We absolutely loved this hotel.

We absolutely loved this hotel.
From the front desk, to the cafe, to the valet.
Everybody was so accommodating to us.

Stayed here in a recent trip to Portland. It's centrally located downtown with a great location a friendly staff. Parking is $30 a day for valet, but we opted to park at it the garages nearby with much better prices.

Service: The check in process was quick and easy, as it should be when you arrive. There are only a few spots that you can pull up to at the front of the hotel that are 15 min check in spots only. After you check in, then you can opt to move your car to a nearby garage, or opt to have them valet it for you.

As if often the case, your room will be chosen and booked online before you arrive and you'll just be picking up your door key.

Cost: The cost is about right for a large city's downtown hotel of this caliber. I say it is worth it, as one has a great location, and good service, and the hotel food is great, although pricey.

The Pros: Grocery Stores, 7 Eleven, Restaurants all within walking distance. Central location

The cons: no free wifi.

Great location downtown. East to walk to lots of restaurants and bars. Clean rooms, if a bit cramped. Front desk is in a temporary location while they do construction in the lobby, but check in and everything went smooth.

I was at the Hilton for a wedding reception. The reception was on the 23rd floor and it was fantastic. Great views of the city and very good set up. The staff were fantastic. The bartender was super friendly and the event manager made sure everyone had everything they needed. I would highly recommend.

Paid for a king bed and was in a queen after realizing it the next day. It wasn't a bad experience at all. The staff was very accommodating, the room was clean and the 12pm checkout was awesome. With a child and no pool or hot tub my experience had me wanting more overall.

Stayed in a room on the 22nd floor with a beautiful view of the city. The room was a single king bed but it was comfortable and had plenty of room to work in the evening at the desk. Overall, a clean, comfortable stay I would recommend it to any business traveller.

Hilton Portland downtown is located just a few blocks from Pioneer Square. There are many many amenities offered there FedEx Etc quick food stops and is centrally located in downtown Portland I occasionally meet friends there for a bite to eat and hand decide between a lights dinner or full course. Had never received anything but excellent service.

Clean, stylish rooms. Friendly staff. Only option for parking was to pay for valet or find a nearby garage which wasn't ideal. Also, we booked a room with a king size bed, but we were given a double bed room on arrival instead. Not a huge issue but just not what we booked.

Very upset.. i used valet while i was there for two days. The last day i gave the ticket and they pulled my car around like normal.. i got in and left. Stopped for gas maybe 45 min to a hour later and went to lock my truck with my faab. The lock button was completey broken and i couldnt use it. I called immediately and made a complaint that this was not how we left it and they said nothing to us before we left. I left a email and voicemail. I got a email 2 weeks later saying that my claim was denied because i made it a week after leaving the hotel. I called BS and sent screenshots of the email date and time. They reopened the claim and now 5 months later(after repeat asking for update) they are denying me again saying i should have made a claim before leaving. I will never valet with them again this was a waste of money and patience.

Well, I had high hope for this hotel, but alas I was disappointed. I am a Hilton Diamond member. First, they offered an upgrade to q larger room at a cost. Typically, I get free upgrades especially after 100 nights at Hilton alone this year. I now understand why they offered the upgrade with more room. The rooms are very, very, very, very small. 2 people would be crowded. Three would be too, too many. There is only about 2 feet between the king bed and the dresser. The bathroom is so small that they had to angle the toilet to make it work. You have to bend of the sink to turn on the water for a shower. I had to ask for a refrigerator, and the brought one to my room and put it on the window sill. There is a 70" TV, but it takes up 2/3 of the wall, and you have to sit on the headboard to watch it. Otherwise, you cannot see it all. Another Hilton without an executive lounge. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is ONLY valet parking. And you may have to stand there with your vehicle for 10 minutes or so before someone shows up to take your vehicle. Breakfast was decent as a Diamond member. I would not habe paid that much for it otherwise. Do not expect a lot of frills. Hotel isndecenly located around good restaurants. Would question whether I would stay here again?

