Very nice hotel with nice swimming pool, sauna and Turkish steam bath. Nice night away!
I was mainly there for a customer, beautiful apartments and also a beautiful golf course. Especially great nature. The public transport was bad but oh well, that is not necessary either
Room always clean, cordial employees and breakfast very rich and good quality
I would not recommend room 113 immediately, unless you would like to spend the night with huge mold in your bathroom. Due to the renovation on the floor above us, we were kindly knocked out of bed and drilled at 08:00 in the morning.
The only positive I can make here was the breakfast and the TV. The breakfast was extensive and good. In addition, the flat screen TV was nice with a wide choice of programs.
Very neat and nice room, nice breakfast and nice pool.
Nice hotel with a nice swimming pool. Bathroom a little dated and the restaurant is good but very "organic" direction: small pieces of meat with lots of vegetables. All in all recommended.
Renovated rooms are much better. also area is good for running paths.
Nice hotel in the Soester dunes and nice walk in the "mountains" on the other side of the road. Also in corona time everything is well organized
Amazing breakfast with large variety. The wellness center is very relaxing, clean and well maintained. Large swimming pool, dry and wet saunas. Bathing suit is optional in the saunas. Modern small gym and large changing rooms. Massage is very good but sell out fast. The golf fields around the hotel are refreshing even for non golf players. The outside appearance of the hotel though is quite disappointing. The interior looks quite dated. The hotel seems to be taking some renovations as hotel staff indicated but nothing could be noticed.
A great place to relax at. Have pool, gym and golf here. Only one hour from everywhere touring, but you will need a car. The staff is very kind and pro.
This hotel is anything but what the name stands for. Hilton? Royal? do not make me laugh. We had room 113, 1st floor. There was so much mold in the bathroom that I have never seen. You felt dirty when you came out than before you went in. Also, it was not indicated anywhere that renovation work was being carried out during our stay, which was badly needed. At 8 o'clock they went to break the room directly above us and at 9 o'clock we were shaken out of bed by the drill. I have to say top stay. ! worse than this I have never had so congratulations .. you have risen to the 1st place of dirtiest stay ever. brrrrrr. 1 small fine-maker of the good breakfast, but that is also allowed after this.
Clean room and very kind staff. We've been going here for 14 years for a reason!
it is not often said but firstly I had a very nice stay at weekl 41 good hotel.
But I also found the head housekeeping a pleasant person to see and behave. Although you could see that she was very busy, she remained very friendly and helpful with a smile on her face. More head housekeepers would be allowed to take an example here! although you don't come across beautiful women like this very often at housekeeping, a very grooy plus for the hilton soester dunes Mvg
Was it all just not ..
Hair in the bathroom .. stains on the chairs .. remote control that didn't work .. empty minibar .. moldy glass of orange juice on a table in the hallway.
Sorry .. but I expect more from a "HILTON".
i agree 100% with the summery of my travel buddy Gerrit. "I rarely write bad reviews and I stay in Hotels very frequently for business travel, but this Hotel is soo bad overall - it really made me lose my trust in the Hilton brand. Lets start from the beginning:
- Booked a two bed room, got a double bed. That can happen and got fixed immediatly.
- Empty Mini Bar, no bottled water in the room. Very unusual.
- Room is very old and not renovated as advertised. Spots and cracks on the walls etc. Pretty misleading Advertisement.
- The balcony is extremely dirty, not just from the weather and surroundings, which might be somewhat understandable, but cigarrette buts etc. At this point we didn't bother to tell reception anymore.
- Only one ice despenser for three floors and its broken. Informing reception of this, one would expect someone to bring ice to the room. But no, they make the guests walk there. Again, this might happen in cheap Hotels, but should not happen in a pricy Hilton.
- No bathrobe in the room. Reception tells us we would get them at the Spa. Spa wants to charge us for them. No comment.
- Very noisy in the morning, shutting doors on the same floor sounds like the building is about to collapse.
- No Powerplug in the bathroom. Do people not shave in the Netherlands?
- ...
That being said, the beds where great and the staff was very friendly and somewhat tried to help. Also, the Pool, Spa and Fitness is very very nice. I still would not recommend the place, especially if its for a vacation and you have to pay yourself."
A beautiful place, lots of greenery and golf courses. You can take a beautiful walk around the object. Comfortable beds and delicious food. The only minus is cosmetics, they could be better.
Great location, very kind staff, lots of parking places. I will choose this location again, for sure.
Good value, rural setting, no oat meal @ breakfast, scrabled eggs looked like instant type. Rooms bit dated
Peaceful location, surrounded by pleasant countryside. The bar and restaurant can be a little empty at times, so not really a lively place, but certainly pleasant and relaxing. Pool area is very nice. Recommended for a lazy weekend away, or a business venue. Not so much for excitement. There is a golf course the too, if that's your thing
Beautiful environment,
Very friendly staff
Mattress was too hard for our taste.
