decide who is allowed to use the venue and for how long. Consequently Houston only gets short engagements with the National Broadway tours that come here.

This is truly one of the great gems of the Houston area. This iconic venue hosts some of the greatest broadway productions that have ever been created. The staff has been continuously impressive and the parking garage immediately adjacent to the center is very convenient. I've only seen a couple of shows here so far, but I'm excited to continue coming for the coming years here in Houston. Thanks so much for making this world a better place through inspirational theater!

I brought my family to see Alladin. I had seen it in New York and thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted them to experience the awe and wonder I did. It was my first time attending a show here and I was not disappointed. Nice facility, friendly staff, comfortable seating. Top that with an AWESOME show what more can you ask for!

They claim to have descriptive audio for the blind but after you spend $500 for a seat and get there they tell you it is only on certain nights. Naturally it was not the night I was there.

I love theatre and this place is very nice and you can really score some cheap seats. They allowed us to move a little closer even though we had seats on the very back row because there were rows and rows of seats in front of us. It was an experience i won't ever forget ( also don't buy concessions because they are very exspensive unless you are reallllly thristy)

I visited last night to see the Color Purple. The show was EXCELLENT! The reason I am writing this review is to say thank you to the Amazing manager ( unfortunately I'm unable to remember his name, and I tried calling to get his name but no one was able to help) I had a visibly issues, this manager was so kind and helpful and I cant thank him enough. He really helped to make my experience so enjoyable. I am forever grateful. Great staff! GREAT SERVICE!

Love the hobby center, come very often to see shows. Ushers are kind and are very helpful. Venue is clean and well taken care of. Now that they have drinks allowed in the theatre it is way better.

Beautiful theater and location downtown. Plenty of parking for the event and not to hard to get out after the event. The inside foyer is grand and easy to traverse. The only thing I wish is it had multiple bathroom locations. During intermission it was very busy.

I was here to see Hamilton. Needless to say, it was very crowded. They had a very good system to get ladies in & out of the restroom quickly, many bartenders so there was not a long wait and valet went very well considering the crowd size. My only complaint would be our box seats. Due to the speakers needed for this show, the left side of the stage was completely obstructed. Something to think about in the future as those tickets were not cheap. My view of stage is posted.

The Hobby center is a great venue setup to cater to every crowd providing cultural Broadway experience! The valet service is great too, completely eliminates the traffic flow issue of a garage.

I became a season ticket holder for 2016-17 season simply because I want to guarantee the Hamilton ticket for the 2017-18. Apparently I had no idea what I was signing up for. I fell in love with Broadway shows and musicals even before seeing Hamilton!

In case you wonder about parking space, come a little earlier to park on the street if you don't want to pay for valet or garage parking.

Nice.

Arrive one hour early for: easy parking, no line to get in, order your drink and dinner, easily walk to a table and watch the crowds frantically make their way in. Best way to be comfortable and relaxed without time or schedule as a overbearing issue.

Great show, fabulous theater but the seats are horribly hard and uncomfortable to sit through the cushions flat and old. I couldn't wait for intermission and then the end. The experience took away from a long awaited show for me and my companions. Phantom of the Opera

I was really hoping for a cavity search, but I know it was the best they could offer, at the time. This place is more fun than airport security, because they aren't FLYING to a place that's fun; they ARE fun. The showing, Bright Star, was an excellent production that I hope will someday be optimistic enough to make us willing to give up ALL our freedoms as we subscribe to the scariest threat, that we imagine this world to be. So besides the fact that people can just walk in at any time during a play/musical... Then they don't allow any eating in the theater... Which is hilarious considering I am way more disturbed by people barging in when I'm trying to enjoy a musical... But hey that's just me.
