Abandoned town. Just spent 45 min bus ride to get here and there is nothing to see and no one to talk to.

Beautiful place to spend a day with the kids . They seemed to be ramping up their efforts to fundraise with lots of new events. I'm taking away 1 star for the prices of some of these events because they are too high for larger families. I appreciate the efforts of the period costumed staff who really try to engage the kids and peak their interest in learning the local history.

Great place. Forgot to take pictures but we spent an hour in the room with the toys from history.

What else to say! Egger's ice cream the best homemade ice cream on the island. Took the Aussies there, they were extremely pleased and the lines move so quick. Excellent service and a plus for Richmond town!

Love the festival's they have, clean, fun, great food, live music, rides for the kids, ice cream shop and brewery

This was an amazing place to visit. So much history!!

Everyone shoud visit , its good to reflect on how people lifestyle of the pass.

Went to the concert at the tavern, had a great time with friends. Eggers ice cream store is open and very crowded. Worth the wait

I love this place! Been here a bunch of times fun place to explore especially at night!

I used to work here as a child. It's wild that so many more people come to this place now that it's closed during covid than they ever used to come when it was open for viewing. It's beautiful and quaint and worth protecting. Also eggers. Lots and lots of animals around.

Worth a look, but the appearance is marred (understandably) by fencing and piping for underground repairs.

The ice cream place is on the more expensive side, but the atmosphere is great and you get a LOT of ice cream, making it well worth the slightly-higher-than-average price.

Great day great experience for families as well as everyone else ! There is something for everyone! The staff of Richmond Town are courteous and professional!

They have a skeleton crew working here and it shows. All buildings are in disrepair and no-one seems to care. I don't blame the workers. It's the management o HR that has dropped the ball. Very disappointing.

Great place for the family even during this Pandemic time. Very tasty IceCream shop and they have live music. We have a great time. Deff better for younger kids.

Very nice cute town to walk round n c old town historic places ,park ur muscle car ,eat at picnic tables n eat at old fashion ice cream parlor .

I love to go to the historical houses and learn about how people lived in Staten Island long time ago

You learn about fun stuff from the 7teen hundreths and back go on tours have fun ect

A beautiful town full of history and culture. It's a great place to take in and relive the history of Staten Island! There's lots of great community events held here, too!

Nice area to explore. Allot of history there. Plan on spending a couple hours or three hours there.

I lived nearby as a kid and used to work there when they had fairs! Most of the buildings there were relocated from other parts of the island. The Cooper house for instance was about 2 miles away from where it is now. I used to play in and around it with my friends, it was located near a beaver pond and the graves of the Cooper family were in front of the house as that was the custom then!

American history persevered nicely, relaxing place to explore on a lazy day with small kids, and there s a candy and I've cream store, yummy.

I went there to see the Christmas Lights and I had a magical and amazing experience, everything was perfect and all the staffs are very polite and helpful. Definitely I want to came back!

The tavern terrace event series is a blast! Great way to enjoy the summer weather outside with good music, good vibes, and Egger's ice cream / flagship brewery beer: something for everyone!

Great family night out! I have lived on the island since 1959-this brings back many fond memories of the Staten Island of my youth. This is the Richmond Town we have been waiting for since its inception. Well done Egger's!

Where I learned to churn butter! Very educational.

This place is a historic gem on Staten island a must see and a great place to explore

pumpkins were mostly rotten,free shuttle on website was not working had to take a uber. Also corn maze was not good barely covered and short . and they ran out of Smores kits smh came a long way to be disappointed try to make the best out of it for the kids but won't come here again

Did a hike with the kids we do frequently, ending with ice cream at the new Eggers Ice Cream Parlor. The Eggers is a great addition to Historic Richmond Towne and fits right in. The Eggers is very well done and has plenty of outdoor seating.

Fun place to come for the fall, they serve beer and wine from a flagship truck , also there is ice cream as well as food ! Oh and live music! Fun for everyone , you should definitely come and check it out

I was not impressed at all. I thought there would be more exhibits.

Went after 5pm just to walk around stopped at the Staten Island's Flagship Brewing Co. Listen to some music on a beautiful afternoon.

Outdoors evening concert- BBQ was excellent, casual and pleasant, parking available.

Great little historic town. Everything was closed, but I plan to return when it get warmer and things open up.it s worth it if you want to take a walk and explore. Be back soon:)

Very exciting but very creepy! The tour made me feel like the 20th centuries! We even made flapjack pancakes!

Its a few streets worth of houses. Can be a nice visit and the people were very welcoming. Though I am not sure if I would go all the way to see it.

Beautiful, quaint, old houses and historic.
Ice cream parlor. Picnic benches. Ample parking lot. Great for holiday pictures.

Lovely place to spend your time (for history buffs as well as photo enthusiasts). Walk-able from Staten Island Ferry station (St. George terminal). Will be very attractive during fall season. Do not forget your camera before going here.

Want to see homes build in the 1700s?.... That are still standing? How about 1695?... Well, this is where you'll find them. Pass by Historic Richmond town and you'll see them all while driving on the road.

It takes you back to the 18th century. You can see just how much times have changed

Much work going on that never finishes! There more concerned about a ice cream store Eggers which charges 4 dollars a scoop!!!
Will someone investigate this please

Always a fun summer night to grab some excellent ice cream and watch the sun go down. COVID friendly in that it's outdoors. Hopefully the bands and beers can return soon.

Great afternoon learning about Staten Island's long history. Awesome tour seeing multiple buildings. Looking forward to visiting again for all their different events!
