Nice, clean room, friendly staff, and best breakfast buffet ever!. Pappadeauxs across the street and access to Pappacitas from the lobby! Toyota Center next door south, George R Brown next door east, Discovery Green next door north, and Minute Maid Park just two or three blocks further north. West was downtown Houston, nation's fourth largest city. Easy walking or can take the Green Line for free. Stops right in front of the hotel. Had a blast!

We always stay here when attending events at the Toyota Center or Minute Maid Park. It s location is close to both venues, it overlooks Discovery Green, has a Pappasitos, Starbucks, Spa, and Fitness Center. Everything you need is right here.

We enjoyed a Staycation for our anniversary . Had brunch at the Pappasitos inside the hotel. Emmanuel was our server. He was excellent. Very attentive. We enjoyed the hotel's breakfast the next morning, with Mohammed as our server. Also excellent service. Both I would describe as professional waiters. (See my other review on Rainbow Lodge) As for the hotel, it was also great. Our bellhop and valet did a great job as expected with any high end hotel. We usually stay at Zaza, and we're glad we gave Hilton a "chance" to exceed our expectations! :)

Great lobby area that includes a Starbucks, bar and 2 restaurants. 5 star decor and right in the heart of downtown next to discovery green. Connects directly to the convention center via indoor bridges for easy access to events. Great location and hotel.

Overall a nice hotel! It has a skybridge to the convention center, so if you are in houston for a convention, this is the place to stay. The rooms were clean quiet and comfortable, and they have a mini fridge in each room. The lobby is beautiful, and the buffet (and buffet staff) on the first floor were wonderful.

I was a little disappointed by the staff in the executive lounge on the 24th floor. They are supposed to provide a buffet at certain times of the day, but they were often late opening the doors. This is a pretty critical flaw if you are here for a convention and your day is carefully planned. They frequently ran out of food and drinks in the lounge, and were slow to refill them even when asked repeatedly. Also, the executive lounge is too small for the volume of people they let in. Many people were stuck standing for breakfast because there were not enough seats.

TLDR: Great hotel, but don't bother paying for the executive lounge if there is a large convention going on.

Fantastic upscale facility. Pool and gym resources are relaxing and enjoyable. Staff are pleasant and quick to assist. A fantastic location for those able to spend a bit more. Sign up for free Hilton Rewards to access the free wifi (a bit unusual, but acceptable).

Room is nice. TV is a bit small wifi is finiky if you want to stream. Aka use a Chromecast. Fridge is a empty minibar that couldn't get our water bottles cold even after overnight. Good room service. Water pressure varies between rooms.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff from the cleaning staff to the desk staff to the restaurant staff. I've never had a problem. Conveniently located at the convention center, just walk through a covered connected breezeway. This hotel is perfect for the events we set up at at the convention. To me, it is worth every penny not to have to face Houston traffic to get to the convention center, lug around our set up, deal with parking, places to eat, and the occasional "oops I forgot something, let me run back to the hotel" issues, it's all right there. There is a Starbucks downstairs and two restaurants with bars. The food and drinks are delicious, which can be rare at hotels, and prices are no higher than what you would find at most nice restaurants. And they are located near everything you could need, within walking distance.

Hilton America's-Houston has an incredibly convenient location if you're going to attend a concert at the Toyota Center, watch a game at Minute Maid Park, or attend a conference at the George R Brown Convention Center. You can park in the parking garage and go in and out with ease. You're able to walk to lots of restaurants and the super cute park across the street. The hotel service is incredible, the rooms are clean, and the view from the room I had was incredible. It's really easy to get to the convention center through the connected skywalk. Our standard room has a TV, coffee machine, and tiny mini fridge.

Loved Hilton America's in Houston. We stayed on the seventh floor and had a corner room, it was fantastic. My husband has shoulder issues and he said some of the best sleep he's had in a long time...painfree...Woo Hoo! We are now researching how to get the same mattress and pillows in our own home. Thanks Hilton Americas- Houston Texas for a fantastic experience from beginning to end.

We had a great stay as usual at the Hilton. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely view of the park. All the employees we encountered were very friendly. Our room service food and breakfast downstairs were great.

Location, location, location. Minute Maid Park is right there, convention center attached to hotel.
Parking is a problem so come prepared to valet or use parking garage. Call down for car because valets gets backed up a bit. Papsito's Cantina is a nice addition. As for the rooms, they need an update/refresh can be a bit dated in comparison to other hotels/Hiltons.

Good service, nice comfy beds. nice to have water and coffee everyday. I was there for a week, and to go to my room I had to use the elevator next to papasitos restaurant and the smell from the restaurant was not pleasant (old oil bad smell) for a full week.

Such a nice hotel with an AMAZING View, a nice upscale rooftop lounge and great restaurant selections in the lobby area. There s also an adorable park across the street with a few restaurants in it, live entertainment on Thursday nights and a great park/splash pad for kids! I do wish the pool was not indoors but it s still a nice pool either way.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms ... everything you can expect from a 'Hilton'. If I look at the price, it is purely the location because of the convention center that you pay for, if you do not have to be there then it is far too expensive ...