Shower and toilet seemed to have been cleaned in a hurry. Balcony looked a bit neglected
Nice hotel, nice staff. Restaurant nice location only the menu was somewhat limited in terms of choice.
Nice renovated hotel in a good location with a pleasant atmosphere. Very clean, newly renovated rooms. The good service extends across all areas from reception to housekeeping. Particularly noteworthy is the good kitchen and service Daniele, who provided us with advice and action and good tips.
Great deal. Dinner, overnight and breakfast.
With a 3-course menu we could choose from the menu. Delicious eaten.
I had no experience but I had a more appropriate one!
Great hotel under renovation. We stayed in a freshly renovated room, really tasteful.
The restaurant still needs to be renovated, which the quality of the food is no disadvantage. Really good food.
The breakfast is ok, we have eaten better but it is good.
The spa is small but very nice.
The bar is great and the drinks are delicious. We will gladly come again.
I really liked the hotel in general, and especially great and friendly service by Roos at the bar, she acts very professionally! Thank you very much!
This was a nice place but year after year you see the quality and service deteriorate. This should be a 4-star hotel, but if it is not urgently needed for renovation and cleaning, it seems to me rather a 3-star motel. Recently tried the dinner. Another disappointment. There used to be a 2 or 3 course menu. Now only a few dishes that you do not heat up. As a sauce with the different dishes you have the choice of truffle sauce or truffle sauce. Something else is not possible. If you ask for something other than fries, that also seems difficult. Do you want a window seat to have a view of the gulf? Also not possible because the table is not set. Dishes are expensive and not too tasty (meat not fried as requested). In short, you have to be somewhere else to eat. The breakfast is expensive compared to other Hiltons in NL who offer better service. Some rooms are in urgent need of a renovation. Does the staff not see that the wallpaper is full of coffee? Fortunately there is still the swimming pool .... It is a pity that the 2 petanque lanes on the waterfront have been neglected for years. Maybe place a trampoline for the kids? Place sat. Hopefully the fall of 2018 will improve. Would the long-announced renovation finally start? Do not forget to do something about the kitchen service.
Dated hotel. Environment is beautiful.
It is annoying that this company lets the reservation on your credit card run until the maximum term of 30 days and does not actively cancel it itself, it must be lazy American.
By the way, we had a nice night with the receptionist.
Beautiful hotel....went the extra mile to make our experience memorable
I am a fan of Hilton units in the Netherlands, I have stayed in all of them, from the iconic Hilton Amsterdam by John Lenon and Rotterdam, opened personally by Conrad Hilton to the fantastic Hilton The Hague with its fantastic design rooms and modern suites.
The Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen, is on a level below all other Dutch units, the rooms are in need of repair and there is no Executive Lounge. But on the other hand, the hotel is located in a sensational, beautiful and peaceful region, between two picturesque towns in the middle of a beautiful green area.
I stayed twice at the Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen, the second time I faced some problems with the room, but I was promptly attended. HH Diamond customers, loyal to the Hilton chain, have their benefits respected and are well received, I recommend a visit to the cozy bar in the basement, enjoy a great Dutch beer or a glass of wine, accompanied by good snacks.
I hope this brief account has contributed to your next choice of hotel!
** My reports are based on real experiences as a business and leisure traveler, in more than 200 different hotels on 4 continents, mainly from Hilton and Accor chains.
;)
Excellent hotel! Enjoyed absolutely everything: friendly reception (Ingmar is the best and the kindest person), nice spa facilities, clean and modern room, fabulous breakfast and great bar with best bartender Roos! Thank you.
Expired and impoverished. Nice area, but the hotel is very dated. Terrace with old plastic furniture. And a staff party with alcohol and karaoke next to the terrace ... Not well thought out.
You do need a car to reach it, but then it is the nicest hotel in Utrecht (under 120). Comfortably furnished hotel bar, fitness, swimming pool, sauna and a great restaurant.
Nice and neat hotel .. Rooms good but noisy. Breakfast is super
Everything was very clean and very nice. High quality breakfast buffet. Gladly again
Nice hotel, only easily accessible by car, nice natural environment
Since of the happiest and friendliest staff I've ever encountered. The hotel itself is well appointed with an on site restaurant, bar and gym. Walking trails surround the forest and dunes behind the hotel. The rings we're fairly standard but the food was good
Multifunctional.building..first impression fine..it is a pity that there is no hook for your bag on the toilets inside door ...
Very good hotel. Holds everything that is promised on the website.
