Very good experience.
Very good experience.
Help Italian comprehensive and sympathetic.
Tour in the Highlands, needless to talk about it ... FANTASTIC!

Overall was okay... Our picnic lunch didn't came through to us because apparently when we got off, Callum didn't hand them out yet :/ He didn't even make an announcement of it beforehand. Though as a driver, he was quite good, telling us stories along the way. View was excellent nevertheless.
Amazing trips and great drivers, especially Callum a great driver and storyteller of scotland's History. Great !
Our tour guide Sandy forgot required paperwork and we were stuck on the bus in Calendar for an hour. Because of this delay, we found ourselves stuck on a small road for almost two hours behind a motor accident. Sandy was obviously freaked out because he rambled and talked in circles for hours providing very little information. Sandy did not engage in personal conversation with anyone only spoke to the group as a whole. Aloofly, he did not say a proper goodbye to passengers especially after such a long and stressful day.. Disappointing due to the outstanding reviews of the Highland Explorer tour guides. The 3 stars: nice bus, decent itinerary, ok lunch, and good value for money,
I have booked "Isle of Skye" with Highland explorers , but without any notice they cancelled my trip. My booking reference number is VF-IN-570-168007 .
I am really stressed out now and I have booked all my flight and accommodation for this trip. I'm really unhappy with the services.
Murray was an awesome guide, knew his stuff and also made it fun. Great day, beautiful tour!
Nicely organized. Friendly guide ( Yvonne). Had plenty of time to visit the places.
Superb excursion in the Highlands, unique landscapes in the world to do and see if you go through Edinburgh, spend a day there to discover the wild Scotia
Excursion made to Loch Ness with Ross
You have a beautiful country, be proud of it!
Absolutely the best time with Scot as our driver. He was a wealth of knowledge and kept the day from seeming 12 hours long. Will absolutely use this great company again on our next stay.
Did the 5 day tour and the itinerary changed along the way. Our guide Callum was weird. Not sure what the issue was but he just wasn t bothered, made his announcements before the whole group gathered. He was definitely more interested in chatting up a few young women in the group, keeping small talk with others minimal. He barely knew actual facts about places we went to. From his stories it appears that Scotland is a deeply superstitious place. We also stopped at all these random places that were tourist traps, instead of stopping at spots to enjoy and get views of nature. He gave no recommendations for restaurants in towns. I had to walk about town looking for veg options. Others were turned away because they went to eat too late. After dropping us off he wouldn t say what to see or visit. So most ppl never saw the beautiful parts of Inverness. I say all this because I kept asking him these things and his responses were monosyllabic. This isn t what I had imagined my highlands and isle of Skye experience to be. Find a better tour company that doesn t shove you around like cattle to cliched photo spots.
Many thanks to Dougie and Scott for the incredible experience of Up Helly Aa. Both of them are very knowledgeable, helpful and great fun. We had many laughs, not least of all Scott using a hand held drone to take a group photo! We were totally immersed in the spirit of the festival and Shetland culture.
We can highly recommend this tour and, again, thank you for a great time Dougie and Scott and for all your hard work to make the tour special.
Dave and Liz
We had a great time! Despite getting rained out on a couple of our adventures, Yvonne was always cheery, helpful, and full of knowledge and stories of the areas we visited. The buses were comfortable, and we always stopped frequently enough and at great places. The hotel we stayed at in Portree, which was part of the your package, was beyond our expectations. Yvonne really made the trip fun (and handled the bus like a champ), so if you can request a tour with her, do it!
The travel schedule is good and the guide explains it well. Fish and chips are delicious. The view of Skye Island was wonderful and the valley on the way back was spectacular.
Our driver and tour guide, Callum, was very professional and knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He told us about the various places and their history in a very interesting manner and with humour, he made our experience really enjoyable and memorable. We would highly recommend Highland explorer tours.
