I love HoHo! I used to come weekly when I worked in the area. Now I stop in on rare occasions years later and they still remember me and greet me like it was yesterday. Food is simple fresh and delicious. Chicken wings are to die for. Must go place!!

Although I'm sure they were being friendly and courteous both people working seemed a bit too "eager" to serve customers. Female may have had a bit too much caffeine. Could make one feel anxious.
Slightly limited beverage menu due to COVID restrictions. They have a huge menu but need to give customers time to review. Egg roll on Appetizer menu was all cabbage which was too bad because wrap was thin & crisp! Wings were salty. All but 1 Chicken item is dark meat. Not a large percentage of items are hot & spicy. Garlic beef (hot&spicy) tasted better 2nd day after flavors had more time to blend but then wasn't as spicy hot. Yes, plenty for left overs -imo.
As for Handicapped Accessibility: 2 sets of doors close together looks like getting in May be very difficult but restaurant itself is open. Forgot to check Restrooms.

Been here twice and I love it. The good is cooked to order and it's nice and hot.

Ho Ho Gourmet's take out service was pretty fast. I stopped by yesterday during lunch hour for some take out - it took less than 15 minutes. The Ho Ho Chicken Wings were very delicious and made fresh to go. I'm not really a fan of the Eggroll, it was filled with mostly cabbage, however the sweet and sour pork were awesome. The main front cashier, I assume must be the owner or the wife of the owner, she was pretty loud and scary but you can't judge a book by it's cover. Sometimes it's just how a person's personality is. She notice she was talking too loud towards me and she lowered her voice throughout our conversation.

Food and service are always great. 3 friends meet up there once per year and we love it.

I have been coming here since I was a little kid and it s been good ever since.

There buffet doesn t have the largest variety but I think that s what makes it good because most everything that they put out tastes great!

Hands down they have some of the best fried rice in Minnesota!

Plus there chicken wings, egg rolls, and wontons never disappoint! The atmosphere is always friendly and the pricing is not to bad....they have also made some beautiful renovations to expand the place so I would for sure check it out of your around the area!

Good are bad, server are bad. Ex: your total is $35, you give them $40 no change back.

The ho ho has fell off, the food was nasty and the chow mien tasted rancid and they raised their prices, I spent 55 dollars just to throw it in the trash, I want my money back but i don't want to deal with the rude lady at the front (rude) needs to be inspected by health department .

Very small selection and no egg rolls. Good food and appears to be good quality. Attracts a big crowd during lunch, so food turns over fast!

Excellent old-world Chinese. Friday & Saturday night is buffet. Lovely.

Food was good but server was amazing. They even pack food to go. Better than take out chinese food. So many options to choose from. They even give you a whole fresh dish of oil pepper. Would definitely recommend.

I have been going to Ho Ho for 25+ years. Always a treat! The buffet is modest in selection but every dish is well prepared and delicious. I have been to larger offerings with lack luster results. This is Quality over Quantity. Menu offerings are extensive, thoughtfully prepared and served quickly. Customer service is A+! Great family business!

Get the Duck! Or anything. Everything I had was great. Very clean and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Will return! HUGE portions that will give you enough for leftovers. Great deal for your $$

Food used to be much better
Since new ownership food not as good. Wait staff not as efficient or friendly. Miss the warmth that once was HOHO.
Prices have increased as much as 30 percent on most items. Very disappointed will not go back.

Love the Food and taste really good but staff is really rude on the phone and in person. Disappointed at customer service, very bad attitude and very rude personality.

The food was amazing! Totally worth it. It may look expensive but you get huge family size portions. I'm going to be eating two more meals off my one plate. Great service even while busy. They had a party going at another table and our food still came up quickly. I will definitely be back.

Blah food. Very limited selection in the buffet. Expensive for the lack of variety. With so much terrific food in St. Paul, go elsewhere.

Food is ready good but the wait time is bad. Was told that my order of chicken wings will be ready for pick up at a certain time after I had called it in hours ahead. I had to wait an additional 30 minute when I arrived to pick it up. The reason given for the delay was that they had a lot of orders and if I wanted to be reimburse, I could. Bad customer service rep. I patiently waited and did not say another word.

Decent food, but small and bland selection of a buffet, should not even be classified as a buffet

This place is outrageously priced and was some of the blandest food ever. All round was the 2nd worst chinese food experience of my life. I did not dine in although, while I was inside to pick up my dinner, the place looked very nice and the staff that helped me were friendly. Would be nice to see them put more of the profits, from their ridiculous prices, into food quality instead of just having a pretty establishment.

We had a nice server, did not catch her name but she was awesome for introducing me to a "Chinese" beer.

I have ordered several times for office food days; chicken wings. This restaurant wouldn't take any order until the day of; late morning. I simply don't understand why they wouldn't just take my order the day before; seems selfish and uninterested in retaining customers.

Pretty good place. I say the food you order taste better than the buffet. Love the positive atmosphere as well as the waiters and waitresses.

Wish the buffet had more options to it you re limited to so much for such a high price.

Ordering off the menu and eating family style is great here. Salted shrimp and sesame chicken entrees are wonderful!

The buffet is NOT open as yet due to covid and seating is limited but food was excellent as was the service

Huge portion sizes. They are swamped the whole time we were there, but still gave excellent service. Server was the best server I've had in awhile. Food was definitely worth the price. Hope the business finds further quality control - my experience was awesome.

I placed an order the day prior for pick up at 3pm. When I arrived, the restaurant looks very busy and chaotic. I waited patiently in line until someone could help me. This young gentlemen eventually helped me and proceeded to take my order. I informed him I placed an order yesterday. He simply shook his head and stated they are too busy. He then told me I "could just cancel my order". They completely disregarded the fact I had placed my order yesterday. They never once apologized or discounted my order. This was a pre-planned item for my family's Christmas event. Had it not been Christmas Eve, I would have left and went elsewhere.
An older gentlemen was behind me and heard what had happened to me during my questioning. He shouted out, "This happens every year." So next time, no need to place an order ahead of time. They'll scratch that and continue their day. They don't care about your service.

Terrible customer service, very rude and disrespectful. Food is mediocre at best, definitely first and last time ordering from this place.

The food was alright, but nothing special. On the positive side, the food was abundant and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

OMG. 1 plate could serve 3. And Good too. Wish we lived near here. If you live in St Paul. Give'er a go.
