Hilton Rotterdam Review

National Monument designed by architect Hugh Maaskant after WW2 and constructed during the phase in which the city was rebuilt. Hilton at this site first opened in 1963.

Sorry for earlier comment. Actually it's very conveniently located. Great services. Good accommodation. Value for money. Something else was written for your great cooperative staff , which got lost in translation.

Uninviting place
There are nicer places to have a drink ...... Really no atmosphere

Always enjoy coming to this hotel. Service is always top drawer. Rooms are very well laid out and of a high standard. Food very good, very good bar, just slightly pricey. Hotel is well situated for Rotterdam centre. Close to rail station and tram terminus.

We were only in the bar for a while. Good assortment of liquors and excellent attention. Very international

Very well located city hotel with everything you need for a city trip. Train station within walking distance, supermarket and restaurants and tram very close. Service friendly.

The hotel is great and the location is close to most of the tourist attractions and very close to the shops and restaurants along with a great shopping street

Neutral to even unfriendly check-in. As a loyal Hilton status customer, you don't feel valued.

When asked to upgrade through our status, we were offered a cash upgrade.

A status upgrade was not possible. Otherwise I will not receive any benefits based on my status.

Even the water in the room was missing. We had a King Deluxe High Floor Room, which means 8th floor.

In the evening we found out that the lounge was open. We then ask whether we would get access here.

This was also rejected clumsily and unfriendly, but access was offered for cash ( 40).

You can tell that the hotel is very keen on additional business. Not exactly nice for retaining or retaining customers.

Room was nice and functional. It is best to choose a room with a view of the Weena. location of the hotel

Even an Albert Heijn is just around the corner - for drinks and snacks

You could choose between 3 types of breakfast. Good for corona conditions and here the staff was very friendly in comparison

to the reception.

Due to my experience I canceled my reservation for the next weekend and booked Amsterdam

Nice entrance shame that if you sit in the lobby for a while no one comes to you to ask if you want a cup of coffee (which I pay for myself). Also at the reception it could be a bit more professional it was not an experience that I am used to from the Hilton hotel. It seemed a bit clumsy today

I have been to this hotel multiple times and couldn't have been happier. Staff is extremely friendly, rates are fair. The rooms are nice as well and the location couldn't be better, it's only a short walk from the central station. Some other reviewers mentioned they didn't have free internet, but I've never had that issue myself. Internet speeds were good and I've never paid extra for that. They also have computers with internet available for guests in the lounge if you didn't bring a device. There is also a printer you could use for printing documents, which is great if you've purchased tickets online for a local museum or concert.

Located at the intersection, the sound is not good, and the volume of the heavy machine is large at night. Try to choose the room that is facing the road.

Hilton is really different, the overall feeling is very comfortable, the wooden decoration, the texture is also very warm to the travellers.
The location is really convenient. It is only a 5 minute walk from Rotterdam centraal. The weather is cold and you can take the tram to the hotel.

I really liked the Hilton in Rotterdam. The breakfast buffet is rich and delicious. Here everyone should find something to their liking. The rooms are functional and modern.

Great stay. Beautiful hotel. Especially the staff were extremely friendly. The people from Roots were professional, friendly and sincere. I do not know all their names, but ate there on the 24th. And at the reception they go the extra mile. Dunya and Romy especially. Great gold member recognition as well! Overall very satisfied.

Top hotel, excellent service, but not necessarily better than Van der Valk Ridderkerk, for example.

Fantastic hotel. Great location in the centre of Rotterdam. Shops, restaurants, theaters and museums. Kind staff and excellent breakfast.

Had a great stay. Stayed in a jr suite. Great size with views of the city. Central to many restaurants and thearters. Onsite restaurant Roots also caters for a great breakfast with more than enough choice from cerial to a full cooled breakfast including omelette of you choice. Will definitely use again when returning to Rotterdam.

The group houses are older, there is no bathtub, breakfast is served in another space, and no meal is served at the level of hilton.

Staff is good. They talk politely and helpful. But compare to its expensive room charges ( compare to other branded hotels) there are no good facilities even no drinking water or microwave facility. Breakfast is average. TV is big ( mostly news channels) also room size. Toiletries average. On the whole expensive hotel with normal experience.

I prefer to give a negative rating because unfortunately the Hilton daughters do not find halal or something at all. So better to go to a smaller hotel with clean sheets.

Really beautiful hotel on the inside with incredible staff. We arrived earlier and they did everything they could to help us out. Loved the decor in the room. Would stay here again in an instant!

Room was comfy, air con was controllable, staff pleasant and helpful, nothing outstanding though but perfectly good business hotel (nice views).

It is not yet 11 pm and you cannot get coffee at such a hotel, worthless

I stayed at the Hilton Rotterdam for one night. Room 819 on the 8th floor. I am totally unimpressed. The curtains are stained and damaged. The arm chair is stained. There is no USB outlet at the bedside. And on top of that, the elevator noise and vibrations can be heard very loud from the room. The purpose of a hotel room being sleeping, dosen't matter how many stars.

- Harde matrassen en als je partner omdraait gaat het hele bed mee. Prijzig ontbijt 20 euro p.p.

Pleasure to stay here. Nice and comfortable rooms. Pleasant service and good location - close to train station and close to the centre. Train station area is clean and safe unlike in many cities in Europe.