Tour organized very well with excellent companions, the wonderful Highlands
Calum was an amazing tour guide! He was polite, knowledgeable, and had a lighthearted and groovy playlist. A great bang for your buck with the Loch Ness tour and beautiful views. Thanks again, Calum!
Nice excursion. Reasonable prices. Driver / guide pleasant. :)
We had the 6-Day-Tour to the Outer Hebrides and Skye and it was fantastic. Caitlyn is the most passionate guide someone can wish to have, so many facts and stories. Scenery and landscape is worth seeing and really amazing. We were a group of ten nice people, so we had enough time to become familiar with each other. Accommodation and breakfast was great. A special praise goes to Margo of the Twenty Seven in Stornoway, she was one of the most kindest hosts I ever had. Thank you for the great time, I recommend this tour without any constraints.
On a day tour thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking scenery.
Having read the details of all the 1 day tours of Scotland on offer we picked and paid $300 AUD for the Taste of Highlands Tour which we thought sounded fantastic by the description. We had planned this tour a couple of months which we tacked onto our holidays after doing a tour of Europe which we loved, thought by the description, would be great to come to Scotland and do a nice scenic tour, have a lovely lunch, taste some whiskey, learn about Scotland all sounds fab, so was very much looking forward to the tour which we had the misfortune of being on today. We started off from their offices on High Street with our driver, who was also our guide. After about an hour and a bit we got to our first stop which was only suppose to be 30 minutes. We got onto the bus ready to leave before another passenger stated her sister was missing to the driver. As they got off to look for her the lady said to the driver 5 minutes after getting off could her sister be on the other coach. The driver stated couldn't be possible as the other tour was full. Fast forward 30 minutes and the driver decides to now check with the other coach which had been suggested 35 minutes prior, and low and behold the missing sister was on the bus. Having lost close to 45 minutes we set off for nothing short of the ride from hell. On slippery wet roads ,through steep and very narrow and winding roads the bus litterally flew through the roads and the beautiful scenery we were so looking forward to seeing and experiencing was lost to fear that weren't going to make it to our Destination without having an accident. We stopped at Glencoe to take pictures but all I wanted to do was get a cab back to Edinburgh. Knuckles were white and feeling sick reluctantly got back on the bus where the driver then says he's not stressed anymore as he's made up time. My Goodness he had scared the life out of everyone!
Driving didn't get any better and just as we were pulling into Fort Augustus for our Lunch, the next surprise got sprung on us. The driver let us and another couple out on the road and told us to walk into the hotel for our lunch and walk into the village to meet the bus. It was bucketing down. By the time we got into the hotel we were drenched. Being soaked our lunch was ok but certainly not worth the highway robbery charged for it. Once finished we proceeded into the village. By the time we reached the bus we were soaked right through. The whole reason we chose to lunch at a Restaurant was to avoid the chance of getting caught in the rain which was a good chance of getting from a picnic lunch in the middle of a Scottish winter!
By this stage both my husband and I had given up. It was the biggest waste of our time and money, revolving driving, horrible music which was only enjoyed by the driver as all you could hear was mumbling and a few beats now and then from the tinny radio was being played through.
I never write reviews that are negative unless its called for and this was definitely called for. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The only "Taste" of Scotland part that was right was the bad one it left our memories of harrowing driving and poorly coordinated inclusions.
it was a very pleasant tour, only the driver's accent combined with the vehicle's microphone was difficult to understand
A good tour company I researched here and a pleasant surprise. I did two tours and loved it, great sites and great guides.
The value is taken into account but given the exchange rate it is a bit pricey, but worth the Loch Ness and highland
Jo P was a great coordinator! She was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and was a great driver! She took care to learn the group members by name, and timed the tours well. I would highly recommend this tour company!
I absolutely loved the tour! Our guide - Greg - was awesome. He was really enthusiastic about the country, nature and the stories he told. He was completely natural, a real storyteller, no monotone in his speech at all (and apparently this was not only my opinion - whenever he started to talk, the bus went completely silent and everyone listened), his jokes were funny (such a rarity with guides!) and sounded like he told them for the first time.
