First off, amazing value for the resources you get on servers. Secondly, the support is above all else the best I've ever experienced. They are a great company if you know the software side of servers/how to manage them on your own.
So your company claims "Hivelocity believes in the free dissemination of information via our services" and yet you demand that we remove content from our Co-located server... You should update your site to include, "Only if it is inline with our personal view point".
great service, competitive prices for 1U and 2U racks. the only downside is that around 2012 I became ill and did not have a contingency plan for how to run my business in my absence and I had 2 servers never to be seen again as I'm assuming they were taken in place of the outstanding balance my business partner accrued during my illness. totally not their fault but make sure you have a good plan in cases like mine where I was unable to make decisions regarding the business. I learned this the hard way.
I have been leasing a dedicated server from HiVelocity for over two years and I highly recommend their services. They are a rare hosting company that has not caused me any server downtime, unlike many other hosting companies I have used over the past 20 years. Their tech support is always on point with quick insightful answers that solve problems quickly. Their prices are also attractive relative to their competitors. I have only good things to say about this company.
Don't expect them to be there when it matters most. They will leave you completely out to dry. It's occured twice now. Never again.
I Currently have a collocated rack at DC-1. I am beyond pleased with my experience in the data center for the past year. There facilities are secure, clean and professional. The staff is more than willing to help while I am on-premises. And the culture of the company "Behind the curtain" is phenomenal. I have never heard negative comments on operations from the inside. While a typical customer would think this irrelevant, a real professional would see this as a sign of stability, leadership and appreciation within the organization. This attribute leads to trustworthy and loyal staff which in turn leads to a much higher quality customer experience. It leads to Do you need help carrying those servers into the building? and Would you like some coffee while you are waiting to talk with so-and-so? Friendliness and efficiency are standout qualities of this local company. I would never dream of getting that from Amazon. If I could even host my physical servers there in the first place.
Right at this moment I'm waiting for 2hours for the support team finally locate and make HW reboot to the freezed dedicated server.
The IPMI also non responsible. 2hours passed and they still do not able to locate and issue server HW reboot.
Absolutely unacceptable, who will compensate my lost?
And how much more time should I wait???!!!!!
