Beautiful campus. Brings back memories every time I come back.
The first university in Hong Kong, with antique architecture and novel interior equipment.
If you want to go see a university in Hong Kong, this one is the best.
The Son of Heaven, the Hong Kong people are all dreaming of their children to enter the local university. The campus has a history of hundreds of years. Every building has a background story. Each building on the campus is already a work of art, Lu Youtang, and the headquarters building. You must go and see, its English architecture is refreshing.
Its my god's dream school in my whole middle school, though I don't get my university admission of HKU.
One of the most famous universities in Hong Kong. The main campus houses some of the most famous landmarks, including the lily pond, the main library, lok yew hall, etc.
It's a good university, but I don't recommend it for sightseeing. It is not easy to climb on a hill, and it is difficult to take pictures due to space constraints. If you don't have a specific reason, I don't think you'll have time to go there, and if you're looking for a place to stay nearby (for example, Jen Hotel), you might want to take a look.
Graduated from HKU! Didn't like the food on campus, but enjoyed being an undergrad there :) Highly recommend taking pictures in front of the Main Building, one of the iconic buildings at HKU!
The administrative staff and nurses at the University Health Service are extremely unfriendly. Most of the time they look at you as if to say "Why are you even seeing the doctor for this?" And are very impatient with dealing with you. I can probably try to empathise with them, but even then they are very inconsiderate and unsympathetic of the patient. Service or friendliness does not exist in this clinic. I had very bad experiences with them.
The campus is beautiful!
Unique style
And very convenient to take the subway
If you have friends passing by, you can go and see
The entire university is buried in the jungles of Hong Kong.
There are many stairs to enter the campus. There is a lotus pond and a statue of Sun Yat-sen. .
I walked alone, no one took me for 2 hours, I don t know what special spots I have.
I heard that there is a tour service. If you want to register next time
Top rated university worldwide that has 3 pleasant campuses (Main Campus, Centennial Campus, and Sassoon Road Campus), is close to downtown (Sheung Wan and Central), and is served by metro.
Love this culture and tradition rich uni in hk! Its world class with high quality students and exchanges and professors.
In the old days, it was hard to get to the University, and I was privileged to have the opportunity to travel to and from the University for four years (1981-1984). I attended lectures and tutorials mostly at Kowles Building. It is a lot easier to get to the University now, as there is a "Hong Kong University" MTR stop!
though not studying at the hong kong university and i still found it very relaxing. recommend going to the main building that is very historical and enjoy taking pictures there.
It's pretty worth seeing. If you go to the student cafeteria, there is a water purifier.
Compatriots who speak Mandarin everywhere
The campus is crowded and crowded, the buildings are stacked and walked, feeling extremely depressed.

Attractions: University scenery. Compared with domestic universities, the University of Hong Kong is very small and may be smaller than some high schools. But the whole campus is very interesting.
They took a very long time to reply to my application. Worst of all, they rejected my application even though I obtained 4A* in my A Level.
I think it's a very good university, I want to go to university
I didn't enjoy it very much when I was a study there. However, the University itself has been a good place. The libraries are great. But limited choices of foods and people working there didn't speak English very much.
In terms of scenery, you don't need to deliberately come here. The most important thing here is its historical meaning. You can step on it, but only stop there.
The place where you can take a look at the clock tower.
Consider that the lunch at the University of Hong Kong is very cheap
Comfortable environment, distinctive buildings, very appreciated
In the early morning of early summer, strolling on the 100-year-old Hong Kong University campus, the teaching buildings of the old and new campuses stretch over the green hills.
Nothing much to do here-just take a stroll and you will want to get out.
Really nice place Very unique college on the mountain !
If you happen to visit HKU, it is a must to walk in their historical Main Building.
The 100-year campus is very beautiful, with neat layout and fresh green features, showing the characteristics of humanity and pure land. Worth visiting.
The campus of the University of Hong Kong boasts some of the best examples of British colonial architecture of the island. The main buildings are Edwardian and Neoclassical in style, and are attractively disposed on the hillside along the western end of Bonham Road.
Universities were found in China from the 1880s onwards and were usually started by Christian missionaries. But in Hong Kong a group of businessmen felt that there should be a secular university following those found in Britain.
Government Sir Frederick Lugard set aside land for the campus, and with donations from local philanthropists, the UK government, the Viceroy of Canton, and overseas Chinese communities, the establishment of the University of Hong Kong quickly gained momentum, and in 1912 it formally opened and took in the firs cohort of students.
Great University. The teaching and infrastructure is world's best. I highly appreciate the bottom-up culture of the campus life. If you are active and initiative you can benefit a lot by studying at Hong Kong University, regardless what you do.
The school is beautiful and there are no tickets.
There are students on the weekends that can be guided everywhere.
The toilet is also beautiful
I am not a student but I like going there. Great bookstore and nice peaceful places to chill out. The geological museum is a nice distraction. The history museum has some great pieces as well.