The tour was amazing - the nature and views were breathtaking. We were very lucky with great weather - at the beginning we went past autumn farms with snowy mountains in the background and then drove in snow covered mountains. It was really beautiful.
Also, there were lots of toilet breaks and enough time to explore the areas we stopped at. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Awesome tour! Callum was a great guide. Very knowagable and fun!! A great day out!!!
Glenn our driver/guide was amazing! True to his roots - he was passionate, friendly, entertaining and very informative.
We took the Loch Ness Explorer tour - A majority of the time was spent commuting through the highlands but we covered more than we could have visited in a day. It was a lovely experience and highly recommended for those with limited time in Scotland.
4 stars because the on boarding process was slightly chaotic, microphone system in the bus was not very clear (luckily we were sitting up front)and lastly we should've had atleast 15mins at Glencoe instead of the 5.
Overall great experience!
We had a great time with Ian, who made the best of our tour despite the terrible weather we encountered. We couldn't reach our actual destination in Loch Ness, but he was very flexible and took us to some other places which were nice as well and his recommendations of local pubs and eateries were awesome as well. Besides, he was super funny and friendly, totally recommended to use these guys if you ever want to take a trip around Scotland! We can't wait for our next visit!
A beautiful walk through the Scottish landscape with a visit to Lake Ness, the super guide Sergio, who told us all day through history through gastronomy, sheep breeding or whiskey production, and was still incredibly nice and humorous ... Scotland I recommend authentic, rude, , incredibly clean ground ...
We really enjoyed the 3 day tour of Skye! The guide Crispy was really passionate and told us lots of Scottish stories which were quite interesting. We also loved the highland songs during the trip. In these days, we went to many beautiful attractions. I Will definitely recommend them to my friends.
Great Sky Island tour! The welcoming local tour guide said a lot of Scottish stories along the way, the car is also very nice music, very comfortable to play, go to many attractions and there will not be too exciting activities, very recommended!
We ve been taking a tours every year for the past 15 years, but we have never had so much fun as on this Highland Explorer Tour. Me and my wife took 5 day Tours to Highlands including Skye.
The tour guide, Caitlin, was the best guide we could possibly have. If it wasn t for her, this tour could have been just like any other tour.
We ve seen a lot during 5 days. From old cities to remote coastline locations. Caitlin was always informative and she knew every detail of Scottish history pertinent to our present location. She knew how to present information in interesting way and she s always had some music to compliment her story.
Because of her, the entire bus of tourists had a blast during entire trip.
We loved the way the entire tour was organized. We were able to choose between local hotels or B&B locations for each night stay. They were always walking distance from the center of each town. The tour guide we always informing us of best local places to eat or shop.
I m glad I did not have to drive during this trip because there are lots of small roads with lots of turns in Scotland. The driving skills of our drivers were amazing.
This Highlands Tour will always be our the best tour ever. I say that because Scotland is a beautiful and magical place. Me and my wife were so happy to chose Highland Explorer as our tour company for our vacation.
They have the best Tour guide on the planet Caitlin. If you ever book a tour with that company as for her.
She is an extraordinary person that is well organized, patriotic, great story teller, smart and funny and amazing driver.
I hope you will enjoy Scotland as much as we did.
It was a great experience overall. I just wished we could have stopped at more places and taken more views. But thats just me, may be the itinerary was quite tightly scheduled and long so there was less provision for this.
Beautiful day. Damage no explanations in French. Superb landscapes. Guider Stephen fun even if we understood nothing
What a wonderful day trip to LochNess and the Higlands, would definitely recommend taking any trip was this group!! Collum was a wonderful tour guide and driver. I would look into doing a longer trip with this group the next time Im in Scotland, such a great escape from the city!
We took the 3 days tour to the Highlands and isle of sky on August.
We loved it!