Had a wonderful holiday. On arrival had a free upgrade because our rooms were overbooked, very annoying;). Nice spacious room with balcony separate toilets and a bath with separate shower. WiFi must indeed be paid for, but even the staff find it strange and we were given the password to use the WiFi for free. Pool sauna and turkish steam bath you could use for free and that was good too, it was not a large pool but for a hotel in for that price it was perfect. Everything was positive and we had a great time !!
It is a nice hotel, friendly presonel. Location is nice. Rooms somewhat dated.
Brilliant hotel, I'll likely be back with my wife for a weekend getaway
Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and the location is beautiful, but for a hilton I would have really expected the food to be much much better, especially dinner was bad, breakfast okay
Good location beautiful in nature You also have a very nice room with a balcony We were on the 2nd floor so had a nice view The service in the hotel is also really excellent!
nice hotel with fabulous swimming pool, surrounded by a park with a golf course, great for those who go to amsterdam by car, is out of town about 40 km .. tip .. kind staff and abundant and rich breakfast
Nice spacious rooms, completely renovated. Nice staff and a nice environment for a relaxed walk
Looks a bit older from the outside and the inside. Quite uncomfortably empty. But that's because of the corona. Cozy on the small golf course. Good facilities. Worth a visit
Still my cup of tea ... American Dynasty atmosphere
Nice hotel. Good place to network Business Open Soestduinen. Nice golf location!
We enjoyed a superb stay here the last 3 nights. Great service, large clean rooms (all of them with their own balcony), fine breakfast etc.
This is what Customer Excellence is all about: being treated like true guests, by all of the staff you meet. From the front desk, to your hallway and back to the breakfast area!
Taking care all of the required CO-VID19 measures, so we felt very safe as well.
I would absolutely go back there for another stay!
Had a great stay. Warm and friendly staff. At the reception, bar and restaurant. Everyone greets and clearly enjoys his or her work. We have stayed in a renovated room. Really worthy of Hilton. Nicely finished and equipped with good beds and comfortable chairs to relax in.
Great facilities for the whole family. The children could enjoy the swimming pool, the pool table, the small golf game and the children's kicker. The only downfall was the evening dinner - it took too long and the courses were very small (5 small ravioli as an adult dish is hardly a dish). Gym was great
Vicinity in which the hotel is situated is one of the best in the Netherlands. Rooms are spacious with lots of amenities. The restaurant fell short of being really first-rate, but it was more than adequate. The staff is above average in terms of support, friendliness and happiness. If the weather had been better it would have been even nicer.
We had a nice stay at the Hilton despite the Corona requirements. A time slot for breakfast could be reserved the day before, e.g. Between 9 and 10 o'clock, the selection was okay and the staff tried hard. The rooms were modernly furnished and had good air conditioning. For an extra charge of 30 euros we could take our dog with us. Gladly again :)
A month ago we held our 'honeymoon part 1' here. Because of our wedding on the day of arrival, they had given us an upgrade. Very sympathetic. The room was excellent. Ideal to relax and enjoy each other. The staff was extremely friendly. When I found out that I had forgotten my charger, they arranged one for me (there were no found objects so that still had some foot in the ground).
The gym is small but sufficient to do a good workout. The free WiFi was limited, but more than enough to do the most important things. The pool is also excellent.
All in all a great experience.
This hotel is really beautifully surrounded by nature. Generous rooms. And staff who really enjoy treating you as a guest. Here they have understood hospitality well. As a group deciding to use lunch on the terrace (instead of inside) was no problem, despite the fact that this meant a small move for the staff. We had a BBQ. Delicious dishes. And more than enough.
Certainly not star worthy! On arrival room turned out to be unavailable. No housekeeping, had weird stains on the chair that I cleaned myself. Rusty shower, clogged sink with hair, loose wallpaper, ordering ice in room is not allowed (not even with 37 degrees!) Toilet roll was on arrival, breakfast room floor was full of food scraps and many tables with dirty dishes. The room waa really sparse, minibar was empty. What poverty. Not worthy of Hilton. Regret wasting my Hilton Honors points there!
Response after my complaint from Hilton: We're sorry, we're going to improve. I learned from my mother: If you say sorry, the next sentence is: what can I do to make it up to you? As said: disappointing. Definitely don't go.
Nice room, balcony also nice for fresh air and our dogs could come along, great for the beautiful walking environment. We found the bed a bit too hard.
What a ball tent! Terrible. We had a gala dinner buffet. Hardly any vegetables and the rest was refilled too late. I got my coffee with a big foot bath. My neighbor got tea in a coffee cup and also with a coffee foot bath. This was not replaced or cleaned.
Been to a concert provided by Muziekpodium Eemland. What a beautiful location!
With enough parking space.
The room we had at our disposal for a meeting was large and light. And nice place.
Nice hotel, good and friendly staff. Delicious food.