Nice central location and the rooms were clean, but expensive for what it is and not up to the usual standards of a Hilton. Also, be advised that if you want a refrigerator in the room you will need to call for it. The customer service was good.

Accommodations are clean and wel km appointed, bateomm is not huge but the room is functional. Heck, you're in Portland and shouldn't be spending time in your room anyway..... good lobby restaurant, market and bar.

Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly. Be warn though room is smaller than you're used to. Bed is very small I think. There was 4 of us staying in the room and the bed felt smaller than a full size. We still fit but we were snug. Bathroom is smaller as well. Very convenient though cause there's a lot of retail and restaurants near by. Uber to most places was very affordable.

We weren't happy with check-in, as they couldn't get us into a room until late. Hotel was crowded with several conferences at once. Bathroom door in our room was frosted glass, which was a little odd. But staff was super nice and helpful, and bed was comfortable. Need in-room fridges and microwaves.

As a Hilton Honors member I could check in online and use my phone as my room key, so could just head for the room when I arrived. Nice looking room with large windows and all the amenities one would need. Cozy tavern in the lobby area with a semi-decent beer selection. The staff was polite and helpful.

Bed, coffe/quick breakfast bar downstairs, proximity to PSU and theatre, and lobby service were all very good. If you are a fan of an uncluttered "Renovation Hardware" atmosphere, this is your place. Compact rooms, lots of dark gray. Probably more aesthetically enjoyable in the summer--or when your room is just for sleeping.

We came here for a birthday party actually. I know many people comment about the rooms of the hotel so I wanted to note about the party room. It was very nice and spacious. Good party space , overall .

Junk 1970's thermostat, great hotel and even better staff. We were staying there for a company party. The room was beautiful but we were either ice cold or roasting hot because Hilton was too cheap to replace the junk 1970's thermostat when they remodeled the room. Hilton Management - thermostats moved into the digital age 20 years ago. Please put functional updated thermostats into the rooms!

Hotel had friendly informative staff and located in a convenient downtown setting near public transportation. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. I didn't like how they charged extra for breakfast and WiFi. It has fast and good services.

Visiting for a week. Got here and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is great, the Hotel itself is nice, but being from a bigger, city this Hotel is rather small with there rooms size. BUT! Portland is a sustainable state and I Love that, so I understand and don't mine the small rooms.

Hygiene was he biggest problem. One waiter dropped my piece of lemon that she was serving to on the table. She picked it up with here bear/dirty hand and put it back on my cup of hot water. I removed it and asked her for another one . She brought one more piece holding it on a piece of napkin. That was hilarious to me. Once again the same lady who was not serving us at this time because we requested a gentleman to serve us came and picked up my place with food. I had not finished eating. Thank for the survey hoping this will help the hotel to choose wisely while picking their employees. One more the, we thought such big hotel will validate the parking but that was not the case. In Washington where we were visiting from, validating our packing was an obvious thing.

The hotel has excellent location. Their very professional staff, super friendly, greet you with your name, clean and even though the room is small, it is enough and with an 80-inch TV screen with perfect resolution.

Positives, it's a hotel. Negatives, I could have stayed anywhere else and had a smoother experience. The rooms are dated, the beds unsupportive, and pillows might as well not even exist given how thin and unsupportive they are. Staff are courteous when you can find them. I waited 12 minutes to get my statement upon checkout whereas literally every competing brand hotel I've ever stayed at sends those automatically during the night.

This was the first Hilton, and will be the last, that I've stayed at in recent years.

Friendly staff. Good text messaging capabilities to communicate with guests. I was near the elevator bank and the 'ding' that the elevators make when they stop at the floor woke me up in the middle of the night. I was on the 16th floor and could also hear emergency vehicle sirens, but no normal road noise.

Good central location.

Rooms small, no fridge, thermostat was temperamental. Oh and...and you'll have to pay for internet! It's 2016 and the Hilton charges for Internet??! The pool and exercise room was pretty nice. I did snuggle hard in the bed but that's none of your concern.