Absolutely enjoyed the 12 hours spent with them. Holly was a fun hostess and Colin needs to win the Nobel patience prize, if there is one. Basically a day well spent and one that I will cherish a lifetime.
Very well worth it and Rich is an amazing, funny and friendly tour guide, I'd definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go to scotland, thank you for giving me and my husband a wonderful experience
Ideal for Highland tour holidays, short breaks. Ideal May to August sadly cant guarantee the weather though!
I hate that I m leaving such a poor review but I feel I ought to warn people who are about to spend their money. Be prepared to not get your money s worth, unless I was just very unlucky two tours in a row... I went on the Taste of the Highlands tour. The only good thing about it was the expensive lunch I paid for in Loch Ness. Unfortunately, it took so long I didn t even have time for a proper view of the lake, and the drivers left us at the restaurant alone and without a map of the town so I got lost and was terrified I wouldn t find the group. So I went all the way to Loch Ness to not see it... that s not the worst part. The bus seats were very uncomfortable, not to mention the bus smelled like exhaust and there was no ventilation. The AC wasn t working, and the vents on the floor were blowing even hotter air. When I mentioned my concern because I was feeling ill, the driver laughed at me and said I could break the window...?!? I understand there wasn t much he could do but why not show a little sympathy. The tour guide admitted he was a rookie and proved that he didn t know much. He just went on and on about bloody battles which got tiresome after eight hours on a bus. Why not mix up the topics? When he wasn t talking he was blasting horrible music. I would have much preferred silence so I could listen to my own... Last big complaint was we felt rushed at every stop and we only got seven minutes at Glen Coe which is the most beautiful stop on the journey. I couldn t even get a decent picture... the whole trip was a big let down. I m really disappointed in Highland Explorer and would not recommend them. Either they don t care to build effective itineraries and maintain their buses, or they re just not training their guides...
I booked a 3 day tour of Skye and highlands for myself and my parents. The Highland Explorer Tours did a great job in putting together a great itinerary of places to see. Accommodation at B&B locations was also good. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Lee for being an awesome driver and guide.
Had a Highland day tour at a discounted rate, which was not that cheap at all compared to other companies. Traveled in a large vehicle full of people without any single seat left. The guide was okay, but it was quite difficult to concentrate the accent he has especially from very back of the seat. Too little time on each stop overall.
Beautiful journey through the highlands, the guide was truly comprehensive and engaging, I highly recommend this experience
We had a great tour with Fiona and we we re impressed with her being able to drive so well and give us a great commentary at the same time. Saw some really beautiful scenery and it was definitely worth doing in order to get a taste of the highlands. Thanks Fiona!
Great tour!!! we learned a lot from Kisty, who was really willing to explain Scotland History, Really enjoyed!!
I did the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Jacobite Steam Train tour with them and it was a dream come true. If you're a fan of Harry Potter, it's something you have to experience. I felt very safe all the way, everyone with masks and ice on the bus available at all times. I recommend it 100%
We did a 3 day tour of the highlands and Isle of Skye and it was lovely! Yvonne was an excellent guide and she drove that bus like a boss! From start to finish, it was an excellent trip. One tiny complaint was the hotel in Portree. A bit cramped and the noise from the street was a bit loud especially at 2 a.m. But, anyone visiting Scotland shouldn't miss out on the beauty of Skye!
Thanks Joe for all your great "stories." Really brought a great personality flare to the tour. Clearly is very knowledgeable about all things Scotland and that was greatly appreciated!
We did the Loch Ness one day tour out of Edinburgh. Our guide Stevie P. did a good job talking about the history of there areas we were traveling thru. The tour was nice, it just seemed very rushed. Especially if you do the boat ride at Loch Ness. You don t have enough time to look around or go into the shops. The scenery was beautiful. Overall the tour was nice.
It was a lovely tour with a great lochness and Scotland highlands view
Our recent 3 Day Isle of Skye and Highland Tour was one of the highlights of our holiday in Scotland. Our tour guide Graham's contribution, knowledge and humour, along with his competent handling of the bus, made for a very enjoyable experience.
