It was good in general but I was not able to have a room and I spent the night in the recovery room. The food service was not the efficient. Finally, I had to wait several hours before dismissal. The health staff were great.

For what these people charge and what they do doesn't justify why you pay 1,083 for an allergic reaction. Doctor looks at your throat for 20 sec and gives you a pill. There's need to be a change! people can't afford these prices. Hospitals need to be held accountable for what the they charge. Unless you're really dieing just wait to see a doctor.
I entered the hospital through the walk in Emergency Care. After waiting just a few minutes, my care started with a great and friendly emergency care technician. After her examination, I then saw an Emergency Care MD.
As it turned out I was admitted to the hospital and was treated for two days.
I was extremely pleased with the kindness and professionalism of all the staff during my two night stay,, including the escort out to my car upon release,
I have been equally impressed with the follow up care assistance I have received, including help in getting me quickly into a specialist at peak season. We are big fans of PRHC
I was left in closed room for 2 hours without a call button while my potassium and sodium were at dangerously low levels to the point of being at risk for a heart attack . I was connected to heart monitor so I could not get out of bed to call anyone. The emergency room was over crowded and it was hard to tell if anyone knew I was there or what I was waiting for. Felt pretty helpless and at risk. Once I was admitted everything was fine. Nice private room excellent night nurse who really went above and beyond to make me comfortable
If you have to see a specialist, make it a day trip. You will spend hours in the waiting room and longer in the exam room. I have had to leave appointments twice because of commitments. Not everyone has 3-4 hours for a standard outpatient appointment. This is highly unprofessional. Also, the Collier facility needs renovation. Mo one has offices like this anymore, it's 2021, not 1979.
I was in the hospital 10 days...very attentive staff...Great food...kept me informed as I progressed...thank you Physician's Regional...5 stars across the board...MB
Emergency appendectomy- went to nearest facility with no idea. No complaints - administered pain relief ASAP. After CAT scan, procedure explained. Surgery successful. Post care good- nurses . Only complaint was the 12 hrs waiting for surgery, but I was kept comfortable.
Terrible, terrible experience. I was admitted for 65 hours before being put into a room. Prior to that, I was kept in the hallway or in the post-surgery recovery room with 10+ other patients. Of those two, it was better in the hallway. The nursing staff was unresponsive and seemed annoyed by patients requests. Not only did they not answer the phone, we could all hear them complaining about (1) the phone was ringing and (2) they had to answer it. I often had to tell them when I was due for my medication; they didn t routinely come and check on me; and I finally had my husband get water from elsewhere because I couldn t even get them to fill my glass. Even after I went to a room, I would routinely go hours without being checked on, and they forgot my breakfast one morning. At one point, it took 2.5 hours to get my pain meds after hitting the call button. I was there for four days because two doctors couldn t agree on a course of action, but they also weren t talking to each other about it. Instead, I had to relay their opinions to the other. Once, when my husband came back after briefly leaving, he had to walk someone from the front desk to my bed because the people in the front didn t know how to get there (and nobody in the back would answer the phone). We watched a lot of patients get ignored and family members get frustrated from not getting answers (one person just left after a two night stay because it was so miserable there). This was easily my worst hospital experience ever. We were here visiting when I was caught off guard by an emergency. After day 2, I just wanted someone to assure me that I could be ok for a few hours so I could fly home to our home hospital. Getting out of this place became a bigger priority than being comfortable because it was impossible to be comfortable here. In the future, unless we re dying, we ll go somewhere else for medical care. To top it all off, they lost my shoes. I had to leave in hospital socks (which I also didn t get until my 3rd day there.).
I received excellent care. The nurses both male and female did a great job. The Dr's were very unimpressive. They were not in my room long enough to decide if they did there job or not. The reason for my visit was all wrong and no one could lead me where I needed to go to get it resolved.
Mixed bag. Some of the doctors were understanding and had good bedside manner, and others were downright rude. One hospital tech or assistant was not wearing a mask in the middle of the pandemic, extremely poor practice.
