Best kept secret. Tell the world! Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Stories of the past and present. Kids(8, 11 & 12) were involved and entertained. So were the moms.

What a gem in Falmouth. Acting was good,; atmosphere perfect for cape cod.

First time there me and my granddaughter '6' went there and it was awesome she loved it had so much fun she told everyone about her trip she wants to go back

Great resource to have in the town of Falmouth. Beautifully restored building with rotating exhibits and classes, fantastic grounds with outdoor music garden/path, climbing trees, and of course the adjacent trails at Beebe Woods.

Beautifully restored home of influential family. Gardens are beautiful. Artwork is well displayed inside and out.

Great place to have a wedding. The grounds are spectacular. The large spiral staircase is perfect for the bride to come down and greet her guests. The neighbors love Highfield Hall and bring their children to play or walk the grounds, and they attend the many events. A butterfly garden was recently installed that has beautiful tiger swallowtail butterflies and monarchs in the middle of the summer. The sunken garden and mansion are used for photo shoots for magazines and TV vacation channels. Most recently a prime time station for London was on the grounds, and this month Art New England is having their latest magazine launch celebration at Highfield Hall. Interesting art display and beautiful lawn and gardens.

Was there for a wedding. The grounds (especially the two gardens) and the house are beautiful. The food was great (not sure if it was catered or if they prepare their own food on site).

This place was quite large. I wish we could have gone inside but it was closed while they decorate for Christmas. The sculpture is really neat and almost interactive as you can walk around it. There is a lovely sunken garden, there were fairy houses as an art installation strewn about the paths, and lots of walking paths. Lots of history, I would like to go back again when the main house is open.

Fantastic place to go. Bring your children, they will love it. The buildings are beautiful too.

So cool and different! My daughter's had fun with the scavenger hunt and the musical instruments in the gardens. The staff were fantastic!

We pulled in at 2pm exactly 0with 2 young kids and were told we cannot go in they are closed. Outside did not see spectacular hydrangeas just a few. If I knew would not even drive here today. July 20th

Highfield is a lovely gracious old home and was a warm place for a wedding and reception. We had a perfect winter day wedding and outdoor shots were lovely. The staff is wonderful to work with and handled everything just the way we hoped. Catering is amazing too.

We enjoyed our visit with our family that lives on the Cape.

Had my wedding here last weekend. Could not have asked for a better spot. Absolutely beautiful grounds and house, and fantastic staff!!! All my guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Thanks so much!

So much to do here for all the family with lovely gardens and parkland to relax and let the kids run around in. It s near to the village so you could almost walk over. The inside is very nice too. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful restoration of a magnificent home. Great history. Gardens around the home are worth spending time exploring. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest and ponds with many trails. Went back twice just to do more hiking.

I ve attended nice events at Highfield, and it s a lovely building. If you re a neighbor, though, the loud music at weddings on many summer weekends in the otherwise-peaceful natural area is extremely inconsiderate. The director once told me that they wouldn t have amplified music outside the building but later said they make more money this way. I guess so, but they also violate the town noise law, and the police have even come to have them turn it down. If I were getting married, I d rather start off without unhappy neighbors and bad karma.

Such a lovely and beautiful place. Be sure to save time to walk the trails. Also, if you are lucky you can catch some live music.

This place is heavenly...the paths are lush and well marked and the scent of the pine is still with me. It's fun for kids and grown-up kids for all the fairie houses. The sunken garden is so peaceful and the sounds of all the birds. There are also musical instruments to play. Always a treasure to visit.

Amazing place for a day visit. Bring the kids and visit the fairy houses. Great place to relax and walk in the woods. And be sure to visit the museum.

Wonderful restored mansion with high end appointments filled with Asian art displays, located on sprawling gardens filled with ancient, giant hardwoods with lots of casual hiking trails.

Wonderful art and amazing skill to pit this together. Great that it was free to see.

Just a most wonderful find. The staff was pleasant we loved the exhibits and had a marvelous experience. I highly recommend checking out this beautiful historic place.

This place is phenomenal! Great place for a wedding, intimate party, or an upscale bash.

We were spending a few days in Falmouth and looked for a walking trail to take the dog for a walk. We were did some exploring here. Impressive facility. Plenty of parking. Formal gardens and nice landscaping. Walked parts of a couple trails. Well maintained and marked. Great for walking, jogging, pet friendly. We would go back again for more exploring.

The grounds and gardens are beautiful to wander in, and the art installations make it that more magical. The house itself is filled with more artwork and a room with history on the house that was very interesting. The hostess was very friendly and informative when we first arrived, as well. Great experience!

This seems like the kind of place my friend's ex-wife would enjoy. I enjoyed it too but she would REALLY enjoy it.