I took a day trip to Loch Ness with this company. From ticket sales on the distribution of information, etc., everything worked perfectly. The highlight of the trip was our driver Murray, who brought us closer to his country and people in his charming way. The bus was OK, unfortunately without toilet, but we have enough stops. The German audioguide worked perfectly technically but the dialect and the reading errors of the lady who spoke the whole thing made me grin a few times; I preferred to listen to Murray.
All in all a nice trip from Edinburgh to Fort Augustus, but definitely not suitable for people who can not sit still for long.
My wife and I recently had the good fortune to tour the Isle of Skye, Loch Ness and ride the Jacobite train with our guide Scott. Aside from the majesty of the highlands, the history, music and stories provided us by Scott, made this tour a memorable and rewarding one. Having been on many tours I would argue Scott's may have well been our best ever. Even if he did forget to send me his playlist.
We had a great time during our tour and our driver Yvonne made the trip even better.
Had a wonderful time on our Highland tour. Glenn was great. Loved his stories and his play list was excellent. The travel time was lengthy but passed quickly due to Glenn and his history facts, stories and myths. If you want to see the more rugged Scotland you have to take this tour. Also, want to say Hi to Glenn s Gran!!
Superb day in the highlands with jamie s. I recommend the lockness tour that allows you to see and learn as much as you can about scotland that is full of beautiful places and history (especially around clan wars). On the other hand it is a busy day you must know (the tour lasts 12 hours for only 3 short hours).
Took 1 day tour for stirling aberfoil and glengoyle distillery. Very nice and professionally managed by tour driver Sergio (sir joe) good knowledge and kept us entertained throughout the 12 hours of the journey with amazing tips on Scottish Gaelic legends folktales and stories.
Ross is like a one man band, (guide, driver and a lunch man).
He drives really good, knowledgeable about history and a sense of humour.
The Taste of Scotland is excellent, but I think may be you put this program at the bottom so people can't see it. I recommend you to put on the top list!
A friend and I did the 3 day Highland Trip about a month ago. Duncan was our guide and he was fabulous. He kept us on schedule, yet we never felt rushed. He provided explanations before we would get to the sights and had wonderful stories to tell about the history and folk lore. He also allowed times for rest. Duncan clearly enjoyed his work and it showed. Wish he could have accompanied us as we continued our vacation elsewhere--we missed his explanations and stories.
I did the whisky and waterfalls tour with Highand Explorer tours and it was brilliant. Leaves at a reasonable hour yet still you get to see so much. Our guide Iain was great with sharing the history for all our visit stops as well as plenty of entertaining stories on the road. I wouldn t describe myself as a whisky lover yet however I really enjoyed learning how whisky was made and the walk to the waterfall and especially the stop in Dunkeld. Great tour. Highly recommended.
Took the Highland explorer tour with Caroline. She was brilliant and her love of the highlands made it all real for me.Caroline is a great historian also .My husband and I really enjoyed the experience.
Went on the Outlander tour and was delighted with Ross our driver & tour guide. He was great at providing interesting information & a fantastic driver. Great job!
We had a great tour with Gill. Lots of historical information, personal stories and we'll planed out trip.
Visiting from Australia we found this tour company fantastic.
Modern , safe, clean transport provided with a very informative, yet humorous tour guide/driver.
We went with our two children on a highland tour to Loch Ness , it was a big day trip but with plenty of photo and toilet stops the journey was made comfortable for all.
I would highly recommended this tour if you visit Scotland on your journey and would definitely recommend to include this tour company to make the experience special.
Several circuits are offered. Our guide, Yvonne, was very interesting!
Just finished a 5 day Isle of Skye Loch Ness tour and it's the best ever. 3 knowledgeable guides/drivers. Great story tellers. Hotels OK but clean, friendly, helpful, well situated and very good breakfasts. Beautiful scenery especially the Harry Potter Rail trip. Highly recommend this trip.
