Nicely redone restaurant with a bar and banquet room. Tables are close together. But food and service is very good.

Our party of four had an awesome evening last night. We first ate dinner, amazing food and service and then our waitress moved us closer to entertainer, Michael Nugent. OMG, we plan on bringing new people with us to share in our experience untill we have to go to Las Vegas.

Odd combination of bread, corn bread was very dry crumbled when I tried to put butter on, Plain bread would be much better

The first place I come to eat when I visit Western NY. The food is amazing and the staff is phenomenal! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself!

The food is always good. Some things can be a bit pricey but the portions are worth it. The bar area is nice and has usually enough seating for waiting and eating and watching whatever game is on the TV's.

Chicken pot pies, salad, soups and steak sandwich as well as the crab cakes were Delicious. Joanne was most attentive !!!

Excellent meal and varied lunch menu. We went for lunch and waited for a very long time to get our orders taken, but possibly our waitress watched us being busy talking and looking at photos. We were not in a rush.

The food is delicious! The service is outstanding! Can't wait to go back! The staff was fun and outgoing. All of us who went to dinner enjoyed our experience!

Great menu with a so many wonderful choices. But, I cannot write a review about the Hideaway without mentioning my favorite, their homemade banana cream pie. Even if you're full after dinner, take a slice home, that is, if you're lucky enough and they haven't sold out yet. This isn't a place you check out when you're in town, this is a place you specifically drive to. It's your destination.

Loved the food and service but it was cold where we were seated after the fireplace was turned off.

We stopped by for fish fry and found it was only Friday. The calamari was perfect, the ahi tuna was great too. Great service, great chef, nice atmosphere.

Nice restaurant.Steak quesadillas are great.Best German potato salad around .Happy hour popcorn.

Great restaurant. Had a party of 16 (ages 5-93) for a birthday celebration. Perfect seating location in recently renovated front area. Great service from Emily and Fran. Great food. Reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

Our table was definitely in a cold draft and I had my coat across my lap to keep warm. Service was slow but we still tipped good. Food was pricey and I was served fries barely warm, they were replaced with fresh hot ones when I said something. Our drinks were refilled once but sat empty for a long time before that happened. Not very fancy inside and bathroom although clean reminded me of high school. First time there for me. It was ok, not great.

We stopped in on Friday for a quick meal and i must say the experience was phenomenal!!! Even though there were no reservations for 2 people we were quickly seated and i must say the food was excellent. On top of that the hostess that was on staff that night had the greatest customer service i have seen in the industry, We waited for maybe 5 or 10 minutes in between courses in which she continued to come up to us to make sure drinks were full and table was clear because our waitress was very busy which we understood because the whole place was packed. I highly recommend that people continue to go here and support this establishment because the food and service are top notch!!!!

I got a couple of fish fries to go. Very good but a bit pricey.

Food is decent, prices are a little steep. They have lost some of their quality over the years (like cheap rolls instead of homemade bread) and the atmosphere has become more casual (lots of people wearing jeans and t-shirts). Used to be good for a romantic night out, but now more suited for get-togethers with family/friends.

Food was good, customer service was on point. Just needs a little new decor. All and all good.

Great fish fry experience. Sadly, they lost a star for the paltry sides of Mac salad and Cole slaw. But we were supplied a little more slaw when we asked for it.

We had the steaks. Very tasty. Will go again to try their chicken pot pie which looked yummy on another table.

The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because they literally charged me an extra $2 for takeout after i sat at the bar and had a few drinks (weak), I didn't notice it until I got home but that's what they did, also the place is a little pricey, 3rd time here 1st time take out. BUT The service was amazing (Mary Ellen i believe her name was) and the food was absolutely delicious ( all times i ate here) . I ordered the stuffed banana peppers which was the best I've ever had and the Cajun fish. the portions are small in the fish but everything was delicious I will go back but I'm definitely going to question the extra charge for having takeout because that place was busy and everyone was taking out. they shouldn't try and beat people out of a couple of extra bucks on an already pricey menu. Have to admit though the food is delicious, very clean and nice atmosphere and very good service. Hours of operation not good.

Terrific for a fine dinner or a beverage with tasty appetizers. The Calamari is one of the best. This is our favorite spot when in town.

A preferred place for tasty american food. food was so delicious. service is typically great. the place has a cool atmosphere. this place has many reviews for a reason.

It is a bit of an odd establishment. Bit dark on the inside, and the service was a little underwhelming. However that being said the food was surprisingly good.

Cannot recommend for highly sensitive gluten allergies based on my experience (ordered GF and got sick). Pretty good food and atmosphere otherwise.

Great meal , great service from Heather our server. The Hideaway participates in restaurant week , and I selected one of the choices. The flat iron steak was fantastic. A good selection of local breweries on tap and bottle. My wives choice of the Australian lobster tail was excellent and did not disappoint her . We'll definitely be going back to the Hideaway !!!
