This place was hopping. At 3:30 PM. The serving crew was rocking. Constant motion and on time. Two problems. Both this sandwich and the fries were cool at best. I ate the sandwich but I was expecting BBQ and this was shaved turkey. Pimento had some kick. The fries went untouched. Issue 2? This poor pickle was billed on the menu. I'd be ashamed to mention it was even part of the meal. Poor thing.

Hilariously bad bbq considering it s located in Kansas City. Cramped seating and service is very slow. Brisket was bone dry. Pretty sad that this might be the first impression that people have of KC BBQ.

Very Good Smoked Pork, but they have stopped using the Bread & Butter Pickles. So I was not happy with that. Now they do have a Pickle that they also make, but I was not Impressed with them. Go back to the Bread & Butter Pickles.

Our visit was on 10/26/17 at about 8:30am. The restaurant was about 50% full and service was extremely slow, but the server was pleasant. Our eggs/toast arrived about 9:05 am. The restaurant felt like a Waffle House more than a BBQ place. This restaurant was great when new, but has really declined. Im hoping KC realizes that a new single terminal will give travelers more choice in food and shopping than be constrained to about one restaurant and one convenience "store" per group of gates.

Average BBQ in KC!?!? Yep that about sums up Pork and Pickle at the KC airport. The ribs were juicy with a solid smoke ring, and slightly firm texture. The chicken however had the consistency, and taste of being boiled. Fries average, slaw average, comically small corn muffin with an average taste. Meh.

Barely three(3) stars being this is Kansas City! Brisket sandwich was chewy and had too much fat on it. To the staff, if you're going to look at someone more than once, to not smile falls short of a welcoming atmosphere. My waitress was nice.

Fantastic! Our family is embarrassed to admit we look forward to eating at the airport, but the Pork & Pickle is a family fav. Just learned that new airport construction has been approved - if the old one will be knocked down, we'll spearhead the public lobbying campaign to move the Pork & Pickle!

You can avoid this place and your life will be fine. The prices were really, really high (for what you get). I got the ribs and they were fatty. The sauce wasn't all that great either. So, in short, stay away.

For BBQ breakfast they get 4 stars but for service the get 1.5 which brings them to only 2 starts. The waiter almost refused to help my wife and I. I had to keep asking the young lady at the bar for assistance. Overall probably try some where else the next time I'm in Kansas city, MO. I left a tip based on service and gave a large tip to the young lady behind the bar.

You have to go up an elevator or stairs in order to get to the restaurant, so keep an eye out for the sign. Expensive airport dining, but the food was very tasty. They serve at the bar too, in case you don't have a lot of time. At the very least - at least you don't have to go through security again.

We were told to seat ourselves. Sat at a dirty table and after 10 minutes approached the one and only waitress who said she would be right with us came over 15 minutes later. We immediately orders and got drinks 20 minutes later. Still waiting on food. Asked our server how much longer and her response was she put in several orders at once. Regardless, it's looking like we need to board our plane so we are leaving without eating 45minutes later.

I fly frequently and usually want a little something before flying out, today was no different. Unfortunately, it was the first time I was served by #130842 Nubia . She was rude, and snappy. Her response when called out on her behavior was we are so busy . I m sorry business owners, servers, etc the point is to be busy. Busy is how you make your living. But when a customer comes in who greets and treats you with warmth and respect at bare minimum try to match that. I cannot wait for the new dining options, I suspect it will change your business model completely or you ll be far less busy - and perhaps less rude and short.