The Loch Ness tour was amazing! John knows everything about this country and has a good sense of humor. The driver Fernando was kind and kept us safe. This whole day experience gave me so much information and great pictures. Thank you for everything and the trip was unforgettable!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day tour with Greg, 28th sep onwards!
On day 6 I was definitely a little saddened to not be getting on the blue bus to see where we could explore next ;)
We had previously been to Scotland a few times but even with several weeks in the Highlands; it's certainly impossible to explore it all however!
On our solo trip last time... one thing was missing.. and that's the historic detail and facts of what you're actually looking at, standing on or walking around!
This is where Greg comes in - he was very informative and provided so many interesting facts and details along the way.
The roads are also tricky to navigate in some parts and to drive on those roads whilst providing lots of details en route is certainly a great trait to have!
You do spend a good amount of time off the bus and Greg ensured there were adequate breaks in between stops for a wee coffee or toilet break.
Overnight stays are in Oban, Portree and Inverness - all with their own amazing scenery.
Pretty much all of the stops were well timed. For feedback, possibly an extra 30 minutes at the Culloden battlefield, Beauly & Dunkeld would've been super.
We didn't know much at all about the accommodation we were staying in (we could've just asked..!) but the surprise was actually a very pleasant one. The B&B & hotels were lovely and cooked breakfast was available at all but one. (temporary measure though due to covid!)
Speaking of COVID - the bus seating arrangements were socially distanced, everyone wore masks... hand sanitizer was available and Greg regularly wiped the high touch points down when we were getting off at different spots. Really well done here guys!
Greg kindly stopped at some great viewpoints to allow us to get some fantastic pictures and most importantly, pictures of some lovely hairy coos!
I never knew much about Scottish history but this tour has certainly opened my eyes on how the clans worked and battled throughout the many years!
I thoroughly recommend taking the Jacobite steam train (aka hogwarts express!) and the Loch ness tour! As comfy as the bus is, these are two fantastic opportunities and to go over the famous Glenfinnan viaduct was something quite special indeed!
In terms of the boat tour... sadly no Nessie in the waters this time round - she is behaving by socially distancing for sure..! The weather was quite rainy on this day but that certainly added to the spooky atmosphere of Loch Ness. (it's amazing how deep it actually is!)
In summary... (before this ends up being a book ;) )
If you're looking to spend sometime in Scotland then I absolutely recommend Highland Explorer tours / Haggis Adventures.
We really enjoyed this trip and without a doubt - we will certainly be back in the future - most likely to explore the Outer Hebrides next and possibly with more family.
A big well done to Greg for all his time and knowledge, as well as keeping everyone safe! He is a credit to the team and definitely shouldn't be discouraged to ask for more reviews :)
This was one of the best tours I've ever been on. The guide, Glenn, was absolutely wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us about the history, and he told fantastic stories. He really made sure that the tour was fun, lively, and entertaining. Every thing was absolutely beautiful too. Everywhere we went, there were so many spectacular sights to see. I had a blast. I will definitely book with this company again. 100 stars!
Great service, reasonable price and guide with great knowledge about the country and the places visited.
Great experience! Our first time in Scotland, worth the trip. Stirling Castle is simply majestic. Our bus driver Graham is an awesome story teller, 5 stars all the way! Bravo!
I gave this a two - but with great hesitance.
I booked the "Loch Ness Explorer" tour after much research and deliberation over some of the bad reviews I read. Deciding to give this tour the benefit of the doubt, my family and I set out on the tour on August 1.
We only had two nights in Edinburgh, so taking an entire day out of the itinerary was no quick decision. But the chance to see the Highlands and Loch Ness was one we agreed we couldn't pass up.
After this tour, however, we've learned our lesson - believe the bad reviews. Especially if you're sacrificing other opportunities.
