Boston Red Dog Pet Resort and Spa Review

My Billy absolutely LOVED going to day camp at Red Dog & I was so happy to have found a fun & safe place for him to play...until the day he was bitten by another dog entering the play area!
Billy was just a few months old and apparently another dog bit him as he happily scampered into the room to play with his friends. The end of his ear was split wide open-the tear was about an inch long.
The manager and other staff could not or would not offer me any other details or information, despite the fact that the play area is *supposed* to be fully supervised by both humans & video surveillance.
I was extremely disappointed and angered by this event. Not only did my poor puppy suffer a viscous attack, he was further traumatized by an unsuccessful attempt to repair the ear by the on-site veterinary hospital. I could not believe that something like this could happen with absolutely no explanation. The only follow-up I received were several voicemails from the manager offering free day camp sessions! As if I would ever again trust them to care for my wonderful Billy.
Truly shameful.

My 4 month old puppy was groomed and taken such good care of. I felt completely at easy when dropping her off as she was greeted by multiple staff members. At the end of her session, I was given detailed feedback about how everything went and felt so relieved to have all the information and to see how cute she looked by the time I picked her up! We will definitely be back!

Red Dog took my dog back in for a daycare evaluation after a (COVID) year of no daycare / exposure to other dogs. They were quick to schedule his evaluation, provided detailed and valuable feedback while he was there, and more feedback when I picked him up later that day. They treated him, and me, with complete professionalism. I m so grateful for their expertise.

Just brought my 8monthd puppy to here for a swim class. The instructor was super friendly and professional. He looked like having a good time there.

Very professional; Our dog loved playing with the other dogs at the day care. We left our dog "Charlie" with Red Dog for a 5 day stay while we were out of town. Very happy with Red Dog. Will use them again.

I take my dog here for day care and swim lessons. The staff all know her and are so friendly to both me and my dog. I believe their fees are reasonable for the services they provide.

This is the first place that I ve taken my dog to get groomed and she was not traumatized by the experience. She was actually happy with the groomer and even went back to her twice to get some last minute attention before leaving. She usually can t get out of the groomers fast enough. So definitely recommend Red Dog.

I can t say enough good things about Red Dog! Our Brody loves attending daycare especially because of the friendly staff he is greeted by each morning. The front desk is extremely helpful and kind. I feel confident and comfortable leaving my boy with such loving people. A special thank you to Kelly for making our first daycare experience one of the bests! We truly appreciate all you do!

Our dog always has a wonderful time at Red Dog! She doesn't enjoy playing with other dogs which can sometimes make it a challenge to find the right place to board her, but the people at Red Dog are always happy to take her in and make her stay comfortable and special. She loves the regular walks and the play sessions with the staff, and she always goes in and comes out with her tail wagging!
