I recently stayed here overnight while attending a wedding down the street. I was very pleased with the accommodations here. The building is beautiful and the rooms were quite ornate. I was surprised at how nice it was for what I paid. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wow. So it was just terrible all around. The room was very small bed practically had springs coming out of it. It was literally sinking in. The shower had mold and is a stand alone shower, no tub. We were supposed to have a double bed but only got a single and had to request a roll away bed. I've had better experience at a Holiday Inn. I'll never be back. Nice on the outside nice hallways etc. But the rooms are not cared for. Oh and the hair dryer would only plug in behind the nightstand and the plugs were very worn out by the lamp. Don't for to pay for your parking! Way too much in my opinion $28 to park.

My Husband booked this room again without my knowledge. However, I'm always willing to give a place a second chance though. This time around, the room was a little bit better. The manager never called me from my last day but that's just fine. The biggest gripe I have this time is that we were harassed by the housekeeper. He was stalking our life! There is no reason for a housekeeper to stalk you at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and check out time is at noon! He came back knocking 3 times. We had a late flight got in late and this is what we had to deal with. They put us by the loading dock and it was extremely noisy. They need to have microwaves and refrigerators in the room. Smh!

I never leave bad reviews, but this one is necessary... I'm shocked this Hilton is considered 4 stars, cool building but anything you want besides just a coffee pot is an extra charge! Mini fridge $35 extra, parking $25 extra. Not worth the price unless you get a great hotwire deal. Even the concierge when we checked out said "sorry I don't make the rules, don't get it either". Our bathroom was discussing, hair in the tub, sink, and even stuck to the walls next to toilet. Never staying here again. Love love love the Pfister!!!!!!

Spent the night for my father's wedding. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. I'm 8 months pregnant so that is saying a lot. Food was great and every staff member we came in contact with was fantastic. The only real issue we had was our room key wouldn't work in the parking structure but we weren't charged for it. Overall good experience.

This hotel is not secure. I stayed here for 2 weeks on business, returning after a few days of travel elsewhere while leaving some belongings, and on my final night I returned from dinner to find my room reeking of marijuana smoke. Someone had clearly been able to enter my room (and potentially was doing so for several days without my knowledge). Thankfully I noticed nothing missing but immediately called the security guard, who was nice enough but he simply asked the front desk for authorization to switched rooms, skeptical that there was a problem because he doesn t smoke marijuana so doesn t know what it smells like (so, what does that mean, I m the suspect?). There was never an acknowledgment that there was a problem, and the hotel staff did not offer an apology or any other concessions.

Additional security concerns: you can enter this hotel on the ground level with access to elevator and stairs before entering the lobby on floor 2. There are multiple businesses within this building and there are multiple entrances so anyone can gain access and roam the hallways.

Additional problems: this is a 2 star hotel posing as a 4 star hotel. Nice lobby, very low quality rooms. Simple, basic things like picking up laundry/dry-cleaning do not happen even though they I followed the instructions. After calling about it, I was informed I needed to deliver the laundry bags to the concierge. That seems strange, plus these instructions were not included on the laundry form. Poor quality and lop-sided beds. Very loud in-room heaters and air conditioners instead of high quality centralized HVAC. Showers leave bathroom floor a puddle. The hotel is a few decades overdue for a renovation.

I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for the many reasons discussed above.

Beautiful hotel! Attached to the Wisconsin center which was very convenient for a new years show. Handled the large crowd very well. High top floors with beautiful views was definitely a plus!! Will be back for another visit soon!!

I travel here a couple times a year for work. As a professional motor coach operator, hauling a professional sports team, I spend many nights in hotels all over the eastern half of the country. I always get excited when I see the schedule is taking us to Mileaukee. Great city, with my absolute favorite hotel of all the cities we travel too. The Hotel is almost 100 years old, but do not let that fool you. No creaky floorboards or paranormal spooks here. For being as old as it is, the modern upgrades added to the original decor are just perfectly mixed. Two attached restaurants (Miller Time Pub, and the Chop House) are both fantastic. Staff at the hotel are second to none. Extremely friendly and helpful. Right across the street from a major department store and attached shopping mall. Looking at the history of the hotel on Wikipedia, it states that this was All Capones base when he came to Milwaukee. They have 6 consecutive AAA four diamond awards on display at the registration desk, and I am sure the 2017 award will be added as soon as it is awarded to them.

I stayed here for a 5 day conference; my room was cleaned only once during my stay. I called on the 3rd day and was told someone would come the next day to clean/restock, but no one did. The next day I went down to the front desk and spoke with a manager; I was told again someone would come, but no one did. The next night when I got in I called the front desk; I was told someone would bring up essentials for the room since housekeeping hadn t been there (toilet paper, etc). No one came. After a second phone call and speaking with the supervisor at the front desk, they apologized and I was given a ticket for a free breakfast the next day. Given the unanswered phone calls in between and the long lines at the front desk, I think this particular hotel is very understaffed.

Solid 3 stars. The beds and pillows are comfy which is most important. Classy classic lobby but the carpeting is showing it s age much like it s showing it s skeletal interweaving. The elevators are a bit tired as is the sink in my room. Think of this as the Taj Mahal your grandparents went to back in the day. I d stay here again for the reasonable rate. The Starbucks downstairs is great in the morning but I beg of you go anywhere for food except that Miller themed pub downstairs. Drinks come quick the service is good for the first half hour can t speak for the food since we left before it arrived.

I got to say this is by far the weirdest mall in North America. It's directly across the street from the conference center (which is where I came from), and it's part department store part shops that belonged together in the 80s but do not any more. In fact the whole mall felt like it was out of Weird Science... still? It was a great stop for a break on the conference.

Great fast service. Big place very clean and upper class. It's not a ghetto hole in the wall. But it has great prices on drinks and food. If you like to hear about how bad slavery was there are some young blacks 2 blocks away hitting a joint talking about just that as if they were also slaves. It's on you... Lol. I can give a fk. This place is nice.

Great hotel, classic design that brings back the golden age of classic hotels. Great staff, nice variety of food choices in the lower lobby, added bonus? Millie!!! A little taste of being home while traveling, getting greeted by Millie every time you go to the lobby!

Rooms are overall clean. However, ours was small with a small bathroom and furniture that appears outdated. The tub drains slowly, resulting in several inches of standing water by the time one finishes showering. The lights are dim. We blew a fuse plugging in one appliance. There is no fan in the bathroom. The fans on the room do not turn on very high and changing the thermostat did not change the temperature accordingly. There is also a lot of noise bleeding into our room, either from the hallway or other rooms. The beds are comfortable, though, with fresh linen and nice pillows. The bellhop was nice at check in. Location is central, with easy access to the highways.

I have never had a bad experience at this hotel. I have stayed here several times, and always each visit. Top notch service, and lovely, clean rooms.

Staying here again tonight and as always, a lovely experience. We were checked in to our room by Daniel Hernandez, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Staff members like Daniel are what make a hotel stay special.
