Nice restaurant with affordable prices. Cafeteria type sitting arrangement, not so fantastic decor, in fact no decor at all, the main intent of the owners of this restaurant is to feed hungry customers. Food is delicious and a good place to stop for lunch. Downside is the no transfer and no POS policy" at this time and age, that's surprising.

This place serves food in a clean, no frills environment. Everyone queues to buy food with the opportunity to select whatever soup or meat please you. The main food here are Amala, Abula (Gbegiri and Ewedu), rice, fried plantain, beans, goat meat, beef, assorted meats and eggs. They are pretty consistent with the taste of their food and it s not expensive at all. There s a car park with a visible sign everywhere that cars are parked at owners risk. It s a nice place to try out local Yoruba cuisine.

Choi! The food here made sense! Rice with stew was delicious.

Con.
The serving plates though. They were nothing more than Stainless Steel bowls, the type used for hand washing! I had some difficulty getting past that. I know they want to serve 'native food', but ejo, presentation matters jare.

They have a bold sign saying 'No POS'. In 2019...

Unfortunately, I didn't take a pic of the place.

Asides the fact that their amala is nice, the staff are very very rude. No good customer service there. Also I do not understand why in the 21st century they wouldn't be using POS or transfer, Only cash is accepted there. It baffles me how people still flock the place.

Easily the best Amala in town. Avoid here during the peak period (1-3pm) on weekdays if you're not ready to be on a queue for too long.

Yes, always go with cash because POS is a taboo.

They have quality local foods, I actually don't like the fact that I have to carry plate and stand on the line to be able to buy food as if we are prisoners, and also some of those girls that serve there can't actually speak English but the food is very very ok

Are you new to amala, ewedu and gbegiri like myself or are you seasoned in the act of eating it? This is a place to get a well prepared amala meal. They also have measures in place against COVID19 like the availability of water and soap at intervals. Also, you can only buy takeout at the moment. No dining in.

I had heard raving reviews about this place, but I have to be honest and say the quality of the food didn't live up to expectations! I had amala, ewedu and goatmeat. The price point was reasonable, N800 for a meal consisting 2 wraps of amala plus 2 medium pieces of goatmeat plus a can of malta guinness I have rated 3 stars won't be going back!

I absolutely love the meal. This is the best amala joint in Abuja. If there is more than 5 stars to be given, I'll give them. Affordable meal with delicious food. For the first time, I enjoyed eating amala in Abuja. I recommend this place to anyone who is a lover of amala like me
