I would give the rehabilitation department 5 stars.. They got my 91 year old mother up and walking,, talking, and good to go in 3 weeks!!! After a nasty ugly fall... Hand full of staff was out of this world amazing.. ( But that is everywhere) If you want to get back on track with your life and need a rehabilitation, this team of people are the Best of the Best hands down.. Thank you for helping our family get put back together again..
No one ever wants to be faced with having their loved one in a nursing facility, however Highline put my mind at ease. My uncle came to Highline initially for a short stay but ended up passing there. He had been ill for a long time and was not really wanting to get out of bed or do anything. I remember seeing both residents and staff around the facility with smiles on their faces like they are happy to be there! Staff were great with him. They encouraged him to get out of his room when he could, to socialize, and we actually got to see him smile in his final days. They were extremely respectful of not only him but of us as family, a LARGE family. They helped get him on hospice and when many of us were there as he was passing, they went out of their way to accommodate all 20-something of us bringing refreshments and continually asking if WE needed anything. They offered soft music and set up aroma therapy in his room while keeping him clean and comfortable. He passed after business hours and staff handled the details so professionally so we didn't have to stress while grieving. I can't thank you enough, Highline. I will definitely be recommending you in the future!!
I have been at Highline for over three weeks now and I have been treated very well. The therapy team has been great and they have really helped me gain my strength and now I am able to walk around with my walker. The only reason I am not giving Highline 5 stars is because I am not a huge fan of the food being served. Otherwise, Highline has been great.
I couldn t have asked for a better place to take care of my Grandfather. He was very happy at Highline Rehab and Care during his stay. Whenever I would visit he would always rave about the delicious food and the outstanding care of all the employees, especially his social worker. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for care for the elderly.
I had a wonderful stay here. After bad experiences at two other rehab facilities for recovery after hip and knee replacements, Highline provided excellent pain and medical management, has a very attentive and friendly staff, good PT and OT. This may not be a new building, but if you look at the overall picture of why you are in a rehab, it is for the care to prepare you for home. Also, there are many staff who have worked here a long time, which says something about consistency. I would highly recommend staying here.
They have been very good to my sister. She has gone from barely alive to walking on her new prosthetic for the first time today! The place is also very clean, has activities, and most of the residents I have met while visiting appear happy to be there.
After a rocky start, Highline address what I thought was below average Nursing. The care is much better now. Therapy has worked hard to get me the tools and strength I need to go home. Thanks Highline for making my stay a pleasant one.
Spent time rehabbing at Highline. LOVE the nurses and CNA's. All very caring and do a great job. Staff is caring and know their stuff. Always concerned and making sure I had what I needed or wanted. Food's not bad either.
Highline provided excellent care. They partnered with Halcyon Hospice to ensure my mother's final days were as comfortable as possible. The staff was knowledgeable, confidential and friendly. We were blessed to have their care and would recommend Highline to anyone for care and treatment.
I love my grandmother very much! Every time I drop by for a visit, I see she is well fed, and well taken care of :) I know that my grandma can be quite a handful! and a bit rude to strangers, to say the least.... The staff, are very kind and EXTREMELY patient and understanding. Even though she can be hard to deal with, (especially with her decreasing mental health due to her diagnosis of Dementia) they have never been cross with her and only treat her with kindness! I know she is in good hands =)
