About an hour from LA downtown by train, it is a quiet and safe small city, a good school with a good UC ranking

Another school run by fascists. Unless you or your children follow a strict far left ideology, you will not be safe attending this school.

Don't even consider this UC if you're Jewish.
They HATE Jews. So scary.

A wonderful place to learn and to grow personally and professionally. Loads of clubs to accommodate everyone's interests. Special shoutout to AGS

UCI is a great institution of learning! If I were pursuing a PhD or Masters I would highly recommend you research this institution and contact their quality faculty! Go Anteaters!

Great professors and teaching style! Love quarter system and its exciting fast-paced environments.

Require a lot of information for financial aid & if you don t sign up right when it opens the spots fill up for the whole day.

Also, there s poor diversity in the student body.

Classes are too hard. Intro classes have students with 6+ years of experience...

Buildings/classrooms are old and poorly maintained. Plus, there s no air conditioning.

Lastly, as all UC s. Overpriced

The campus is full of greenery. There are many comfortable rest areas, and the center park is definitely somewhere to visit for a family!

Academic advisors are non cooperative and lack knowledge!

Spineless UCI is a home for degenerates.

The campus police will stop you all the time if you are walking around without a backpack. This means they have good security. I like that they have an In-N-Out on campus and their food selection is nice.

There is a lot of opportunities for minorities in engineering. Most of the professors are great and it is a friendly environment. If you are transfering to engineering, I would recommend to take all your math classes before and a programing class always helps. Food around here is a little expensive so you might like to find a grocery store in the surrounding cities. Finally, be prepare for the fast step quarter system.

UCI is a wonderful place to get your degree. My degree from UCI has gotten me a lot of attention from multiple companies.

The campus is beautiful, and the people are vibrant! The actions of a few students does not define the University as a whole. God Bless the United States of America!

Was here for a conference on the weekend and even though the parking lots were empty they still charged an arm and a leg and we're support vigilant about policing it. The air conditioners were locked and the rooms got super toasty.

Amazing school. I am currently doing a collage project on uci and I have learned so many wonderful things about it and and even thinking of applying there

This school of medicine had a bad support system. If you had difficulties, they did not do their best to help you through. All they cared about is numbers and research and pushing the students to the limit. Faculty and administration were not sensitive. Grading system was not friendly. Received multiple acceptances and made the mistake of going there. When I attended their ranking was in the low thirties, now in the high forties. They have gone down. I wonder why?

I actually dislike the school and the UC system for various reasons as a transfer student in engineering (disgusting elitism, grossly snobby affluent student body, highly expensive area to live in, diverse population of nothing but whites and Asians, etc.) but I'm giving it 5 stars to counter the recent scandal with the flag.

What most people here posting bad reviews don't understand that in a country that highly pushes all these "freedoms" down your throat, flag burning and banning are expressions of said freedom of speech. The freedom to express your dislike with the establishment. Most of the people here are too uneducated to know what does and doesn't constitute as free speech so take what they say for granted. They're just here out of frustration and butthurt.

My wife came here for an appointment with her eye doctor. She was late, but still got in to see him. There is construction going on, and it disrupts traffic flow somewhat, and you have to enter the parking lot a different way. I wonder how many years this will go on...?

Spend a day touring the school. Very good school with many departments. School is very unique and good school for psychology, business and sciences.

Out standing and comfort place for students and families. People friendly and good area for living.

Big campus that's pretty easy to get lost in. There's very little parking and it's just confusing to be here if you haven't been around before.

Financial aid doesn't care about you and will take away your money. Plus lots of suicides

Waited ten hours to find out I have pelvic inflammation and infection. Was up crying in pain for most of the night. Nurses and doctors don't care. Left me there to suffer. Didn't even so much as check on me..I will be contacting an attorney about this hospital, and I will NEVER go back.

We really enjoyed out evening of traditional Irish music at the Barclay Theater.

Went to a beautiful wedding here and the venue and staff were all great. It was modern, had lit up trees, and the food was great!

Id really love going to UCI if they gave me a place to live.

Love the area a lot. Very good studies, students, and not much traffic. You would spend a very good time here, even if you are studying abroad.

Definitely one of the best school at California, with strong faculty, peaceful environment

This is a very prestigious school. The campus is very close to local markets and restaurants. I like how the campus is one big circle, easy for students to get across campus quickly.

This is nothing more than another Uber Liberal University punishing a group for exercising their right to freedom of speech. Speech that they don't approve of because it doesn't fit the schools extremist liberal doctrine. When will these prima donnas learn that we are tired of all of the PC BS being taught to our next generation. Neither of my two daughters will be even considering UCI in the next 1 & 4 years when they graduate high school.

Beautiful nice new campus! But the employees that work here do not know how to give directions to different departments in UCI. It took 5 different employees to show me where labor and delivery is located.

Orchestra at the Barclay Theatre was so good tonight they got a standing ovation

I had a visit in UCI last 3 months, and I have to say that it is so amazing. The atmosphere, the constructions, everything is wonderful. I really hope that in the future, I can transfer to this university

This college should lose ALL FUNDING from the US Government.....and all students that voted to ban the flag that my father fought for and my friends died for should to sent to "all inclusive" Syria.....You and your liberal college are a disgrace to America......Our country is is dire straits with the likes of these types of ingrateful, spoiled little kids graduating.....You are a joke to America, be sure about this......

I stayed around 6 days at UCI dorms for a Stem Prep program and it was great. Better than expected. I like their majors, the environment is great and friendly and I've learned plenty from the students that attend this great college! I plan to apply to this college myself.

Yo dawg. I heard you had a hard time with math and science, so we hired professors with thick accents so you don't understand while you don't understand.

This school is overrated. Doesn't have much to offer, but it has high tuition and lacks any nice qualities. Better schools are available for less cost.

Perfect school for those who believe that safe spaces should override your free-speech rights

A magnificent campus. There is a park in the middle with massive fig trees, grapefruit trees, beautiful pink blooming trees, succulents and cucti. There also orange trees throughout the campus, and overall it is very green. There is a pub on campus (which rarely happens). The giftshop is huge and has an impressing assortment. There are many coffee shops throughout and a nice food court. They have amazing events, most of which are open to public. There are gorgeous statues and multiple art pieces. Many parking lots, but you have to pay--they give tickets for parking without a permit. Great place to be a student at (yay, anteaters!). And a great place to just come visit and take a walk!

The university hates free speech and tries to actively censor opposing views and opinions.
