These guys were a life saver on my cross country bike ride. They went out of their way and worked after they closed to get my breaking fixed for my ride over the green mountains. THANK YOU.

Nice folks, but be sure to get a quote and ask them to tell you exactly WHAT they're going to do and HOW MUCH it's going to cost before you let them do any work on your bike or you'll leave with empty pockets. We ended spending at least 3 times as much as we'd expected to pay for simple repairs to 2 bikes.
Great shop and great service. I took my worn-out bottom bracket from a 80's era Univega to Highlander to get it replaced. The guy who helped me suggested a sealed bracket that he said would last forever, and then he put it on my bike for free and even gave me a used crank arm to replace my bent one. The whole deal only cost me 26 bucks and my bike was running like new afterward. Thanks guys!
Fantastic shop! I have purchased two brand new bikes from here, and have brought many older bikes in for a service. The staff are always friendly and very patient (i tend to talk a lot). If you're looking for a new bike or just need a tune up, Highlander bicycle is the stop for you.
Scammers. They do a lot of things correctly (and honestly) but they also took advantage of me on several occasions and charged me for several things that were not installed or repaired--on more than one bike I took to them :(
Helpful staff and amazing decor. Best place in Bennington for bicycle parts, gear, and services.
Great small town bike shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I order parts and have my bikes serviced here regularly. Very cool shop with lots of funky decor!
The folks at Highlander sell a range of bicycles from those just a bit pricier than Wal-Mart to the high end bikes for the hard-core rider. They offer a free tune up for bike purchases and are really responsive and reasonably priced for work. I bought a modestly priced Bianchi from them a couple years ago and love it. Zero buyers remorse. I highly recommend them.
Great staff, owner Peter is a true small business owner who gets customer service and works hard to deliver value to his clients. Regardless of your ability or interest, Highlander Cycle will exceed your expectations. I highly recommend this fine business.
Support your local Bike Shop for the betterment of our great sport!
Peter is extremely knowledgeable on everything bikes. From bike fittings to bike mechanics Highlander is one of the best shops around
I've been servicing my bikes at Highlander since they opened. I'm 100% satisfied with their service. What impresses me most is their open and non-judgemental attitude towards trying unconventional modifications and repairs. I believe that there are no problems that can't be solved one way or another and Peter and his son Andrew have persisted in helping me realize that vision. I highly recommend them for all your bicycle needs.
Exceptional service and quality of work. Made my 10 year old bikes ride like new. Employees were thorough in providing accurate estimate of work, no surprises. Work was done in a timely and professional manner. Highly recommend.
The derailer on my mountain bike stopped working so I brought my bike in for service after a prompt reply from my email request. I found the shop full of everything needed for a bike, including some new rides ready for purchase. Staff was very friendly and took a quick look at the bike before I left. I was called when promised and charged for the quoted work, in addition to some helpful advice to prevent future issues. It's great to have a full range of gears again! Highly recommend checking Highlander out for anything you need.