Our driver and guide, Joe, initially seemed great. Told some jokes and great stories. That lasted all of an hour. Soon enough we were on a terrifying "jaunt" up to Loch Ness. Joe's driving, big bus in Scotland or not, was insane. And I'm putting that nicely. There were many moments where I was ready to eat the cost of finding our own way back to Edinburgh.
I understand the need to rush to get all the way to Loch Ness and back in one day, but this was ridiculous. We were rushed everywhere, sometimes only given just enough time to use the toilets before we had to go again.
And don't even get me started on the disaster that was the Loch Ness boat cruise. I added this on thinking it would be a great time - but because of Joe rushing us through and trying to get us on the 1pm boat it was pretty damn terrible. My husband and 6 year old tripped and fell on the road in Joe's hurry to get us off the bus and onto the boat.
The "lunch" was a joke. The sandwiches were thin and over seasoned to the point of being inedible. The biscuits were a small package of pre-baked biscuits. We were lucky enough to get what we selected, but others were not as there was no system besides the honor system to take the sandwich you'd selected.
In the end, I gave this 2 instead of 1 because at least we still saw some nice sites.
Next time we'll do something on our own. I advise everyone else to do likewise.
My mom and I did the Outlander day trip and overall it was just okay. We had done a tour with a different company the day before and our guide was phenomenal. If we hadn t done that tour first I probably would have given this tour a five star review but after doing the other tour, this one was just okay when compared. Our guide said um and like constantly so it was hard to get immersed in what she was saying and there was a lot of long music breaks where info about the show or Scottish history could have been brought up. When our guide Yvonne did give information it was great and very informative/interesting I just left wishing there weren t so many long breaks of just music playing.
Our driver, Caroline, was great. She knew the historical significance of the places we visited (Loch Ness tour and Outlander tour), and had a pleasant voice while she was narrating. She was also very kind, and knowledgeable, and a safe driver. My husband and I felt very safe on the bus. We hope to take a tour with her when we revisit Edinburgh in the future. Good job, Caroline !
Great experience, highly recommend for anyone who wants to see a lot of Scotland in a short period of time. Tour guides Rich and Jamie are fantastic at what they do. Many thanks for the memorable adventure!
We did the Highlands tour with this company and it was an amazing tour.
Horrible. We did the excursion to Highland and Loch Ness and they put us in a super uncomfortable bus with seats that are not even on low-cost airlines. A 12-hour excursion on a bus that is not used even for school transport. If you don't speak English, don't even think about going with them. On top of that they charged us a deposit for the audio guide (which doesn't compensate) that they didn't give us back when we got back because the office was already closed. Nothing recommendable. A hoax.
Last month my fiance and I did the 3 day isle of sky tour from Edinburgh. Although the bus was a little cramped our tour guide Steve ensured that we had a great time. The ride was filled with entertaining stories about Scotland's history and provided great suggestions at each stop so we enjoyed each stop to the fullest.
Had a Great time on the Loch Ness Day Tour. It was a long day but got to see much more than I'd realized, like spending time in Glen Coe and some great photo spots as well. The guide was fantastic, good memory for facts and entertaining. Regretted not taking a longer trip. One tip though - If you can buy a haggis pie from the bakery en route, it was amazing!
We took a one day Outlander Tour. Our guide Gillian was wonderful. The bus was clean, new and comfortable. The sites were beautiful! Would highly recommend. Well worth the modest fee!
excellent! Calum was the best! Highly recommend the 5 day tour!
Setup a full 1 day excursion through the highlands up to Loch Ness. Probably had the best bus driver/guide ever. Thank you Ian . Picture a tour guide that can drive a coach bus while telling hilarious jokes and facts about Scotland all with a Scottish accent. It doesn t get any better than that! The tour is long and has a lot of sitting on the bus (what do you expect when you try and see most of Scotland in a day) but the highlands are gorgeous and Loch Ness is stunning. You see a lot of stuff on the way up and back as well. Would highly recommend this tour/company and try and get Ian as your guide.
Loved it! Have been on the tour twice, both with Kristy, and couldn't be happier!
