Very beautiful carvings of magnificent quality and wonderful volunteers

Fun for the whole family beautiful horses and mythical they add and change out the carousel horses so you always see something new they also have names for each character there is a party room you can use shop and where you can see how they create their art

I had no idea this place even existed until a friend saw a piece about it on PBS. What an interesting attraction! The ride is enjoyable, the hosts were friendly, and the tour was well worth the wait.

Always a fun time and a good place to go when your on a budget. Spent 6$ and got two rides on the carousel and an ice cream cone :) I do wish they had fresher food tho. I bought a pretzel with cheese last time and it was so hard I couldn't even eat it.

A wonderful labor of love that you can feel when you are there talking to some of the volunteers. A 15 year project that has culminated in a beautiful carousel. Seeing the new animals in progress in the carving room is very cool!

Nothing short of fabulous for fans of carousels, animals and fine carving. Worth a detour from anywhere!

Wonderful, beautiful place. The carousel is lovely, the workshop is interesting, the people were nice. Free admission, only $2 a ride.

Halloween is really cool. Staff are very friendly. It's a little expensive if your buying tokens for the carousel if you have a couple kids it adds up pretty fast because they just want to keep riding. And at $5 for 2 minutes it adds up pretty fast

This is a great place for the kids and birthday parties. My kids could not get enough!

Such a gem in the heart of Albany. Take the tour, they will show you how the Carousel Animals are hand crafted. There is a gift shop and don't miss the $2.00 Carousel ride!

Gorgeous hand-carved animals, great volunteer staff (thanks for always waving back at the young riders!), and getting to see how it all comes to life makes it much more interesting from an adult perspective.

Very cool, so glad I stopped and took the tour. Awesome and friendly volunteer staff. An excellent community project. A must see if in Albany.

So beautiful! Loved the artistry and very nice staff. It's worth paying for the unlimited wrist band. 2 hours of carousel and my kids enjoyed every minute of it!

Beautiful Carousel with a stunning building to display and interact with knowledgeable volunteers. The history and amazing talent of the volunteers who design, carve and paint is unbelievable. Well worth a visit.

Fun place to be! Love how accessible it is now. Volunteers are wonderful and cautious.
