I have been here 2 years. I just got my new lease renewal which has a $75 increase which they are saying is for upgraded appliances. I have had the same appliances since day 1 that I moved in Black appliances which I did not request So why now at my third year lease signing are they imposing this fee??
I have reached out to Hills Property Management , Vice President and I m awaiting a response I will update my post accordingly.

Well. Little update I contacted the Hills Properties Management office as they said they were checking into my situation and when I reached there office no one seemed to know anything about my review or whom I even needed to speak to? As for Sara Hendrix who is in upper management and I had spoken too and was to return my call has yet to do so even tho I have left her a number of messages. As well as Justin Seger the Vice President of Hills Properties. Its pretty bad when the receptionist answering the phone is apologizing for them not returning calls cause she can see they are active and has sent them notices herself. I guess maybe the residence are not that important but without us there salaries would not be paid.

Our company has worked in a professional capacity with Hills Property Management for years, and we are continually impressed with their good communication, efficient operations, and commitment to great service. On a personal level, my family experiences the outcome of their expertise and dedication when we frequent my children's doctor office as well as another location where my children take piano lessons, both of which are managed by Hills. I repeatedly hear from its employees how it is an excellent and fair place to work, offering good benefits and opportunities for advancement.

I currently live in a Hills Properties managed apa...

I currently live in a Hills Properties managed apartment complex just outside of Lexington, KY. I moved in the first part of November with my family and within the first couple days we had problems with our air conditioner.
We have called and reached out multiple times, and MX has responded and tried to fix it, however we are moving towards August and the air conditioning hasn t worked for almost a month. Maintenance brought us a portable unit that makes one room fairly decent, but it is still just a little under 80 degrees.
I have found that the staff has been slow to call back, and they have refused to take any money off our rent and/or to put us up in a hotel until they can get it fixed.
This is a new build, and there is no reason that we should be without air. I just wish that they would have been more diligent before it was the middle of summer at finding what the problem is. My property manager told me this morning that she reached out to the Regional Property Manager 6 days ago and just heard back!! UNACCEPTABLE. She also said that in almost a week she hasn t had ONE MOMENT FREE to give me a call and let me know one way or another if she had resolution. UNACCEPTABLE!!
Everyone should think twice before renting from a property managed by Hills Properties!!
