The food at my conference was great. Room was clean. Pillows awesome but bed a little firm for my taste. Check in and out easy and the few interactions I had with staff were pleasant and they were attentive to my needs.

RUN AWAY! Booked for 2 1/2 day work trip. They fail to mention THERE IS ZERO PARKING FOR 23 story hotel!!! No public place to park. A Wednesday 3pm,,,parking garage full across the street, down a block. (Like pulling luggage, a large purse, and rolling a briefcase is what I signed up for)...they even asked to keep my car keys while they tried to figure what they had to do with 50 double parked cars blocking all other cars) Too full couldn t get out. Got to hotel. Seemed like prices went up from when I booked? Incidental charge? What? Due to no parking, pretty much MANDATORY VALET..at $55 a night. What should have been 600 bucks for 2 nights with a meal,,,would turn into a GRAND!!. I actually was so angry I stayed 1 night, not two. Went to a better hotel, nicer rooms for less free WiFi, and a PARKING LOT! Imagine that! This hotel decor is outdated. Restaurant/lobby bar high prices, not sure I could find one cocktail under $17. But I adored Server Christina. She s a top star rating.

Fantastic location in Portland -- you're right in the center of everything! We ended up finding a great deal for two nights when searching for a place in Portland to stay while attending a concert. The proximity to much of what the city had to offer was a definite highlight, and overnight parking prices weren't too bad either while offering in/out privileges. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly, readily offering suggestions on locations and places to eat when asked.

It was very nice. The food was above average for a hotel and the employees were nice. Parking was only available via vallet and it wasn't cheap. All around definitely worth booking if your making a trip out of going to Portland. Oh and there is no pool eventhough there might be one listed in their website.

This ia a great location with staff and food as you would hope in a Hilton. My only issue here was loud door closing, most locations have measures in place to reduce this issue. We were awake many times by very loud door closing from multiple rooms above and below. Issue is worsened by visitors form east coast wanting to get up at 3am.

This hotel is nice, I was here for a conference not sure if that had anything to do with the room not having a refrigerator but I guess some rooms are not equipped with refrigerators. Also there are only 1 set of elevators and with a large conference the wait time was crazy. The rooms are nice conference rooms beautiful and food was delicious. The location is good you are only 5 minutes away from the mall and there is a steakhouse right outside across from the hotel.

We only stayed one night, and not much can go wrong in one night. Overall the experience was fine. We didn't choose the hotel and came to town just for the weekend. I don't like that self parking isn't available and valet was a whopping $43. I would have liked to rent a car for my 2 days in Portland rather than be at the mercy of the MAX, but that prohibitive fee costs more than the car rental would have. Because we were at the mercy of the MAX, our ability to access the hotel was severely restricted due to protestors/rioters in the city that weekend. I really, really would have liked to have a rental car. On another note, I found their new renovation of the lobby and pavilion areas hideous. What a travesty to paint over all the amazing, beautiful woodwork so characteristic of an older, downtown city hotel. And to paint it dark, depressing gray. As if Portland isn't gray enough! Sorry to say the gorgeous Hilton we stayed at is not the gorgeous Hilton it used to be. Bottled water is 3.50 a pop, yikes! Luckily we picked up one at Ikea on our way there for only $1. Overall I wouldn't stay here again by choice, but as far as downtown hotels go, it was good.

Wonderful staff. The food was pretty good, nothing to write home about, but great considering the size of our group (+200). Facilities were very nice, updated, and clean. All technology worked as well.

Valet damaged my vehicle by kerbing 2 rims during my stay. When I asked the valet during checkout if this was the first time this has happened he told me no, as they are in an old building and the garages are narrow with kerbs. However he said he was not the one who did it and asked me to file a report with the hotel.

Almost 2 months later got a claim denied. Their claims adjuster said that it will be denied as long as I can t proof when, where and how the valet damaged my vehicle. Last I checked, no customer ever gets to ride shotgun with a valet when they park the car. So how is the logic even valid?

