As much as I used to love Hinkle for my kids I m giving them one star for coming after taxpayer money during a pandemic. There is nothing this family won t do to justify a special handout from city funds . Shameful.

This is an oldie but a goodie. It has paintball, go carts, mini golf, laser tag, arcades with newer and older games. This is not as crowded as the new places and it's a quieter setting. They have laser tag tournaments, and prices are fair. They put out Groupons every now and then too for all day passes
They where very short staffed we paid almost 200 for a family of four and there was only one guy working outdoor attractions they only had one cashier
I would give this place zero stars if I could. Went there with my family trying to have a good time and people were smoking weed! Doing illegal stuff in plain sight and management did not seem to care. I asked for a refund and I was not given the complete refund. I talked to the general manager and I was told basically that I left because I wanted to and I could've done something else to get away from the people who were clearly smoking marijuana. He also stated that I shouldn't have even got a refund because that's not how the run their business and these words were from the general manager. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.
Always fun for the kids. A bit pricy for a day out but it's a nice birthday treat.
We took our sun for his first time playing mini golf, he loved it! We played some games inside too. I love that once your done with one golf course, there's another one to play. We'll have to do the bumper boats and carts next time. Always a good family time going to hinkle!
Kinda pricey for the out dated attractions and games. About the only thing to do in Albuquerque though, so I guess they can price how they like. The young people working here well, they are millennials. Enough said.

I had my son's 7th birthday over the weekend. I LOVED having his party at Hinkle. In the past, we had done other parties, similar to this and some at home, but this was the least stressful environment!!! Hinkle took care of everything they promised with the party package I purchased! I was apprehensive about only have 1 hour in the party area - but our host was so sweet, he took such good care of my family and friends! My son and his partygoers had tons of fun, roaming around the arcade and outside on the rides. Not only did Hinkle accommodate my party, but they accommodated our extra food orders and delivered everything timely and professionally. I would recommend having a party here to others and encourage you all not to forget all of the fun to be had here! Thank you again to everyone at Hinkle for being so great yesterday!
The new laser system is horrible. Worth to try once for the experience. Can't believe they got ride of the old system. The only reason this place stays in business is because they have no competition.
This place is so clean!!! The employees are friendly and my kids had a blast. Literally I always saw someone cleaning in every room. It was great!
A great family fun center. From 4-21 our children enjoy themselves.
I loved nickel city once. I have been going there for more than 20 years. But today when I went there I realised it would be my last time and it kinda broke my heart. This is no longer an arcade. This is a casino. There are no games. Just a small selection of wildly over priced slot machines and plinko games. I don't think kids could have fun here. All the machines are instant play, mindless token flippers. There is no ddr, and only 2 actual things that could even be called games. Even the prizes suck now. They used to carry soooooo many fun prizes and now.... Just don't waste your time or money in here. Full disclosure I was on extacy and couldn't have fun here.

This is one of my favorite places for fun to take my kiddos here! It's not only a great price and great group deals, it's also locally owned and has grown since the time I was a little girl. Great memories!! Also.... one very huge thing, is the that the staff is a young crowd but they are the best young crowd running business around Albuquerque. It is very impressive! Thank you all for your hard work and fun

Miniature golf is almost as goo5as putt putt. Lots of games for prizes. Basic food and lots of candy choices
I have been going to hinkle since i was a mere child. we've had birthday parties, occasions, just random fun times, and hell i ditched school to come here. I have watched this place slowly downgrade and disintegrate into a disaster. WHOEVER OWNS THIS PLACE SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO STILL CALL IT A FUN CENTER. it's called nickel city not credit card city. this place is a growing metaphor of social dysfunction. they're trying to program children in a direct manner. I used to save up my nickels just to come to this place. it used to have all the oldschool arcade games and was a great deal. now, the pricing is terrible, all the fun oldschool games are gone, you need a credit card to do anything there. the staff when i was a kid was amazing. they would check up on the children and make sure everything was good as far as family friendly things went. now its just a job for teenagers to make an easy buck. you might as well call this place future city and start coming up with some very great abstract ideas instead of insulting the name of oldschool even more.
If you want real input, which i think will make your business even more successful: bring back the oldschool arcade games and make them be playable for a nickel. NICKEL CITY MAN. i used to save up my nickels when i was a kid. you can't do that with your credit card system. again my complaint is just towards nickel city. I actually never once checked out the other side.

Super fun and nice place to take kids, esp on a warm day. Loads of arcade games, nice laser tag arena, decent putt-putt course, fun (though short) go cart track. Food is really expensive and mediocre, but otherwise pretty great place to take kids.
Not good place for real little kids at all.. but say above 7 or 8 it's on... lol
Great for the whole family. Especially when you the all day fun pass at a reasonable price.
Really wish we had children so it would not be as awkward. But it is so much fun it does not matter about 10 mins in.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Prices are high but it was well worth it.

Having been to this place for a few decades now I've always appreciated how they do put $ back into the place to keep it up to date. The staff is usually high schoolers so while they are not the best at trouble shooting situations on the fly without a more senior staffer they are all friendly and make a solid effort. I'll be back again with the kids I'm sure.
They are Not doing the 30 day pass anymore. Bummer. All day pass is kind of expensive for what you get, especially when you spend time waiting for an attendant to show up to let you on the rides.

Disappointing
The wait for passenger carts is 3- 4 times longer than single carts, so about 1 hour to 1 & a half hours. Staff will push single riders ahead of passenger carts. Be prepared to explain to your child several times why people keep getting pushed ahead of him!
Also, the area is poorly structured, as several people/families were jumping the railing and not having to wait.
Has all the staples of family fun center - video games, carnival games, ticket prizes, minigolf, gokarts, bumperboats, etc.
We went there to play a round of minigolf. It was fun but also kind of blah. The entire course was par-2 holes - 1 stroke to the green and 1 putt in. If you get lucky you might get a hole in one, if you do bad you might take 3 or even 4 strokes, but most of the course is stroke-putt, stroke-putt, stroke-putt. Kind of bland. No dinosaur tail to bank off, no pirate legs to shoot between, no castle drawbridge to cross, no windmill blades to avoid, etc. And where many minigolf places have some kind of skillshot on the 18th hole, this place has just another bland hole.
All-in-all, not bad if you're into minigolf, just nothing exciting.
Very expensive! Spent $100 in 45 mins with a 3 year old boy, just playing simple arcade games....
However the go carts and bumper boats are super cool!
Next time, I will buy a package deal. .. take the time to find coupons and see what will work best for you and your family out of the packages they offer...
Always a great place for a party, games and putt-putt with go karts and bumper boats they even have a rock wall when it's warm. There's in total three buildings and the far west one has laser tag, bumper cars and the vr things along with even MORE GAMES. I love going here anytime I need something like a drink or help with a machine they're right on it. The area where you get a prize is quite slow, but that's also the children's fault on that part but they always have cool things there. I won enough for a tea kettle once, around December I got it and it is beautiful. Recommend this place 100%
If you're an adult, you'll get to feel like a kid again. I went here for a date night and my partner and I couldn't stop laughing and smiling. We only spent $25 in the nickel arcade to create some amazing memories. Will definitely return soon. Thank you Hinkle Family Fun Center!
Been coming here for 23 years. It's still the same but awesome for the nostalgia.
Cources are well maintained. Prices are reasonable.
