This is some of the best airport food I have ever had. I sat at the bar and had great service. The food is very good in any location, and when considering it s in an airport, it s off the scale. Great draft beer selection, the BBQ is very good, food was hot and quick all the while the place is super packed. Matthew helped me and if he s not the owner, he sure acts like it. Great service! I m sorry other people had a bad experience. I look forward to layovers in KC (at the airport) because of this place!!!

Food was pretty good but one major issue for me. The key part of being an airport dining establishment is having customers need to leave on short notice due to flight changes. You should get your bill with your food and we had to flag someone down to find our water to get the bill. Food was nice we had breakfast but it had a nice smoked meat flavor that sets it apart from other chain places.

The best restaurant in the Kansas City Airport. They smoke their own barbecue in house right in the restaurant in the airport. I love the friendly staff and prompt service. I would go here even if I wasn't flying out.

This was some of the best BBQ I have had in my life!! I had the combo platter with ribs, brisket, and sausage while waiting for my flight. I only had an hour to catch my plane. The service was fast and friendly. I was able to take my food AND beer with me to wait at the gate. Definitely stop by this establishment if possible. I know I will be here again next time I am in the Kansas City airport!

Where do I begin? Our server Tanner had no sense of urgency. We split an entree but only got 1 extra plate. There was a bug in my husband's drink & when we asked for fresh the drink we got back was not full. My husband had had a couple sips before he noticed the bug. Tanner advised they would only refill the drink to where my husband had consumed it. Slow service....bad service....chefs with long hair not in pony tails or netted. I know alot of folks like this place but we were appalled. While the dining options are few in terminal B, we will find another.

It's the best place to eat in the Kansas City, MO airport, which isn't saying a lot, since there are very few options. Food is decent, and they serve alcohol, which is almost necessary to deal with this airport. Temper your expectations.

Worst experience ever!! Food was inetable and service was just as bad. Atmosphere was dirty and gnats were everywhere. Waitress never checked on us and when we expressed our dissatisfaction we were literally ignored.

I have stopped here several times while flying out. Food is 7 out of 10. Servers are attentive. This place does get busy. This is prob the better of the food options in terminal B. Will be back.

As far as food and drink goes at an airport it doesn't get any better in my experience than here. Good BBQ and good beer list. Airport pickings can be slim but this makes the SW terminal in KC airport tolerable.

For a restaurant located in an airport, this was good. The food was excellent, with pricing a little higher than average for an airport. I spent $38 for a 1/2 rack of Ribs and a wedge salad. Also spent $38 for 2 drinks. The food was great, the drinks were delicious. The pricing was a little high, and the service was average.

The sliced BBQ platter was good. The side of fries was good. The Cole slaw wasnt all that great. The service was good. The restaurant was on 2nd floor of airport and made you feel like you wasnt in airport.

This is probably the best option at the Kansas City airport. There aren't a lot of options. The food here is pretty good. They have a healthy salad on the menu. They have a good, full bar and the airport now let's you take drinks to go, which is nice. It's also a pretty comfortable spot with a few TV's. Not a bad place to settle yourself if you have a delay. Actually, it's the best of very limited options.

If I could give no stars I would. Stopped in during a layover and got the fish and chips. I ate a few bites until I got to the center and it was completely raw inside. Parts still frozen. Now I m stuck in the airplane bathroom with diarrhea. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst airport food I ve ever had. Not to mention it rookie forecer roger out.

I am a weekly traveler and love coming here to grab some food before my flight. The food is great. The service is medium. I have been servers put on lip gloss with their finger, rub their head/face, touch the trash can and all of this without washing their hands before touching a customers rolled silverware, glass &/or food. Ive even seen a server floss on the line (to the far right facing the bar) Go in the back and do that but at least she washed her hands. Pork & Pickles management has to do better.

For Kansas City this place is great. In a terrible airport with no dining options MCI airport is lucky to have the Pork and Pickle. Solid five stars. Cobb salad was awesome . Ribs are great. Half chicken looks good. Pretzel and pickle appetizers were nice. And they have sweet potato fries, a rare commodity.

Had a half rack of spare ribs, got the small end which was overcooked and dry, ribs were half cartilage that I had to pick out as I went, came with the smallest cornbread mini muffin I could imagine. Line cooks assembled my meal directly in front of me, which was definitely not appetizing. Fries were decent I guess. Sauce was good. Wouldn't recommend, but the rest of the menu looked better than anything else in the concourse. Maybe the ribs just aren't their strong suit. Don't sit at the bar near the grill if you can avoid it.

I wasn't impressed with this restaurant. I ordered salad, they skimped on ingredients, Blue cheese dressing was runny . Fining partner ordered Soup which listed chicken but it came with beef. Pricey due to location in airport.

The brisket and ribs were great. Add one of them to some macaroni and you will have Pork & Pickle's "Dirty Mac and Cheese" that will make the savory food seeker delighted with his choice.

We went up here to escape the crammed airport vibe only to find a slightly dirtier crammed section of this restuarant upstairs. The turkey sandwich was having a crisis between whether he wanted to be hot or cold, but the meal was passable. Just hope that you don't get seated near the waitress kiosk, unless you want to hear an unlimited supply of the latest gossip in shift changes and work complaints.

When I arrived it was too early for their lunch / dinner menu and only had breakfast. It was very good with an attentive bar / wait staff person. While their lunch dinner menu wasn't available, it smelled incredible. Typical over priced beer, wine, liquor but all else is what I would have expected.

Bad food, poor service. Even for restaurant at KCI this place is terrible. The cook was using her cell phone while wearing gloves and making food. I ordered a skillet breakfast and I had to send it back because it was it cooked. Go elsewhere or go hungry!

Had the dry rub ribs, they were excellent. Also had the pickles, I'm more of a dill pickle kind of guy, so not my kind of flavor... but very high quality product. This restaurant really helps to change my mind on the KC airport.

Felt slightly overpriced for what we got (then again, it's an airport). The two bigger downsides were: the "to go" really didn't have a good line or explanation. There is a sign for it but thinking back it may have just been pointing at the to go menus. We couldn't figure out where to order the to go from (bar, extra counter, or what). It also felt like it took forever to get the food. We weren't rushed for time, but by the time we did get our food we didn't have much time to sit and eat before boarding for our flight began.