Seems like a cheap trick by the hotel of avoiding liability and total disregard to customer service. To make it worse, it was a 1 month old car that I just bought. Very unhappy customer. Stay away!!!

Beautiful hotel, great location downtown. Restaurant was excellent too. Only downside was the older mattress. While very comfortable, there was a definite sunken spot where people have slept over the years.

As a spa manager, guest experience is everything - and it lacked at this Hilton. Prepare to be ignored if you're travelling solo as a woman. The rooms are very clean, but tiny - I am glad I was travelling alone because moving about the room felt very cramped, and the bathroom was worse. Also! Prepare to tack on about $35 per night with room tax, which they'll never tell you until after you check out. I was prepared to wine and dine myself at the hotel bar and restaurant, but changed my mind by the time the ONE friendly bartender made his way to me 15 minutes later. Honestly, try somewhere else if location isn't important. I wasn't wowed by this experience. (honestly, I am never out TRYING to be wow'ed but there wasn't even a small refrigerator or microwave in the room - at this price point, I expected a bit more)

This is a neat hotel, clean and beatiful veiws of the city! The beds are small, but comfortalble. Breakfast and meals at the hotel are really exspensive... 20 dollars for an omlet? I went to a nice restraunt down the block. Starbucks is really close to the hotel, which is good. Bathrooms are clean, the hotel is clean, staff is nice, It is a preatty hotel, Im not sure about price... my mom is paying for it of course, im not even a teen! I am from the seattle area, and I love portland! It is a nicer cleaner city than seattle, and the hotel makes the experience a whole lot better. Totally would recomenned this hotel to anyone!

The public areas are fine, but the guest room I saw was dirty and unappealing. I'm a Hilton person, having spent hundreds of nights in their properties over the years, and was surprised to see my home town Hilton was so gross. Where is housekeeping?

I've stayed in various hotels all over and I think what truly defines a good / great / luxury is the feeling you get from the moment you walk in the door. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on August 16 to 18, 2018. Tired from our early morning flight, we were greeted by one of the most arrogant, rude and most unhelpful front desk staff named SAMANTHA. She was unable to answer our questions, unwilling to give us tips about Portland and she told us to meet across the lobby to help store our luggages. She even rolled her eyes and was very condescending when we asked if we can check in before 4pm. She refused to answer our questions about our Hilton Honors status and the room service menu, appearing as if these questions were beneath her. We went to the place she told us to go to store our luggages but she made us wait for 30 minutes. We are of Asian heritage and it seemed like she was racially profiling us, which is very abhorrent especially for an international hotel like Hilton. She had so much attitude and arrogance. Because of Samatha, our experience was bad from the onset. Some other complaints about the hotel: wifi was very slow, the rooms were outdated and the bathroom had a lot of mold and dust especially by the airvents. Otherwise, the hotel did have some positives: great location, great TV and very comfortable bed. If not for Samatha, I was willing to overlook some of the faults (slow wifi, outdated hotel), but she really killed the experience for us. I want to report her to Hilton corporate. Dear Hilton, please do not put rude, arrogant and racist people on the front desk! It really turns us off from the Hilton brand.

Superb service at the front desk. The gym facilities were great and breakfast was perfectly cooked. The room was in the main tower and even there I had a nice view if the city and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a little on the small side but had enough room for me. Definitely a top hotel in Portland, I will probably stay there every time I return.

There is a UPS Store inside, on the 2nd floor, which was the reason for my visit. Hilton does not let them post an external sign however so if you are on the street via google you will probably stand there confused. Just go in and go past the front desk, up the stairs in the right, then when you get to the 2nd floor it is straight ahead.

This was a great hotel to be at. We came here for a event. And it was great! The bathroom were clean and the facility was nice. Had a great view of the city and was in the middle of everything. I would recommend you stay here.

My company had it's annual holiday party here. The food was great. My only criticism is there was not enough tables for the number of people. It seemed to be about a tenth of the number of seats for the number of people. This review should not be a reflection of the service of the hotel or it's services.
